00:00:00All right, people, hope you're here any second. Let's wrap this up, get it done smoothly,
00:00:18get me out of here at a reasonable time. Hello, everyone. Mr. Kilroy is here. Hi, Tom Kilroy.
00:00:32Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. How was your trip, sir? Good trip. Hello, Mr. Kilroy. I had just a couple
00:00:38things I wanted to cover with you. First, it's going to take us a little bit of time to get
00:00:41everything set up, not too much time. I promise we're going to keep this simple. Is there anything
00:00:46that I can do for you? You have coffee? Yeah, I definitely have some coffee. I will get
00:00:51on that for you. Sir, if you'll follow me this way, that'd be great. Mr. Kilroy, how's it
00:00:58going? I'll be your interviewer today. I just got to take a quick phone call. I'll be right
00:01:01with you.
00:01:10Oh, I didn't even realize that the camera was rolling. Okay.
00:01:16All right, sir. Try not to chip too much when you're answering questions. We don't want
00:01:21to stop halfway through and scratch. If you feel uncomfortable or if you want to readjust,
00:01:27just let us know and we'll fix it. All good? Sounds good. Ready to rock. Should I keep my answers
00:01:38short? Or? Yeah, just be yourself. Thomas Kilroy interview? Take one.
00:01:45Good evening. Why don't you tell us a little about who you are and who you're representing today? I'm Thomas Kilroy, and I represent the families of Amy Hanson, Randy Harris, Emma Grove, and I represent the families of Amy Hanson,
00:02:05Randy Harrison, Randy Harris, Emma Grove, and Peter Moore in the ongoing litigation against the Fairfield County Sheriff's Department.
00:02:12So why exactly are you releasing this footage? We're releasing the footage because we think it might bring justice to the missing four and perhaps relieve some of the pain and suffering that their families have experienced.
00:02:26Four internet personalities began production on an episode of their reality series, The Cryptid Project. Randy Harris, Emma Grove, Pete Moore, and Amy Hanson were young, energetic, and enthusiastic. The four vanished without a trace.
00:02:55They were more than just content creators. They were investigators.
00:03:02Four creators, four truth seekers who vanished last year in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
00:03:07What were they doing out in Fairfield County, Connecticut, you ask? They were hunting a werewolf, or they were at least following a werewolf story. The details are spotty on this.
00:03:17Cops. The cops. The cops are involved in some way, some shape, or some form, you know.
00:03:26Fairfield County investigators collected their belongings from their cabin and stored them as evidence. Families were left baffled, left without answers as to where their loved ones had gone.
00:03:39Now, I'm not trying to stir up any panic, but four people don't just disappear. Something's not right here. And whatever happened out there, it might have caught them off guard.
00:03:50The families obtained legal representation, and after a year-long court battle, the belongings were relinquished.
00:03:58They sifted through the belongings themselves, unknown to them what they would find. Along with clothes, toiletries, and camping supplies, they also discovered the camera used by the four, containing the footage they filmed while producing their last episode.
00:04:17But here's the part that keeps me up at night. Their footage was recovered. Now let that sink in. Whatever they saw, whatever followed them, whatever made them disappear, it's on tape.
00:04:32I'm making this video specifically for Thomas Kilroy, asking you to please release the footage from their last ill-fated show.
00:04:46This is the last known footage of the Fairfield County Four.
00:05:01If there was a couple of perpetrated by the Fairfield County officials, why would they have given this evidence over in the first place when I just made it disappear?
00:05:09Well, I have no idea about their motivations. Maybe somebody felt guilty about a botched investigation.
00:05:16Perhaps it was an oversight. Whatever the reason, we're grateful that they did honor the judge's order.
00:05:24So is there anything the audience needs to know before we present the footage?
00:05:33Just watch the footage with an open mind. No expectations.
00:05:37Just watch it once.
00:05:44Hey, hey, hey. Help me. Help me.
00:05:54Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:06:00Oh, no.
00:06:22All right.
00:06:23It was good.
00:06:24Test, test, test.
00:06:28Alright.
00:06:32This is the final camera test for the season finale
00:06:36of the Cryptid Projects. Season finale?
00:06:40Fuck. This has been a crazy year.
00:06:44Okay, well, today we are heading to Fairfield
00:06:48County, Connecticut. It's about a six hour drive. I'm going to pick up everyone here in a second.
00:06:52And we are going to look for the elusive
00:06:56Fairfield County werewolf. It's a story I grew up hearing all the time, so...
00:07:02Bags are packed.
00:07:06I think it's everything.
00:07:12Let's see how this goes.
00:07:16Amy! Amy, come on, let's go!
00:07:18I'm coming, Randy. You're the one that's late.
00:07:20Okay, listen.
00:07:22Let's just go.
00:07:24Are M&P good to go?
00:07:26Yeah, they're in the car.
00:07:28Okay, cool. Wait, why are you filming this?
00:07:30It's a documentary. You filmed everything.
00:07:32You are such a nerd.
00:07:34Okay.
00:07:40Alright, what the fuck took so long?
00:07:42Randy was late.
00:07:44Okay.
00:07:46Don't worry about me, it was you.
00:07:48I don't know.
00:07:50Okay, literally, all I had to do is put my earrings in.
00:07:52Okay.
00:07:53To be fair.
00:07:54Where the fuck are we going?
00:07:56Where are we going?
00:07:57Yeah.
00:07:58Fairfield County.
00:07:59Yes.
00:08:00Alright, somebody's door is still open.
00:08:02Oh, fuck.
00:08:04Randy, your van sucks, dude.
00:08:06Why have...
00:08:08Just give me the camera and you try.
00:08:12I think we should let Emma do the camera work this time.
00:08:15Yeah, yeah, give her the camera work.
00:08:17Do you guys really want to see that?
00:08:19I actually would love it.
00:08:23It would definitely be something.
00:08:24The turn radius on this thing is just trash.
00:08:27I really think for the next one, we need to get one of those big ass camper ones.
00:08:32Yeah.
00:08:33I would not be opposed.
00:08:34Yes.
00:08:35Yes.
00:08:36Yeah, we could.
00:08:37What time is the GPS say we're going to get there?
00:08:40Um, you just said, where are we going again?
00:08:44Fairfield County.
00:08:45Oh my god.
00:08:46Okay, but that's a big...
00:08:47We've been planning this for months, dude.
00:08:48I need an exact address.
00:08:50Okay.
00:08:51An entire county, we can go anywhere.
00:08:52Wait, wait, wait, but we have so many fun things that Emma and I have planned.
00:08:56For us to stop at along the way.
00:08:58We had some stops.
00:08:59Yes, we had a couple cool stops.
00:09:00You guys are already making me want to smoke.
00:09:03Jesus Christ.
00:09:04Oh my god.
00:09:05I thought you were going to quit, dude.
00:09:06Yeah.
00:09:07I literally thought...
00:09:08When did I ever say that?
00:09:10Literally the last time we filmed.
00:09:13Well...
00:09:14If you're going to smoke, can you at least roll the window down?
00:09:17Okay.
