00:00That type of year in the NFL, meaning post-Super Bowl here,
00:03teams already looking at 2026.
00:05New head coaches, Joe, new general managers, and new directions here.
00:08And we start in South Florida, as we've talked multiple times already on the show.
00:12Big news coming down.
00:13One of the best wide receivers over the past decade in the NFL was Tyree Kill.
00:16You couldn't stop him on the field.
00:18Wide open, every play, and a big-name player.
00:20But now you're 32 years old, coming off a devastating injury.
00:24The Miami Dolphins said, thank you for everything, Cheetah.
00:27Here's the door.
00:28Yeah, well, because Miami was not going to gift you a whole lot of money there,
00:34an expiring contract, if you were still on the roster by March 1st.
00:41So, listen, there's a lot of rumors.
00:43There's a lot of thought that maybe a reunion with Mahomes and Andy Reid in Kansas City
00:49could be a possibility.
00:51Somebody is going to give him a contract.
00:53Somebody is going to sign him, Donnie.
00:55The only question is who.
00:56And I doubt very much he's going to want to go anywhere where they're rebuilding anything.
01:00So, we'll see what happens here with Tyreek.
01:03I don't think we've heard the last of them.
01:06Hard to find really good wide receivers.
01:08Well, healthy ones that can still dominate.
01:09But also hard to find edge rushers here.
01:11Chubb wasn't bad for Miami last year.
01:13And they still felt the need to let him go, despite having close to 10 sacks last year.
01:18And the savings on the cap, Joe, I think it's only maybe $5, $6, $7 million.
01:21But apparently, they're just looking to clean house.
01:24Veteran voices, out the door, new rebrand, incoming.
01:28Yeah, it was funny.
01:30Miami got him back in 2022.
01:33And they traded a first and a fourth round pick.
01:37And also, Chase Edmonds.
01:38Remember that name to the Broncos?
01:41Yeah.
01:42It was a five-year, $110 million contract with Miami.
01:47Yeah, no, that's not going to work.
01:49Because he is absolutely.
01:50Although, listen, he had eight and a half sacks and eight tackles for a loss two years ago.
01:55But it has not been great for Miami ever since here.
01:59But now, listen, as a hired gun, somebody, you know, edge rushers like this, Donnie,
02:05somebody is going to grab him.
02:07Maybe the Bears.
02:08You know, somebody that could use Dallas wouldn't shock me.
02:11You know, teams like that that could use a little extra help here on the defensive side.
02:16How about this story here?
02:17Brown safety.
02:18Ronnie Hickman was a victim of assault early Monday morning at a New York City hotel
02:22and treated for minor injuries at an area hospital.
02:24Later released, he's now home resting with his family.
02:27The New York Post reported Hickman was jumped by a crew of thugs at a trendy Lower East Side hotel.
02:33Oh, no.
02:35Yeah, yeah, at 4 a.m., Donnie, at 4 a.m., as he was walking into the trendy hotel.
02:42Yeah, so how does that work?
02:43What do you think might have been said or happened on the way to the hotel there at 4 a
02:48.m.?
02:49That's what I'm wondering.
02:50Now, also, could he have been in line at one of the free grocery stores
02:54and got beat up because he cut in line?
02:55Never know.
02:56It's New York City.
02:57Things can happen all the time.
02:58At 4 a.m.?
02:59Nothing good happens, Joe, at 4 a.m.
03:01Be home, be tucked in, and relax here.
03:03The NFL, it is a business show.
03:05Every single day feels like it means something, and it's designed that way.
03:083-65, 7 days to the combine, 21 days to a free agency, 41 days to the annual meeting, 66
03:15days to the draft, 86 days to the schedule release.
03:18Training camp, only 147 days away and 206 days away from the 2026 season, Joe.
03:251-47 feels like a lot, but that is going to fly.
03:28Before you know it, me and Joe are going to be talking about, oh, look who showed up at training
03:32camp today.
03:33Can't wait for that.
03:35Tick-tock, tick-tock here, Donnie.
03:38And again, March 1st is a big date because of, you know, if you're still on the team, still on
03:43the roster, you've got bonuses and everything else coming your way.
03:46So there could still be some guys that all of a sudden are going to be available to be signed
03:53here as teams decide to hit the reset button, and it's not just Miami.
03:58It's Tag Tuesday in the NFL, Joe.
04:01NFL team's eligible to put the tags on the guys they don't think they might be able to resign.
04:05But understand this.
04:06The tag means you are really bad at your job as an NFL franchise because you tie up way too
04:10much money in a single player here.
04:13Hint, Jerry Jones does it every year, and that's why the Cowboys stink.
04:16Let's see if Kenneth Walker, Super Bowl MVP, slaps that tag on him.
04:20I don't think that's going to happen, though, Joe.
04:21I don't.
04:22Well, I don't think it's going to happen either because Schneider has already proven that that's not necessarily how he
04:29rolls here.
04:30But, yeah, there are going to be some questions here, and I do think he's number one for Seattle to
04:37get it done,
04:38and he just earned himself a whole lot of money this past season there with Seattle, that's for sure.
04:43These are the information notes that we need to see, and we have to keep making them public.
04:48When the teams, players, talk about the ownership group, the head coaches, and the training staff, I want to hear
04:53it.
04:54Talking about the Buffalo Bills here.
04:55How about this?
