In his last outing at the 1979 Monaco Grand Prix, a James Hunt disillusioned with Grand Prix racing decided to end his career on his own terms, pulling a small trick to make it seem like he just had a natural mechanical DNF. The car shown at the end of the broadcast was Riccardo Patrese's Arrows, which retired in the same lap due to mechanical issues. Hunt would be 1 among 12 drivers who retired with a DNF in the race. The Walter Wolf outfit was technically a successor to the original Williams team through acquisition.
