00:26I guess Reese, but that just doesn't seem to be a thing.
00:30The attraction to Arvel could play linebacker, could be a pure edge rusher.
00:35There's a lot of buzz around Reese out of Ohio State.
00:38As we sit here in February, I'm buying it.
00:42I'm not. I'm going to sell it at 55%.

00:46I don't think Arvel Reese is a great fit for the New York Jets.
00:49If we're looking, they're going to go defense.
00:51And I understand the athleticism.
00:53He's a tweener in the respect he could be utilized
00:56as an outside linebacker and an edge rusher.
00:59But if you want a game changer, I would take a shot on David Bailey
01:02or, more importantly, Reuben Bain.
01:05You know, I think Reuben Bain looks like a Jared Verse type to me.
01:08And I think if you're looking to get a mentality on the defensive side of the ball
01:12in 2026, year number two, with Aaron Glenn,
01:17you go for either Bailey or you go for Reuben Bain.
01:19I would not waste a pick on Arvel Reese.
01:21I think he's best maybe on another team.
01:24But this team has multiple needs, in my opinion, on the defensive side of the ball.
01:28And you want a game changer, a pure, legitimate edge rusher.
01:32I don't get that excited about Arvel Reese, too, with the Jets.
01:36I do get excited if they take Bailey or they take, in fact, Reuben Bain.
01:40My pushback is I think that the Jets right now are more of a blank canvas, Joe.
01:47So I guess the draw to Arvel Reese seems to be,
01:51he might be worth the pick even if he's not an edge rusher, right?
01:56Where perhaps that, you know, linebacker skill set can translate enough
02:01to still be the captain of our defense.
02:03And it just feels like that's going to win out.
02:09In a draft that, and you'll see this within this first round, okay?
02:16There are guys, there are certain players that people are very excited about.
02:21But then there's, oh, positional value questions.
02:23Like Caleb Downs and Jeremiah Love, who will feature inside this top 10.
02:27But we don't really see a lot of safeties go 2-3-4.
02:31Running backs, we've seen, it's a little bit, it's harder to justify
02:37taking these guys further up the board, right?
02:41But if Reese is going to become this consensus special player,
02:46now I will say this too, though, just to be very clear, right?
02:51It's February, so we're kind of following the breadcrumbs of it all.
02:54It does feel like Reese could be moved off this spot.
02:57If somebody falls in love with a Reuben Bain or a David Bailey.