00:09:18We're going to be good.
00:09:19Okay.
00:09:20Tell me when I'm out.
00:09:23A little hot.
00:09:25Sound of good people.
00:09:26Hello?
00:09:27Hello?
00:09:28Hello?
00:09:29Brandy, am I out?
00:09:31Alright.
00:09:32Hold on.
00:09:33I'm going to play for this loud ass car.
00:09:36Am I out?
00:09:37Hold on.
00:09:38Hold on.
00:09:39Hold on.
00:09:40Yeah?
00:09:41Alright.
00:09:42Let's roll an intro.
00:09:43Peter, you're good to go there.
00:09:44Okay.
00:09:45Are we good?
00:09:46Yeah, on you.
00:09:47Alright.
00:09:48We're here in Fairfield County.
00:09:49We just arrived and we are at the West Cemetery.
00:09:50Spooky vibes.
00:09:51And we're here investigating the werewolf of Fairfield County.
00:09:54Now, these legends started around the 1700s, but that doesn't stop sightings from happening
00:09:55even in present day.
00:09:56And while the locals aren't so forthcoming about their stories and experiences, that doesn't
00:10:01stop any tourists from snapping pictures of some mysterious creature crossing roads, moving
00:10:07along in the woods, and prowling the dark tree lines.
00:10:09And we're lucky enough to be here on the night of a full moon.
00:10:10So, we are fully prepared to investigate these stories and finally put them to rest the legend
00:10:16of the Fairfield County werewolf.
00:10:17That was great.
00:10:18We got a loud ass car at the end there, but...
00:10:20I'm not sure if we're here.
00:10:21We're here.
00:10:22We're here.
00:10:23We're here.
00:10:24We're here.
00:10:25We're here.
00:10:26We're here.
00:10:27We're here.
00:10:28We're here.
00:10:29We're here.
00:10:30We're here.
00:10:31We're here.
00:10:32We're here.
00:10:33We're here.
00:10:34We're here.
00:10:35We're here.
00:10:36We're here.
00:10:37We're here.
00:10:38We've got a little ass car at the end there, but...
00:10:39I mean...
00:10:40Let's move on!
00:10:41It's fine.
00:10:42We knew this spot was like aw...
00:10:43Randy, you rollin'?
00:10:44Yeah.
00:10:45Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:10:46So, Emma found this place.
00:10:47I am so excited, because I completely forgot about this.
00:10:49You think that's the house?
00:10:51Yeah.
00:10:52Yeah.
00:10:53Yeah.
00:10:54The arch, like the little arch.
00:10:56The ribbon arch, yeah.
00:10:57So, what happened here?
00:10:59So, this is the Snedeker House.
00:11:01Yes.
00:11:02And it's the movie from the film Haunting in Connecticut.
00:11:05Yes.
00:11:06haunting in Connecticut. Creepy creepy creepy. Let me take a picture. That's so
00:11:10exciting. So how many people died here? Why is my camera not working? A few I think.
00:11:16Looks like people live there. I am sure people probably live there for
00:11:20sure. It's crazy. All right. All right. All right. Let's get the girls. I'm so excited right now.
00:11:49You sure you don't want sound on this? I don't. Can you do it? Can you do it? Can you do sound on this?
00:11:52I'll stop. Thank you everybody. This is so cool. I didn't bring sound. What did you say this post post?
00:12:01Cheerio for you. Yeah. Emma and me were like literally scouring like cool things for us to do
00:12:06and this is what we found. Yes. So excited. We're going to go check out some oddities and maybe get
00:12:11some more of the scoop on this werewolf. Yes. I'm so excited. There's no way somebody knows about the
00:12:18werewolf in this place. Oh my god. Oh my god. Is that a mummy? I am like obsessed.
00:12:29Welcome to Curio Mori. Yeah. Your shop is amazing. Oh my gosh. This place is absolutely incredible.
00:12:40Do you want to ask him if he knows anything? No. Yes. Sure. You might know something. Get that. Get that. Get that.
00:12:49I'm right now investigating the werewolf of Fairfield County and we're wondering do you know anything? Do you have any personal stories?
00:12:58Personal stories with the werewolf? Well I've heard a lot of stories. A lot of people that come in
00:13:03from the state you know they'll have their stories from their local town up near the Fairfield area
00:13:10Fairfield Litchfield Hills. That's the most haunted place in Connecticut. It's called the Litchfield Flap
00:13:17in that area. And the werewolf is one of those stories. The wild man which is Bigfoot supposedly.
00:13:27But again it's there's a grain of truth with everything. So we try to tell people what's
00:13:33strange and unusual in Connecticut. Yeah. And cryptids is definitely a thing that Connecticut's known for.
00:13:38Awesome. So you're hunting it. You're looking for it. A little bit of everything. A little bit of everything.
00:13:45So we do a show called The Cryptid Project and basically what we do is we go to different areas
00:13:48and we ask the locals and we kind of do our own little investigation. And this is the next one on
00:13:53the list. We're really excited because I love werewolves. We all love werewolves. And so Fairfield
00:13:57this this legend is one that kind of we just like really wanted to come to the area and check it out
00:14:03because it's a really cool legend so. It is. In Connecticut they call it the quiet corner. Yeah. You know
00:14:08not a lot of people like to talk about stuff but they know what's going on. It's just if you get
00:14:14them to talk about it you'll learn a lot of stuff. Oh my gosh thank you so much. We're gonna walk
00:14:21around. Go and explore. Do you mind if like we film a little bit. No absolutely. Feel free go ahead. Let me know if you have any questions.
00:14:27Oh my god thank you so much. Thank you. You're welcome. You're welcome. I'm so excited. My husband's
00:14:32gonna kill me because I'm gonna spend so much money. Oh look guys. Werewolves like these. They all should have batteries.
00:14:46Oh my god. Oh my god. Stop. There you go. Okay. Here you go.
00:15:01I am like literally geeking out guys. I love this. Let's go to the back. I bet there's some more creepy
00:15:05stuff in the back. Yeah. We got an ooh and aah. Yeah. Oh my god. It's a baby werewolf. Oh my god. No.
00:15:19It's so cute. I love that one. A vatican demon. Don't go. Oh god. Oh god. I pushed it.
00:15:33You should have done that.
00:15:39Ooh.
00:15:49You muscles. You want to hurry up a little bit. We got shit to do. You're fucking filming
00:16:02already. God. Yeah. I'm filming everything. You knew that. You made me bend my cigarette.
00:16:08That's not my fault. Come on. Hurry up. Get this shit in. I'm working on it. Doesn't look
00:16:15like it. The werewolf ain't going anywhere bro. Got to wait for the sun to go down anyway.
00:16:26It's going to be done. It's going to be down by the time you get this shit in.
00:16:30Ain't that the point? Oh my god.
00:16:35Can you just fuck off? Sorry.
00:16:41It's not too shocking.
00:16:42I know. I know.
00:16:43Hey.
00:16:46Do you need some milk with that?
00:16:48Yeah. You need some carry.
