The 1988 TECMO beat 'em up side scroller arcade game Ninja Gaiden may contain predictive references & easter eggs to the past & future Japanese comics & animation based on Monkey Punch's Lupin III (Lupin The 3rd / Lupin Sansei).

- Ayane is a character introduced in the 1996 TECMO fighting game series DEAD OR ALIVE. She was made a supporting character in Ninja Gaiden revival series in 2004.
- Ayane was voiced by seiyuu Wakana Yamazki, she later voiced Ran Mouri in the 2013 animated film Detective Conan VS Lupin III.
- The 1996 LUPIN III animated film was also entitled DEAD OR ALIVE.
- Spoiler Alert: At the end of the 3rd round of Ninja Gaiden arcade (set in the Las Vegas casino area) Ryu Hayabusa fights The Nanto Otokotachi. These masked acrobats appear hunched over with metal claws on their gloves. I found their appearance similar to the assassins shown in the 1979 Hayao Miyazaki-directed Lupin III anime film The Castle Of Cagliostro.
- At the end of round 4 another Lupin III reference may appear, this time to the subject of a FUTURE work: The 1995 animated film Lupin III: Farewell to Nostradamus. Here, a relief of "real world" French prophet Michel De Nostradamus is carved into the rock wall of the Grand Canyon. (The enemy cult in the story is also based around Nostradamus and led by his descendant)
- Ninja Gaiden (arcade) & Lupin III: Kutabare! Nostradamus are both set in the year of 1999.

00:00We're talking about knowledge of the future in movies, YouTube channel, Easter Egg Psychic.
00:05In a previous video, I mentioned some possible Easter Egg references to the Lupin the Third anime movies
00:14that may be present in the 1988 Tecmo arcade game Ninja Gaiden.
00:21Just to briefly recap, the third round bosses, the Nanto Otokotachi, mass acrobats with metal claws.
00:30I thought it's similar to the assassins shown in the Lupin 3 movie The Castle Cagliostro from 1979 directed by
00:40Hayao Miyazaki.
00:41Ninja Gaiden arcade contains many visual representations of the 16th century French seer Michel de Nostradamus.
00:50The 1995 Lupin the Third movie was entitled Kutabari Nostradamus and also dealt with this prophet.
00:59That Lupin film and the Ninja Gaiden arcade game were set in the year 1999.
01:05This video will mention some information related to Dead or Alive.
01:11This fighting game series published by Koei Tecmo was hugely popular like 25 years ago.
01:20developed by Team Ninja.
01:22The first installment was out in 1996.
01:27One very important connection to Ninja Gaiden is the character Ayane,
01:34who debuted as a hidden unlockable character in the PSX port of the original game.
01:42She's been in all of the sequels.
01:43Now, Ayane was included in the Ninja Gaiden revival game series from 2004.
01:52Ayane was voiced by Wakanda Yamazaki, who voiced Ron Mori in the 2013 animated film Lupin the Third vs. Detective
02:04Conan.
02:04Interestingly, the 1996 Lupin the Third movie, also titled Dead or Alive, this was actually directed by mangaka Monkey Punch.
02:16My YouTube channel is Easter Egg Psychic.
02:18There I go back and look at movies and television from the past.
02:21I analyze these for possible references to future media.
02:25These may appear in the form of anecdotes, idioms, anagrams.
02:29Hidden in the subtext of the work in question, I also use an unconventional method where I look at the
02:35likenesses of the actors.
02:38And what I've found is you can take the likenesses, match these up to some of the anecdotal items,
02:44and show past, present, and future information about actors and other personalities
02:50that may resemble the personalities in the movie or television episode that you're watching.
02:57My email contact is easteregguy, that's G-U-Y, at yahoo.com.
03:04Thanks for watching.
