00:00I'm on the west side of Woodward right now. Active flames continue to burn and it appears there's a downed
00:06power pole just at the apex of the fire where it began.
00:10That may have been a sign of where this thing started, but you can see a lot of crews that
00:14are out here waiting to battle any flames that pop up.
00:17Active flames there in the south side of Woodward.
00:20Even some structures being threatened out here on the south side.
00:23You can see those massive flames going up when they hit the dry vegetation out there, including trees.
00:30It looks like it has three different hot spots, one very close to the far south side of Woodward.
00:35And then also on the eastern flank, you can see firefighters are battling the eastern side of the blaze on
00:42the downwind side.
00:43And these were driven by 45 to 50 mile an hour winds out here.
00:47It sparked up very quickly southwest of Woodward, overspread the south side of town, threatening homes, structures, livestock out there
00:56as well.
00:57And even though the winds are subsiding a little bit as the boundary layer decouples, still plenty strong and relative
01:03humidity value is very low.
01:05And a lot of dry fuels out here to keep these fires going.
01:09So I am well to the south of this wildfire looking off to the north.
01:13Most of the roads are closed.
01:14A lot of people on the path of this fire have evacuated and are on hills outside of town watching
01:20this fire burn through the south side of Woodward.