00:16:49Does it look like I need any help?
00:16:52Okay.
00:16:52Shut the fuck up.
00:16:54Oh fuck you.
00:16:57I got it.
00:16:58Are you sure?
00:16:59Yeah. Yeah. Just before I hit you in the face.
00:17:02Hey. Wait. Did you need some help?
00:17:09Wow.
00:17:13Who booked this place?
00:17:16Bigger doors.
00:17:22All right.
00:17:23So we finally made it and we are all moved in.
00:17:26Let's go check on how everyone's doing.
00:17:28How you guys feeling?
00:17:29Pretty good.
00:17:32Peter, what are you doing?
00:17:34What does it look like I'm doing?
00:17:35I don't fucking know.
00:17:36You want to do the sound?
00:17:37Here.
00:17:37No.
00:17:38Okay.
00:17:38Okay.
00:17:39No, it's fine.
00:17:39It's fine.
00:17:39It's fine.
00:17:41Jesus Christ.
00:17:42So we're all moved in.
00:17:44We're staying here for the next few days and we are going to head out into the town tomorrow,
00:17:48get some interviews, see what we can find, see if we can get down to the bottom of this
00:17:55whole werewolf shit.
00:17:58Amy.
00:18:00Yeah.
00:18:00How's it going?
00:18:01You excited?
00:18:02Yeah.
00:18:03So excited.
00:18:04Good.
00:18:05Good.

00:18:26Amy, can you look at the camera?
00:18:27I just want to check focus.

00:19:31For this past year.
00:19:33Um.

00:19:52And being back here is...
00:19:54It's hard, uh, but...
00:19:59I don't think I could have done it...
00:20:01Without you all by my side.
00:20:06So, um...

00:21:00We love you, Randy.
00:21:03Randy.
00:21:06Oh.
00:21:07The hell'd you put in this?
00:21:10I'm sorry.
00:21:12It's like the cheapest rum I've ever drank in my life.
00:21:15Guys.
00:21:15It was.
00:21:16It was.
00:21:17We couldn't plan this more perfectly.

00:21:44I got my lighter.
00:21:45Randy.
00:21:46Randy.
00:21:46How do you keep losing it?

00:21:51She might know something.
00:21:52Yeah, so hi.
00:21:53Hi.
00:21:54We're trying the Cryptid Project.
00:21:55We do a story about cryptids.
00:21:57And we're here filming about the werewolf life.
00:21:59Oh my god.
00:22:00The creature.
00:22:02Do you know anything about it?
00:22:05I can tell you about the creature.
00:22:08Have you had an experience?
00:22:10Oh, yes.
00:22:11Oh, yes.
00:22:12I'm sorry, mom and dad.
00:22:14Okay.
00:22:14Wait, hold on.
00:22:15Do you want to get this over and done?
00:22:17Yeah.
00:22:17Let's maybe do it over there.
00:22:19Yeah.
00:22:20Okay.
00:22:24Yeah, we can like do it right here because I feel like this is open.
00:22:27I get to be on TV.
00:22:28Yes.
00:22:28Okay, great.
00:22:29All right, what do I do?
00:22:30What do I do?
00:22:30What do I do?
00:22:31All right.
00:22:31So, um, guys, which way are we?
00:22:34We probably should.
00:22:36Hi.
00:22:38I think over this way probably, Randy.
00:22:40We might get a few of the cars, but I don't think we need to go.
00:22:44Nah, it should be fine.
00:22:46Oh, what's your name?
00:22:48Stacy.
00:22:48Stacy Wallace.
00:22:49Stacy Wallace.
00:22:50Yeah.
00:22:51Are you allergic to any adhesive or paper?
00:22:53Why are you asking me that?
00:22:54Because I'm going to like you.
00:22:55Oh, okay.
00:22:56Okay, I think actually the way that you are looks good.
00:23:00Yeah.
00:23:00Um, just a little bit closer and then, you know, we'll be set.
00:23:03Do I have anything in my teeth?
00:23:05Oh, no, you're good.
00:23:06Okay.
00:23:06No, you're good.
00:23:07I got so excited.
00:23:08No, that's so fun.
00:23:09You're like talking with us.
00:23:11Yes.
00:23:11Yes.
00:23:12Oh, yeah.
00:23:12Finally.
00:23:13Yes, finally.
00:23:13It's time.
00:23:14It's time.
00:23:15Is this pimple kind of coming?
00:23:17All right, we're rolling.
00:23:21All right.
00:23:22Sound is beating.
00:23:25How's the sound?
00:23:26We're getting a little bit of the traffic, but we're good on one.
00:23:30We're going to get a little bit of the wind.
00:23:30Okay.
00:23:31So.
00:23:31Testing, testing.
00:23:32Does that sound good?
00:23:33America sounds all right.
00:23:34Yeah, Pete, thanks.
00:23:35Oh, dude, what's your dog's name, man?
00:23:36Oh, this is Dottie.
00:23:38Dottie.
00:23:38Hey, Dottie.
00:23:39Hi, Dottie.
00:23:39Hi, Dottie.
00:23:39Hi, Dottie.
00:23:39Hi, Dottie.
00:23:40Hi, Dottie.
00:23:40Hi, Dottie.
00:23:41Hi, Dottie.
00:23:41Hi, Dottie.
00:23:41Hi, Dottie.
00:23:42Hi, Dottie.
00:23:42Hi, Dottie.
00:23:43Hi, Dottie.
00:23:43Bye, Dottie.
00:23:43Hurry up.
00:23:44Hurry up.
00:23:45We've got to get this.
00:23:45Come on.
00:23:45All right, sorry.
00:23:46Sorry, we've got dogs.
00:23:48All right, here we go.
00:23:50All right, on you.
00:23:51Cool.
00:23:52So we're standing here with local Stacy Wallace.
00:23:55Stacy, could you share your story that you told us earlier?
00:23:58Yes, of course.
00:23:59So I remember it was a very quiet night, and I was down at my parents' barn, you know,
00:24:05just making sure that it was all locked up, all the animals were quiet, everyone was safe.
00:24:10And then I heard, like, a low growl coming from the distance.
00:24:17So, of course, I looked up, and I saw this giant silhouette just in the shadows, and it was,
00:24:25I don't know, it was not like anything I'd ever seen before, you know?
00:24:28And then it took a couple of steps on two feet into this clearing about 300 yards away from me,
00:24:35and it was so tall and kind of, like, hunched over, and its fur even seemed to, like, glisten in the moonlight.
00:24:45I don't know.
00:24:46I was absolutely terrified, of course, but I just, I couldn't look away.
00:24:51And then it just kept prowling the parameter of this clearing before just disappearing into the shadows again.
00:25:00Of course, no one believed me the next day.
00:25:02I hope for that wind real quick.
00:25:06Okay, say that last bit again.
00:25:08No one believed me the next day, but I, like, told my mom and my dad,
00:25:13and they scolded me and said, oh, you should never talk about it again.
00:25:17So.
00:25:18Uh, hope for that bird.
00:25:22A lot of chirping.