04:55The union dropped the club in the overall rankings from previous years because issues that were raised by players that
05:02have not been addressed.
05:03Some of those issues are the current training staff is inadequate to help them recover,
05:08and travel continues to be the worst part of their experience because they do not have a comfortable amount of
05:12space when traveling,
05:14and the travel schedule itself is a source of significant dissatisfaction.
05:18You know, like, you look at this and be like, hey, guys, it's a struggling company.
05:22You're lucky over here.
05:23Like, we can barely even get a bus to run.
05:25Like, if we get more money, we'll have it.
05:26No, that is a billion-dollar organization with a billion-dollar owner that goes, I just built myself a palace
05:33next door.
05:34Damn you if you want to be healthy on a flight here.
05:37Come on.
05:38It's kind of crazy, right, Donnie?
05:41But judging from the decisions that were made by Pagoula and company there,
05:47does it really shock you that the Buffalo Bills players expressed significant dissatisfaction with the traveling aspect of it here?
05:57So it doesn't shock me.
05:59You spent all that money for a stadium that nobody really asked for, which looks half like what the Ralph
06:05used to be.
06:05But, hey, congratulations.
06:07Let's make sure the Buffalo Bills players are as uncomfortable as possible.
06:12Unreal.
06:12Yeah, like, you're the team owner.
06:14Don't you treat it like you're supposed to have family?
06:15That doesn't mean, like, everybody gets paid a ton of money here because you still have to run it like
06:18a business.
06:19But when you want your players on the field to be at their best, doesn't it feel good as an
06:23owner?
06:23Like, man, I'm worth so much money.
06:25Hey, Josh, what do you guys need?
06:26Hey, you know what would be nice, Mr. Pagoula?
06:27Can you get, like, you don't even have to get us a new plane.
06:29Can you just rent us a new plane on those weekends where you have those long flights with extra seats?
06:33It's a ton deal, man.
06:33What do you want?
06:34Great Wi-Fi on there?
06:35Tops at every seat.
06:36You got it, man.
06:37And how about this?
06:37Coach, when I come into the locker room after a long day of practice, like, the air conditioner isn't that
06:42good.
06:42You know what?
06:42You know what?
06:43We're going to get the best air conditioning unit you could possibly have when you're out there training.
06:47It's just simple adjustments to make your players better here.
06:50But how about this?
06:50The new stadium, work has been suspended.
06:53Oh, no.
06:54Did something collapse?
06:55No.
06:55There's been graffiti in certain secure locations that they have to check on now.
07:01What does that even mean?
07:02What are the people jumping into the actual stadium and spray painting in there?
07:06And now you can't complete your work?
07:08Stop.
07:08Come on.
07:10Like, what are we talking about here?
07:12I don't even know what any of that means, Donnie.
07:13Like, seriously?
07:14You don't have, like, single, like, what are they even talking about, man?
07:17I mean, just the level of dysfunction in some of these spots is just, it's head-scratching, Donnie.
07:23It really is.
07:24By the way, I believe this next story from NFL Rumors account here.
07:28Bill's Josh Allen is the highest-selling jersey in USA and Canada last season.
07:31I got a Josh Allen jersey on my wall, and I'm not even a fan of the Buffalo Bills.
07:35So I bought into it, and there you go.
07:37Yeah, listen, that should be the least shocking story of the day there, Donnie.
07:42No kidding, and that's why there were a lot of people very upset where, unfortunately,
07:48they couldn't get out of the postseason there.
07:52He would have been a ratings bonanza there if he would have been able to make it to this
07:57year's Super Bowl, big time.
07:59Like, the common fan.
08:01Like, we're not the common fans.
08:02We're going to watch the Super Bowl, enjoy it, and handicap it anyway.
08:04But the common fan just wants to be like, oh, I heard that guy's name, or that's a big-time
08:07superstar, specifically at the quarterback position, and we certainly did not get that in the
08:11Super Bowl here.
08:12Maybe next year, Josh can make it, and on a more comfortable plane, they can fly out
08:16to, where's the Super Bowl next year, L.A.?
08:18Yeah, come on, look at that, L.A.?
08:19Look, the team doesn't want to fly on a cramp plane to L.A. from Buffalo, man.
08:23Make it happen here.
08:24John Harbaugh, he's making it happen in New York.
08:26Did you know, Joe, since 2008, this is the first time he's able to build his entire staff?
08:31And by the way, I got questions on his entire staff.
08:34Maybe he should have been since 2008, because the staff he built, questioned it already, Joe.
08:40Interesting, right?
08:41But listen, you want to give a guy a benefit of the doubt that has this kind of track record,
08:46and I'll do it.
08:46I mean, but listen, he's in the New York market now, which means when it doesn't work out,
08:52you know where the finger's going to be pointed, Donnie.
08:55So hopefully, it's smooth sailing, at least early on for him and his new coaching staff.
09:00Most cap space in the NFL, you know what team that is?
09:03The Tennessee Titans, who just did a rebrand themselves.
09:05For what reason, I don't know, but they are getting a new stadium.
09:08But understand this.
09:09It's fun to have a lot of cap space.
09:11But you know what that means a lot?
09:12Just overpaying for players that you just have more money than the other team.
09:16And you go, what actually happened here?
09:18Why did I spend all that money?
09:19Good luck, Tennessee.
09:20Spend it wisely.
09:21We'll be right back after this break.
