00:00Elon Musk's Twitter takeover has gone anything but smoothly, beginning with massive layoffs,
00:05a rocky Twitter blue takeoff, and multiple outages. But it seems he's not done trying
00:09to get Twitter where he wants it, telling those at the World Government Summit in Dubai
00:13he's looking to stay on as CEO for the foreseeable future.
00:30So, when will that be? Well, he isn't quite sure just yet, but added this at the end of the
00:34interview.
00:50This is in contrast to what he had said near the end of last year, writing on Twitter that he
00:54was
00:54ready to step down, quote, as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job, saying
00:59all Twitter needs is the software and servers team. However, the recent spate of Twitter
01:03outages, something that's a big no-no for social media platforms, proves that's not the case.
01:08That tweet came shortly after Musk ran a poll asking users if he should step down,
01:12one that most on the platform replied, they think he should.