00:25:23I'm worried about baby birds.
00:25:26I'm used to it.
00:25:26Okay, say that last thing again.
00:25:29So my mom and my dad, they scolded me.
00:25:31Thanks, mom and dad.
00:25:32And they just told me, oh, you should never, ever talk about it again.
00:25:35But I swear, I swear to God, I saw a creature that night.
00:25:38I did.
00:25:39And to this day, years and years later, I just, I never go outside by myself at night.
00:25:44So you never saw it again?
00:25:46No.
00:25:47Never.
00:25:48Stacy, thank you so much for taking the time to talk to us today and share your story.
00:25:54Of course.
00:25:56Could I also have you sign this for me real quick?
00:25:58All right.
00:25:58All right, that was great.
00:25:59Sure.
00:26:00Thank you so much.
00:26:01Of course.
00:26:02Did it sound okay with all the birds and everything?
00:26:04I got an autograph.
00:26:04I mean, it's nice to be able to do.
00:26:07Okay.
00:26:07I love your hair.
00:26:08Oh, thank you so much.
00:26:09I'll call my cousin for you guys.
00:26:11Oh, thank you so much, Stacy.
00:26:12Okay.
00:26:13Bye.
00:26:13Bye.
00:26:13Thank you so much again, Stacy.
00:26:15Nice meeting you.
00:26:15I know, I wasn't expecting it.
00:26:17It felt like this hot.
00:26:18I know.
00:26:18Do you think the werewolf walks these streets at night?
00:26:20Yeah.
00:26:21He's all alike.
00:26:22Hopefully it won't be hot when we do, like,
00:26:24Hey, watch out.
00:26:25Watch out.
00:26:26Watch out.
00:26:26Watch out.
00:26:33That's weird.
00:26:34Oh, my gosh.
00:26:37It's so cute.
00:26:38Watch out.
00:26:38You're going to bump into that.
00:26:41Randy, you're doing so good.
00:26:44It's so smooth.
00:26:45It's so smooth.
00:26:45Yeah.
00:26:46I'm really good at walking backwards.
00:26:47You are.
00:26:48You know, if nobody told me this place is called Fairfield County,
00:26:51I would say it's called Fairfield County.
00:26:53It just looks like that, you know?
00:26:54It's so cute, though.
00:27:01It just sucks that a lot of people don't want to talk to that.
00:27:03Hey, look.
00:27:05It's the werewolf.
00:27:06See him down there?
00:27:07See him?
00:27:08He's laying on the sidewalk.
00:27:10Let's go ask him some questions.
00:27:12Oh, no.
00:27:13You're in his hair.
00:27:18Randy, my man.
00:27:19Yeah.
00:27:21Is that camera getting heavy yet?
00:27:23No.
00:27:24I'll be fine.
00:27:24Who are those guys?
00:27:27Fucking weirdos.
00:27:29Fucking weirdos.
00:27:30Hey!
00:27:31Shut up.
00:27:35Wait.
00:27:36Does that say half moon?
00:27:38It says something.
00:27:41It's Kizmo.
00:27:43Oh.
00:27:44I was hungry.
00:27:45Maybe we should eat there.
00:27:46Half moon?
00:27:46Well, we don't know what it is.
00:27:48It's a coffee.
00:27:48It's a coffee and grow cafe.
00:27:50Oh, my God.
00:27:51We're starving.
00:27:52It might have a lighter.
00:27:54Coffee?
00:27:55I don't think they have a lighter.
00:27:56Oh, what is that?
00:27:57Oh, that's creepy.
00:27:59That's creepy.
00:27:59Oh.
00:28:04Randy, are you getting up?
00:28:06Hold on.
00:28:06Hold on.
00:28:09Sounds great.
00:28:13How's that sound?
00:28:13I mean, for a werewolf legend, are you kidding me, half moon?
00:28:19Like, let's be real.
00:28:23Oh, yeah.
00:28:24Oh, yeah.
00:28:25Yeah.
00:28:26Good.
00:28:27Good.
00:28:28Good.
00:28:29Hey.
00:28:30All right.
00:28:31Yeah.
00:28:31Good.
00:28:32We good?
00:28:33We good?
00:28:34We sounded good, Randy?
00:28:34Good.
00:28:35Peter?
00:28:35Yeah, yeah.
00:28:36We're good.
00:28:36Cool.
00:28:37So, we're here at a local spot called Vinny's Deli, and we're going to get some food,
00:28:43some lobster rolls, and see if maybe anyone has any, you know, things they want to tell
00:28:48us about the legend, and eat.
00:28:50Yeah.
00:28:51Get some lobster rolls.
00:29:00All right.
00:29:00Sound is speeding.
00:29:02We have a little bit of the restaurant noise, but I think you should be good.
00:29:04Yeah.
00:29:04Cool.
00:29:05We are set.
00:29:07You're going to go whenever.
00:29:08You want to do an intro?
00:29:09All right.
00:29:09Yeah.
00:29:10Hey, guys.
00:29:11We're here inside of Vinny's.
00:29:13We're just going to get a little sandwich, but also, we met Vivian and Lily here, who
00:29:17have a story to share with us about the werewolf.
00:29:20Come on through, Sheriff.
00:29:21Come on through.
00:29:22Charlie told us, one of our friends Charlie told us, that she saw it near her house.
00:29:26Yeah, that was around the time when Audrey Gibson went missing.
00:29:29Yeah.
00:29:30Did you guys go to school?
00:29:32Yeah.
00:29:33We did.
00:29:33Yeah.
00:29:34Is it like something, had a lot of people at your school seen it, too?
00:29:37I think so.
00:29:38I think so, yeah.
00:29:39Yeah.
00:29:39A lot of people have been talking about it, especially like running the football games
00:29:42at night.
00:29:44Yeah.
00:29:45Wow.
00:29:45Okay.
00:29:46Okay.
00:29:47You guys haven't had any personal experience.
00:29:49No, I haven't.
00:29:50No.
00:29:51What's going on?
00:29:52Are we talking about that werewolf?
00:29:53I'm going to put that werewolf on the menu if I hear one more thing about it.
00:29:57None of you guys belong here.
00:29:58You need a permit.
00:29:59You guys have to make sandwiches.
00:30:00What's going on here?
00:30:02Come on now.
00:30:05Let's just go.
00:30:07Thanks, girls.
00:30:09I can't believe we got anything, though.
00:30:14No, that's crazy.
00:30:15That was, I was not expecting that, so that's really nice.
00:30:19We got something.
00:30:21May not have been a lobster, but we got something.
00:30:24Yeah, but they knew the Gibbs girl.
00:30:25They did.
00:30:26So they obviously know what's going on with Audrey, and I feel like now at this point,
00:30:30everybody thinks it has to do with the werewolf, so.
00:30:33Yeah.
00:30:34Yeah.
00:30:34Yeah.
00:30:35I think we're on to something.
00:30:36I think so, too.
00:30:37I wonder if their subs were good.
00:30:39I know.
00:30:39I heard they're the best in town.
00:30:40They're probably the best.
