Pablo López podría perderse la temporada 2026

Una noticia devastadora, sacudió el campo de entrenamiento de Minnesota Twins, este lunes y es que Pablo López sufrió un desgarro significativo del ligamento colateral ulnar del codo derecho y su panorama sería una segunda cirugía Tommy John.  El lanzador venezolano sintió la molestia en un bullpen en vivo en la casa primaveral de los Twins, en Fort Myers (Florida), y con ello fue sometido a una resonancia magnética y con ella los resultados arrojaron una lesión en el codo de lanzar, por lo que de someterse a esta operación, perdería toda la temporada 2026.  López, quien estaba llamado a ser, nuevamente, el as de la rotación de Minnesota, además de participar con Venezuela en el Clásico Mundial de Beisbol, ahora es una baja sensible.  En 2025, el derecho también fue víctima de lesiones, las cuales solo le permitieron 14 presentaciones durante toda la temporada, para un récord de 5-4 y 2.14 de efectividad.  Aún se espera el veredicto final sobre el lanzador zuliano. Sin embargo, no luce nada prometedor el futuro del apodado como "El Doctor" en el equipo de Minnesota.
