00:01okay cool yes I wanted to give the Pablo Lopez update today as everyone knows he
00:07left his live BP early yesterday after the second pitch in the third up and
00:11went for an MRI in the afternoon that MRI was read yesterday by dr. camp and
00:16our orthopedic team unfortunately that that MRI shows significant tearing to
00:20his UCL and his elbow so as a result we need to work through a number of steps
00:25here including second opinion which we're working through with with dr.
00:29Meister's office right now but surgery is very much on the table and as we work
00:33through that you know depending on regardless of exactly what procedure it
00:37is if we do go down the surgical route if Pablo goes down the surgical route he
00:41would miss the entire 2026 season so obviously that's really disappointing
00:45news and really feel for for Pablo as as everyone knows his work ethic how much he
00:51cares about his body and his preparation you know is second to none and you know
00:56huge blow for him and he's understandably quite disappointed but we'll work through
01:00the steps here and understand where dr. Meister's at and make sure we have
01:04everything lined up and as he kind of recovers this week and lets things settle
01:08down some additional notes you know just for additional context that MRI did show
01:15that his flexor strain from the end of last season on the fielding play was
01:18totally healed so this is a separate issue and you know as a result of his contract
01:24extension back in 2023 and that issue at the end of last year we have multiple
01:29images of his elbow along the way and the 23 and 25 ones looked quite similar but you
01:35know this one shows that that degradation and it's an unfortunate reality with you
01:39know him originally having Tommy John surgery 12 years ago and the reality of
01:43those the the shelf life of of those ligaments you just never know when
01:47these things could happen so that's the update and happy to take any questions
01:51here