00:30:41I literally wish we didn't get kicked out, because I want a lobster roll so bad.
00:30:44You think we should go back in and ask for one with the camera?
00:30:47Yeah, I think maybe we should go.
00:30:48I mean, I kind of want to.
00:30:49All right, Randy, you stay there.
00:30:51We'll go get the lobster.
00:30:52Yeah.
00:30:53Can I stay here with Randy, because I'm scared.
00:30:56I mean, I want a lobster roll.
00:31:00This is not.
00:31:02It's a, sorry, there's a boom out.
00:31:05Yeah, we did.
00:31:06It booms out.
00:31:06We are getting some, like, weed whacking or tree trimming out there.
00:31:14I think we can fix it in post.
00:31:15Yeah, I'm fine.
00:31:17All right, the sound is speeding.
00:31:20Candice, please take as long as you need.
00:31:23Oh, my, uh, Audrey used to, uh, walk the lane at night.
00:31:36Uh, she said it, uh, clear of anxieties.
00:31:41I can't remember saying how peaceful the night was.
00:31:52So, um, spring's coming since some of the years that Chris Winkley.
00:32:04Um, she, she didn't come back, um, but she went out.
00:32:15Um, and so we, I took the dog for him to go look for him.
00:32:23He didn't, he didn't want to keep going.
00:32:27He didn't want to keep going.
00:32:28So, I felt something in the darkness.
00:32:33I don't know what it was.
00:32:34That I don't know what it was.
00:32:38And then, Bruno, I just, he got out of his collar.
00:32:43He just ran.
00:32:45He ran.
00:32:46And I called for his name.
00:32:47And I called for his name.
00:32:49And I just kept going.
00:32:51Because I knew something was wrong.
00:32:56I just kept going.
00:32:57And I, I walked, and I walked, and I walked, and I walked.
00:33:06And then I saw, I saw, oh my God, I saw her.
00:33:14I saw her eyes.
00:33:21And then I looked at, and I saw everything was out.
00:33:25Everything was out.
00:33:27Am I a mad mother?
00:33:34Am I a mad mother?
00:33:36I feel so guilty.
00:33:41I feel so guilty.
00:33:44I just, I just thought they were stories.
00:33:49I didn't know I was going to lose my baby.
00:33:53It's not your fault.
00:34:03Uh, talk to the mayor.
00:34:17I think that's, that's, that's why I missed you.
00:34:22His name's, uh, Douglas Holden.
00:34:28He's an old man.
00:34:30He put a sobbed in this investigation.
00:34:33Can I give you a hug?
00:34:45I'm so sorry.
00:34:53I love my baby back, please.
00:34:55Give me my baby back.
00:35:00I'm so sorry.
00:35:03I'm so sorry.
00:35:18Thank you for sharing your story, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry.
00:35:36All right, Miranda, if you want to do this, let's get this fast while the chainsaws are stopped.
00:35:41Yeah, yeah, I just want to get a little debrief after everything in there.
00:35:46I know, it keeps hitting us.
00:35:48How's everyone feeling?
00:35:50Sad, like honestly.
00:35:52Did anyone else find it weird that she had said that she saw her daughter?
00:35:58Like, I thought that they said that her daughter was missing.
00:36:01Yeah, I did catch that too.
00:36:04So, which is it?
00:36:08That whole thing was traumatizing, like absolutely traumatizing.
00:36:16Yeah.
00:36:17Um, I think she's always coming?
00:36:21I know, I gotta redo that for sure.
00:36:23Who's that?
00:36:24I don't know, I'll keep it rolling.
00:36:26Still rolling?
00:36:27Yeah, I will too.
00:36:28All right.
00:36:29Hi.
00:36:30Hello.
00:36:31Candace, let us know you were going to be here.
00:36:33Oh, yeah, we actually just got done talking with Candace.
00:36:36How are you?
00:36:37My husband's on the town council.
00:36:39Yeah.
00:36:40He doesn't really want me talking to you guys, but I do have a phone number that can help you
00:36:45get in touch with the mayor, so.
00:36:47Oh, that would be great.
00:36:49Yeah, so while she's doing that, there's some things you should know.
00:36:52Like, the stories that you've heard, they get worse, they're very, like, keep caution
00:36:59whatever you guys think you're doing.
00:37:00Okay.
00:37:01Like, it's worse than you guys could ever imagine.
00:37:03Oh, here you go.
00:37:05Oh my god, thanks Randy.
00:37:06They don't want us talking about it.
00:37:08Oh.
00:37:09At all.
00:37:10Okay, okay.
00:37:11Holden is his last name?
00:37:12Yeah.
00:37:13Okay, cool.
00:37:14I knew it was Les, but I didn't know his last name.
00:37:15Okay, let me get that number.
00:37:19Okay.
00:37:20Oh my god, thank you so much, because we had no idea how to get hold of him.
00:37:26I'm like, oh.
00:37:27Okay, Randy, I saved that.
00:37:29I'm going to give you more information.
00:37:30Coffee.
00:37:31Yeah.
00:37:32I'm going to go ahead and cut.
00:37:33Have a good day.
00:37:35Thank you so much.
00:37:36It's time to cut.
00:37:37Get out of here.
00:37:38All right.
00:37:39Huh?
00:37:40Start loading up?
00:37:41Uh, yeah.
00:37:42Yeah, let's load up.
00:37:43Start loading up.
00:37:44No, what'd he say?
00:37:45I don't know.
00:37:46It was just the loading side, I guess.
00:37:48I just feel so sad right now.
00:37:53Um, we probably need to figure out what we're also going to do tonight.
00:37:58Sound.
00:37:59Sound.
00:38:00Hello.
00:38:01Hello.
00:38:02What?
00:38:03Oh, yeah, yeah.
00:38:05Sound speed testing.
00:38:06Hello.
00:38:07Testing.
00:38:08Hear me?
00:38:09Yeah.
00:38:10Sounds great.
00:38:11Awesome.
00:38:12And action.
00:38:13So we're here at the home of Mayor Les Holden.
00:38:15He's inside right now.
00:38:16So we're going to go get some interviews and kind of try to figure out what's going on
00:38:20with these legends.
00:38:21Oh, yeah.
00:38:22Thank you so much for coming by his house.
00:38:28The office is just in shambles.
00:38:30We're doing construction and just too much dust.
00:38:32So thank you so much.
00:38:33Come on in there.
00:38:34I will get him for you.
00:38:36How you doing, sir?
00:38:37How you doing?
00:38:38Good.
00:38:39Good.
00:38:40Good.
00:38:41Yeah.
00:38:42Good.
00:38:49Good, good.
00:38:50Yeah.
00:38:51What the fuck is this guy?
00:38:55You know him?
00:38:57Where do you get rolling?
00:38:59How you doing sir?
00:39:01How you doing?
00:39:03Good. Good. Yeah.
00:39:21We rolling?
00:39:26Randy?
00:39:27Yeah. Yeah, we're good to go.
00:39:29Alright, sounds beating.
