00:00All right, let's talk about another unserious NFL team, and that, of course, is the Miami Dolphins.
00:05They are now 1-6. They got road-dogged by the Cleveland Browns, and I'm happy for the fine
00:10people at Cleveland. Nice to get a big win, like 15 interceptions, running the ball all over the
00:16place. Gabriel looked fine, and they put a 30-burger on the Dolphins. And then after the game, I think
00:23we have it for you guys. Here's another post-game gibberish press conference from the embattled
00:31head coach Mike McDaniel of the 1-6 Miami Dolphins. You listen to this to tell me if this is the guy
00:37you want running your franchise moving forward. Check this out. There's a lot of guys that will
00:42have an important work week because we're not, I mean, if you are negatively affecting the football
00:50team routinely, I don't have a choice but to, you know, assess a different player, and I have to
00:59coach a lot better as well. So we need, we're going to find out who and what we're made of.
01:07Well, I can tell you what he's talking about right there. He's talking about Tua. Tua is negatively
01:12impacting the Miami Dolphins, throwing the ball all over the place negatively, had a bunch of
01:17interceptions yesterday. He's now got 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions on the year. And what Mike
01:23McDaniel is telling you is that you gave 250 to the wrong dude. That's what he's telling you, even
01:29though he was supposed to be the whiz kid that got the most out of Tua's weak arm. Obviously,
01:34Tyree Kill goes down. That changes things a lot, even though Waddle's still a stud. But you are looking
01:39at the opportunity now for a guy like Mike McDaniel, who should have been fired today. And one of the
01:45reports I saw out of Miami is that Stephen Ross, the owner of the Dolphins, still likes him a lot
01:49and doesn't want to fire him. Of course, you could have his hand forced. I don't know what,
01:54if one and six doesn't force your hand and zero playoff wins in five years doesn't force your hand
02:01to fire the head coach, wouldn't these rambling, incoherent press conferences force your hand?
02:07If you find out that players aren't attending players only meetings either on time or at all
02:14showing a complete disrespect to their quarterback and other captains and the head coach as well,
02:20isn't that enough to tell you that you need a new voice and not a players friendly type of head
02:26coach? Because there's two types of head coaches. There's the soft players friendly guy, the guy that
02:31wears capris and listens to Biggie Smalls because he wants the guys to like him. And then there's the
02:36taskmasters. Yeah. Now, neither way is perfect. I could give you examples of guys that have won
02:41or lost on both sides of that spectrum, but four plus years into the players friendly head coach
02:48has produced zero and now he's rambling and incoherent at press conferences. It's clear that it doesn't work.
