00:00You know, we joked about the past couple of years,
00:02talking about the trade deadline for 20, 30 years,
00:04which was non-existent.
00:05But now we're starting to see some trades come through
00:07and the questions will come up.
00:090-3 football teams probably won't make the playoffs,
00:11specifically with high-priced veterans here,
00:13and maybe a coach that could be on the move as well.
00:15Focus on the Miami Dolphins and Tyree Kill.
00:17A lot of teams around the NFL love to have an explosive wide receiver.
00:20But, Cap, talk to us about it's not just so easy to acquire the attempt.
00:24Sometimes with Tyree Kill, the off-field issues,
00:26the amount of money dealing there,
00:27is there a chance that Tyree Kill could be moved
00:29over the next couple of weeks if the Dolphins continue to struggle?
00:33Yeah, look, here's the situation with Tyree Kill.
00:36He's got some just what we're calling accusations
00:39because that's what's out there.
00:40The NFL's looking into it from his estranged wife,
00:43and that's certainly something that clubs are wary about.
00:46They have to know if you're going to trade for a player, Donnie,
00:48are they going to have him?
00:49Is Lee going to take him off the field?
00:51They're not there yet.
00:52But if you're going to make a trade for that player,
00:53you've got to know that you're going to have him.
00:54Now, he'll turn 32 in March.
00:58His salary for next season, all of the money,
01:01the total money of 36 million is not guaranteed.
01:04So if a club trades for him, Donnie,
01:06they could move on from him by releasing him after a season.
01:09And by the way, the thought around the league
01:11is it won't cost you very much to acquire him.
01:13If he is traded by the late October deadline,
01:17you're looking at probably a third or fourth round pick at worst.
01:20It's just because of the clubs acquiring him would have leverage
01:25because they know that Dolphins will be very open to moving him.
01:28If indeed they're 0-3, by the way.
01:310-3 means you have less than a 3% chance to make the playoffs
01:34over the last 35 years.
01:36Obviously, they're not going to go anywhere.
01:37But yeah, they would have motivation to trade Tyree Kill.
01:41But the contract for this year is very tradable.
01:45If you look at the cash that he's owed, just under $29 million,
01:48the Dolphins right now have already paid him $17 million.
01:51He's already earned that.
01:52It's the $10 million base salary plus some per-game roster bonuses.
01:56That will be prorated by the base salary by the time you trade him.
02:00So it's actually a very tradable contract,
02:02and that's why it shouldn't be – you shouldn't have to give up much for him.
02:05But the issue is can you trust the player?
02:07You've got to feel comfortable with it.
02:08And you're right, Donnie.
02:09If they're 2-7, 2-8 by the trade deadline,
02:14they're obviously going to try to move.
02:15No matter what they've said to reporters privately,
02:17because you don't want to give away leverage,
02:20obviously they'll have plenty of motivation to move the player.
02:22I don't want to do anything.
02:24I don't want toorrhate them.
02:25I don't want to get along.
02:25You don't want to answer them.
02:26These are the durchaus who they depend on the armor.
02:27I lovely to intern to do than them.
02:28You're right.
02:29So we need to lead to device.
02:40Remember, there's a lot to playhouse,
02:41because there's many minds,
02:42because you don't want to hire them for further time.
02:45But it's called the duh-ten.
02:45There's like a helpful tool.
02:47How are you negotiating with gambling?
02:48You're disgusting.
02:49You're really ugly.