00:39:42Thanks so much for seeing us on short notice.
00:39:44No problem. No problem at all.
00:39:47I actually have a theory.
00:39:49When you have the opportunity to be on television, you take it.
00:39:53Okay?
00:39:55What can we do for you?
00:39:57So I was wondering if you could share with us your thoughts on this werewolf of Fairfield County.
00:40:05The old werewolf.
00:40:07Werewolf of Fairfield County.
00:40:09Oh, we're well aware of it.
00:40:11You know, it's been around for centuries.
00:40:15Passed down from generation to generation.
00:40:17But every town, every town has a story just like this.
00:40:23Ours might be just a little more colorful.
00:40:27That's all.
00:40:29I know when I was in high school, it was always the big rage to go out Friday night looking for the werewolf.
00:40:35So we always thought we would have fun, but mostly ended up boring.
00:40:39You know, urban legends, wives tales, you know, if you believe, you believe.
00:40:45You know, with the town folk here.
00:40:47I mean, it's something a little interesting, even a little scary.
00:40:53But to be honest with you, if we're bringing in the tourists, so be it.
00:41:01Right.
00:41:02You know?
00:41:03So, what are your thoughts surrounding the circumstances of the disappearance?
00:41:13I guess they've talked to Candace.
00:41:19Candace.
00:41:20Audrey Gibbs.
00:41:21Audrey Gibbs.
00:41:23Yeah, she hasn't left us alone since Audrey went missing.
00:41:29Becoming annoying little bitch.
00:41:34Thank you, Ms. Anchors.
00:41:36So, exactly what did Candace tell you guys?
00:41:41Well, basically what she said was that her daughter would take these nightly walks, right?
00:41:46And one night, Audrey went for a walk and she did not come back.
00:41:51So, um, Mrs. Gibbs and her dog went looking for her, but the dog seemed, like, different that night.
00:41:59That night I was scared, I guess, and it stopped and ran off in the other direction.
00:42:04She never saw it again either.
00:42:06Well, you know, let's face it.
00:42:11I mean, we're talking about a mother here who's grieving, you know?
00:42:18And she's looking for somebody to blame.
00:42:20And to be honest, I completely understand.
00:42:24But let me reiterate that Fairfield County is a beautiful, pleasant place.
00:42:31And I'll reassure you both that there's nothing to fear at all.
00:42:36Nothing.
00:42:37All right.
00:42:41Is there anything else?
00:42:43I don't believe so.
00:42:45Thank you so much for your time.
00:42:47Oh, no problem.
00:42:48So welcome.
00:42:49You're so welcome.
00:42:50And good luck.
00:42:51Please.
00:42:54I'm going to find it for you.
00:42:55Help yourselves.
00:42:56Oh, yeah.
00:42:57Thank you so much.
00:42:59Let me show you the door.
00:43:01We were getting a, um, uh, Brandy, we were getting a leaf blower in that, I think.
00:43:10Is that cool with you?
00:43:11Uh, how bad was it?
00:43:14Dude, we can fix it in post?
00:43:17It's fine.
00:43:18It's fine.
00:43:19All right.
00:43:20Shit.
00:43:21Shit.
00:43:22Shit.
00:43:23Peter, get the sound.
00:43:24Peter, get the fucking sound.
00:43:25Why?
00:43:26The guy's coming.
00:43:27What guy?
00:43:28This guy again?
00:43:29How are ya?
00:43:30What's going on?
00:43:31How are ya?
00:43:32Darren Pearson.
00:43:33We're up at the town.
00:43:34Sorry about that.
00:43:35I didn't get a chance to say hello properly.
00:43:37Hold on, hold on, hold on.
00:43:38The mayor, he could be a little bit, uh, you know, flamboyant.
00:43:41I want you to get a bad image of the town.
00:43:43Sound is speeding now.
00:43:44We missed all that.
00:43:45Um, it's okay though.
00:43:46You know, but what the fuck is your problem?
00:43:49Hold on, hold for the plane.
00:43:51Just, um, say all that again if you want to.
00:43:56I'm a rep at the town.
00:43:57Uh, it's nice to meet you.
00:43:58I've seen your guy's stuff.
00:43:59You know, it's good.
00:44:00I know about the show.
00:44:01You guys plan on being around here a bit?
00:44:02Uh, going out tonight?
00:44:03Yeah, for sure.
00:44:04Yeah.
00:44:05Doing your thing?
00:44:06Yeah.
00:44:07All right.
00:44:08I want you to call this number.
00:44:09I threw a proposition for you.
00:44:10My family has been here a long time.
00:44:11You can say since, uh, inception, if you will, um, give them a call.
00:44:15They'll take care of it.
00:44:16They can get a little guide tour.
00:44:17They'll show you where you want to be.
00:44:18You're not going to find anything, but he'll take you where you need to go.
00:44:21Who's this?
00:44:22It's my uncle.
00:44:23Okay.
00:44:24Okay.
00:44:25Okay.
00:44:26Okay.
00:44:27Okay.
00:44:28Okay.
00:44:29Okay.
00:44:30Okay.
00:44:31Okay.
00:44:32Okay.
00:44:33Okay.
00:44:34Okay.
00:44:35Okay.
00:44:36It's my uncle.
00:44:37Okay.
00:44:38He'll take you where you need to go.
00:44:39Okay.
00:44:41But, um, I can't have you coming back here anymore.
00:44:45I don't want you, I don't want you to talk in the mail.
00:44:47No.
00:44:48As you can see, he's drinking.
00:44:50And that's off the record.
00:44:53I can't have you coming back here again.
00:44:55All right?
00:44:56He'll take...
00:44:57Sorry about that.
00:44:58No, it's all right.
00:44:59No, he told you to come, but just use that as your guide.
00:45:03He'll take care of you.
00:45:05Um, we've been here a long time.
00:45:08All right?
00:45:09Again, if you can call me.
00:45:10My name's Darren.
00:45:11Yeah.
00:45:13All right, guys.
00:45:14Good luck.
00:45:15All right.
00:45:16See you later, Darren.
00:45:17All right.
00:45:18We got a leaf blower, planes.
00:45:19What do you want to do?
00:45:20You want to fix it in post?
00:45:21Yeah.
00:45:22Whatever.
00:45:23The editing software nowadays is insane.
00:45:24Oh.
00:45:25Can't do anything about that guy's hair, though.
00:45:28I mean, we don't really have any other options.
00:45:32Okay, let's go.
00:45:37So up to this point in the footage, everything is pretty normal.
00:45:40This is how most of their episodes go.
00:45:43But everything after this is all new to them.
00:45:46They had no idea.
00:45:48So tell us a little bit about how you felt during the next portion of this film.
00:45:52What did it make you feel the first time you watched it?
00:45:57Fear.
00:46:02It's so cute.
00:46:04I don't know about this guy.
00:46:06What did you say his name was again?
00:46:09Oh, um, Val, right?
00:46:11Yes.
00:46:12Yeah.
00:46:13Yeah.
00:46:14So his name is Val Pearson.
00:46:16His family has been in this area for literally, like, generations.
