00:00So we've had a fire in an industrial unit overnight.
00:03It's an engineering business within the industrial complex.
00:07The complex itself houses a number of occupancies, an engineering business, another business
00:12that services the mines, and a residential occupancy.
00:16The fire itself damaged a large area inside that business.
00:20It's got a mezzanine level on top which has totally collapsed.
00:23Firefighters worked for a number of hours to bring the fire under control in challenging
00:27conditions.
00:28There were various gas cylinders in the fire that they had to contend with, including
00:32acetylene, argon, LPG.
00:36Some of those were exploding at the height of the fire and firefighters had to deal with
00:39that.
00:40They did manage to get access to the fire.
00:42They had to cut some holes in industrial doors.
00:44They went inside in intense conditions to bring that fire under control and contain it
00:50to the industrial unit.
00:51It did unfortunately spread to the residential unit next door and there's been significant
00:55damage on the other side to the mining business.
00:58We did evacuate a number of premises around this fire due to smoke from the fire as a precaution,
01:04and all those people have been allowed back into their house.
01:10All those people have been allowed back into their holes.
