00:00Spanish doctors went on strike across the country Monday in response to the
00:04government's proposed reform of the so-called framework statute which
00:08regulates working conditions for public. The strike was joined by the sector's
00:15main trade organizations such as the Spanish Confederation of Medical
00:19Unions and the Andalusia Medical Union which demand their own collective
00:23agreement and improved working conditions due to overwork and
00:28professional exo-station. Unions also demand that doctors maintain a
00:33differentiated professional and salary classification based around their
00:37training and responsibility.