00:46:19I mean, we're talking even before this legend actually started.
00:46:23Yeah.
00:46:24And we met Darren Pearson the other day.
00:46:26He sent us out here to meet him.
00:46:28Is that him?
00:46:29I don't know.
00:46:30Hey.
00:46:31Are you Mr. Pearson?
00:46:32Are you Val?
00:46:33I am.
00:46:34Hey, Val.
00:46:35Hi.
00:46:36You still rolling?
00:46:37Do you want sound?
00:46:38How you doing?
00:46:39Hi.
00:46:40Nice to meet you.
00:46:41Sound guy.
00:46:42You don't say.
00:46:43And you are?
00:46:44Randy.
00:46:45Randy.
00:46:46Randy.
00:46:47Randy.
00:46:48Randy.
00:46:49Do you mind coming to the middle?
00:46:50Absolutely.
00:46:51Thank you so much for having me talk to us.
00:46:53Yeah.
00:46:54First thing we need to go over before I take you adrenaline junkies out here.
00:47:01Is we're going to have to go over some things you may encounter out here.
00:47:22You guys got bug spray?
00:47:25Oh.
00:47:26Yes.
00:47:27Yes.
00:47:28You're going to need bug spray.
00:47:29You're going to get eaten alive by the bugs.
00:47:34Maybe.
00:47:35You're not going to throw us to the wolves, are you?
00:47:37I see what you did there.
00:47:40Ticks are also another problem out here.
00:47:46I would suggest hats.
00:47:49If you don't have one, check yourself thoroughly.
00:47:54I got you.
00:47:55Poison ivy is also something that you're going to have to look out for.
00:48:01You guys know what poison ivy looks like?
00:48:03Yes.
00:48:04What does it look like?
00:48:05So it's got three leaves and it usually looks like a little teardrop.
00:48:08Okay.
00:48:09You guys paying attention here?
00:48:10Yeah.
00:48:11All right.
00:48:12Yeah.
00:48:13Okay.
00:48:14Now we're going to get into some wildlife that you guys are going to have to be aware
00:48:18of and I want you to listen very carefully.
00:48:23First off, this area has been known to have wolves, but luckily for you guys, they've been
00:48:33run off for the most part when people started building houses and taking over their land.
00:48:40They had to go somewhere.
00:48:42You probably won't find an actual wolf.
00:48:48There have been some black bear sightings a few weeks ago, as a matter of fact.
00:48:57Um, was that, you know, something that happens all the time?
00:49:03No.
00:49:04But it could happen and you should be aware of this.
00:49:10Poison ivy, I think I mentioned that.
00:49:14Snakes is the last on the list.
00:49:18So, indigenous to this area, we have the timber rattlesnake and we have a copperheads that
00:49:26you may run into.
00:49:29Here's the important part.
00:49:32If we encounter any of these, this wildlife that I've spoke of, let me handle it.
00:49:43I'm sure you guys are, you know, from wherever you're from, not really, I guess, knowledgeable
00:49:50on dealing with copperheads, dealing with bears, dealing with maybe a wolf.
00:49:57So, with all that being said, I think it's time, kiddos.
00:50:04Uh, you guys got that?
00:50:07Quick question, what about werewolves?
00:50:09What about werewolves?
00:50:11What?
00:50:13Well, I guess we'll just have to, uh, find out.
00:50:19They're also known to maybe be in the area.
00:50:23Does that answer your question, Randy?
00:50:25I guess it does.
00:50:26Alright.
00:50:27Are we ready to go or what?
00:50:29Are we gonna stand around and talk?
00:50:30Yeah, um, Randy, I started rolling like halfway through that.
00:50:33Um, there was a plant at the beginning.
00:50:36Is that cool?
00:50:37Yeah, I'm sure it's fine.
00:50:38It's good?
00:50:39Val, can I put my hoodie in your house?
00:50:41It's kinda hot, I don't wanna bring it out there.
00:50:43You mind?
00:50:44Yeah, I guess so.
00:50:45Okay, thank you.
00:50:46Yeah.
00:50:47Yeah, so we just need to tuck our-
00:50:49You, you guys go get your stuff together.
00:50:53Alright.
00:50:54We will meet back in this general area in just a little bit.
00:50:59Oh my gosh.
00:51:00Thank you so much, Val.
00:51:02Thanks, Val.
00:51:03You're welcome.
00:51:04I need to spray a bug spray.
00:51:05I need a spray bug spray.
00:51:06Yeah.
00:51:07I gotta spray bug.
00:51:08I'm like getting bit, yeah.
00:51:09I've got a feeling tonight's gonna be really good.
00:51:12God, it's nice.
00:51:13Certainly not boring.
00:51:14Well, the copperheads are cute because they look like Hershey Kiss Lake on the design.
00:51:17Yeah.
00:51:18Define cute!
00:51:19They're cute!
00:51:20What?
00:51:21Can we speed this up, please?
00:51:23Yep, yep.
00:51:24Sorry.
00:51:25I'm gonna tuck my socks so I don't get ticks on my-
00:51:28Oh my goodness.
00:51:33Did you just spray that on your armpit?
00:51:35You want a bit in your armpit?
00:51:36I forgot.
00:51:37Oh, this stuff smells so bad.
00:51:42Ten bucks says he's the fucking werewolf.
00:51:45Yes.
00:51:46I take that bet.
00:51:48He gets werewolf's fives, right?
00:51:49He does.
00:51:50I mean-
00:51:51It's the beard.
00:51:52It is the beard.
00:51:53It is the beard.
00:51:54Randy, roll.
00:52:07Alright, you guys ready?
00:52:08Yeah.
00:52:09Uh, yeah.
00:52:11Alright, we are rolling.
00:52:13Sound is speeding.
00:52:16Val, give me a level.
00:52:18Say something funny.
00:52:19Funny.
00:52:20Hell yeah, sounds good.
00:52:21Whatever you want, Randy.
00:52:24Alright.
00:52:25And action.
00:52:26So, Val, could you tell us a little bit about your family's origins in the area?
00:52:31And kind of what you're thinking is really what these legends are?
00:52:37They're truth.
00:52:38My family knows this.
00:52:39My family's been here for generations.
00:52:52Here in these woods.
00:52:53Here in these woods.
00:52:54Here in these woods.
00:52:55They made these woods their home.
00:52:59Before the paved roads.
00:53:00Before all the town folk came in.
00:53:05This was...
00:53:06This was...
00:53:07This was our home.
00:53:10My family's home.
00:53:12This land is in our blood.
00:53:17And throughout the generations...
00:53:22My grandfather's grandfather would tell tales...
00:53:29About these woods.
00:53:32About a creature...
00:53:35That walks...
00:53:37Half man...
00:53:39Half wolf.
00:53:41Now...
00:53:44Unless you've really lived here...
00:53:48For a long time...
00:53:50Longer than...
00:53:52Any of us have been alive...
00:53:55Passed down through the generations...
00:53:58Some know...
00:53:59These aren't...
00:54:00Stories...
00:54:02Like the town folk then...
00:54:05Would say...
00:54:07It'll keep the children out of the woods...
00:54:10They said...
00:54:11They knew more than what they were leading on...
00:54:16For sure...
00:54:17You know...
00:54:20We got some really great stories from different people here in town...
00:54:24But...
00:54:25The mayor seems to not really believe anything...
00:54:27The mayor?
00:54:29That's...
00:54:31Stuck up...
00:54:32Douche turd...
00:54:33You know...
00:54:35I don't like him...
00:54:37He doesn't like me...
00:54:39He doesn't like the fact...
00:54:40That...
00:54:41That...
00:54:42My nephew's work...
00:54:43Or...
00:54:44I don't like it...
00:54:45That my nephew's working for him...
00:54:48I don't like that one bit...
00:54:50Plus...
00:54:51He's a-holdin'...
00:54:53He holds no stake in this part...
00:54:56He doesn't know anything about...
00:54:58What I know...
00:55:01And what I know...
00:55:04I can give you a story...
00:55:06Before we move on...
00:55:08Yeah...
00:55:09Please...
00:55:10Please...
00:55:11I was about...
00:55:1217...
00:55:1318 years old...
00:55:15I was out in these woods...
00:55:17Doing a little squirrel hunting...
00:55:19You guys like squirrel?
00:55:21Yeah...
00:55:22Okay...
00:55:23They're cute...
00:55:24Yeah...
00:55:25Well...
00:55:26I wasn't getting them for looks...
00:55:28We were squirrel hunting...
00:55:31And...
00:55:32It was getting dark...
00:55:34Well...
00:55:35Close to this...
00:55:37I knew it was time to get back...
00:55:40Cause I knew what that night brought...
00:55:42Or the full moon...
00:55:44And...
00:55:47Well...
00:55:48I packed up...
00:55:50Packed up...
00:55:52And...
00:55:53Left...
00:55:54And...
00:55:55As I got...
00:55:57Crossed through the field...
00:55:59Right where...
00:56:00My family had some...
00:56:02Had a lot of livestock there...
00:56:05That also...
00:56:07Mysteriously...
00:56:08Starting...
00:56:09To die...
00:56:11Just...
00:56:13Sliced up...
00:56:15Mutilated...
00:56:18I got right to the edge...
00:56:22And...
00:56:23I heard this...
00:56:24Howl...
00:56:26Turn around...
00:56:28And I see them...
00:56:29Standing...
00:56:30Right there along the tree line...
00:56:34And...
00:56:37Oh...
00:56:38The memories it brings...
00:56:39The sight...
00:56:40Was gray...
00:56:43Looked like a man...
00:56:46Stood upright...
00:56:49But definitely didn't act like a man...
00:56:51That's when I ran...
00:56:54Like I've never ran before...
00:56:58Straight to the barn...
00:57:01Got quiet...
00:57:04Thought I may have a chance...
00:57:06To get to the house...
00:57:09Well...
00:57:12It was quiet for a minute...
00:57:15And that howl...
00:57:16And that growl...
00:57:17Came out...
00:57:19I took off...
00:57:20Before I got in the house...
00:57:21I looked back...
00:57:23And he's standing there...
00:57:25Like he didn't care...
00:57:27That I saw him...
00:57:31I ran in the house...
00:57:35Shut the door...
00:57:39Kinda blacked out I guess...
00:57:41After that...
00:57:45There was nothing...
00:57:47I was gonna do...
00:57:49But what I saw that night...
00:57:52I'll never forget...
00:57:57Well...

01:00:50Is it werewolf related?

01:04:13Yeah, this, you don't know what's out there.
01:04:18Randy, what do you think?
01:04:19I mean, chances are it's like a bobcat, there's bear, there's coyotes, there's mountain lions, like it could be.

01:04:28Like actual wolves?

01:05:07Hold on, wait, stop moving.
01:05:11No, whatever was moving is not moving anymore.
01:05:16But it came from this direction.
01:05:18It came from that direction, like, it was like galloping or trotting, I don't know.
01:05:23Yeah, it's probably, like I said, it's probably a boob.
01:05:25Did he say his family spilled a lot of blood on this land?
01:05:26It was something that was running on all fours.
01:05:28It was...
01:05:28Peter, Peter, Peter.
01:05:31What, huh?
01:05:32Did he say his family spilled a lot of blood on this land?
01:05:36Did you hear him say that?
01:05:38Guys, stop messing around.

01:05:42Yeah, I was kind of confused about that.
01:05:43What the fuck was that?
01:05:43Like, slaughtering animals?
01:05:45Like, what kind of blood?
01:05:48I didn't know.
01:05:49Like, humans?
01:05:54All right, let's just keep going.
01:05:55Yeah, I was going to say, it came from this direction, so let's just check it out.
01:05:58Like I said, chances are, probably like...
01:06:02Are we good?
01:06:06Peter, you're still rolling sound on this?
01:06:08Hold on, let me take my shirt off.
01:06:10It's getting so hot.
01:06:10Um, yeah, yeah, sounds feeding.
01:06:13All right, where'd you say you heard it up here?
01:06:14It was this way.
01:06:15Yeah, yeah, and this is good.
01:06:17Am I good?
01:06:18Yeah, I think this is perfect.
01:06:19Okay, guys, we just heard a howl.
01:06:22And in this area, there hasn't been a native population of gray wolves since...
01:06:27The area was first settled, so that means we're getting really close.
01:06:32And we heard something coming from this way.
01:06:40I'm not seeing anything here.
01:06:56Do you guys smell that?
01:06:59Oh, man.
01:07:00Oh, my God, yeah, watch for you, Steph.

01:10:41Oh!
01:10:43Oh my god!
01:11:00At some point that night, the 911 call center received a report that everybody was dead.
01:11:27Mr. Curry, what happened then?
01:11:32Fortunately, the responding officers got there so quickly that they were able to retrieve the footage before anybody knew the true gravity of the situation.
01:11:44Mr. Curry, I'm looking at this.
01:11:47The footage does kind of conflict with the official report, doesn't it?
01:11:49I mean, the Sheriff's Department said nothing about the other six individuals caught on camera, not to mention the assailant that they encountered.
01:11:58No one has interviewed any of them.
01:12:01Our paralegals were never able to even confirm the existence of anybody else.
01:12:04Val Pearson was the only lead.
01:12:06That went nowhere.
01:12:08There's so many unanswered questions about this whole case.
01:12:10I think if the families had not gotten legal representation, we wouldn't know anything about it.
01:12:16We have caught the Fairfield County Sheriff's Department in mid-cover-up, and we intend to do something about it.
01:12:25I mean, I guess now that the footage is out there, what should we expect next?
01:12:35Time will tell.
01:12:38Time will tell.
01:12:39All right, everybody, that's a wrap.
01:12:51You did good.
01:12:53Nice recovery, this is good.
01:12:58And cut.
01:12:59Cut.
01:13:23Cut.
01:13:29Cut.
01:13:32Cut.
01:13:47Cut.
