00:00That's it. That's as far as you're going. Stop. Stop. Right now. Stop.
00:15What is going on?
00:20Just knocked out.
00:21Okay, so by now at this point here, we were smart enough not to leave really anything.
00:31From sudden animal charges and violent intruders to unexplained sounds deep in the woods,
00:38each clip captures the exact moment survival instincts took over.
00:43This is six most disturbing trail encounters caught on camera.
00:47Case number one.
00:48On May 6th, 2014, at Machida Wind Trails, Fort McMurray, Alberta, in Canada.
00:56Two men went out for a normal jog on a quiet forest trail,
01:00expecting nothing more than a simple workout in the fresh air.
01:03But soon things took a wild turn.
01:06Without warning, a large bear stepped out of the woods and blocked the trail,
01:10instantly turning a peaceful run into a nightmare.
01:13One of the men quickly pulled out his phone and started recording as fear set in.
01:18We got nothing for you.
01:20We have nothing.
01:23We'll give it if we had it.
01:25All right.
01:25Back.
01:26Stay.
01:28That's it.
01:30That's as far as you're going.
01:31Stop.
01:32Stop.
01:34Right now.
01:35Stop.
01:35Stop.
01:44You can't.
01:46You can't.
01:47Get together, Greg.
01:48Get us together.
01:49We'll look bigger together.
01:51We can't, man.
01:52We can't.
01:52Stay together.
01:53Stay together.
01:53We can't.
01:54Stay together.
01:56All right.
01:56Stay together, large.
01:58Let's back away from them.
01:59Let them go after you go by.
02:01Yeah.
02:01I'll smash them in the head of this rock.
02:04Hey.
02:05Go on.
02:05Go on your way.
02:06Come on.
02:07Go.
02:08Go.
02:08It'll be your part from now, okay?
02:12The bear did not run away.
02:14It moved closer and closer, forcing the men to stop.
02:18Back.
02:19Back.
02:22Back.
02:24Back.
02:26Get in there.
02:28Get away from them.
02:28I can't get around.
02:29The bear stayed right in front of them, watching every move.
02:34We got nothing.
02:35Not make eye contact.
02:37That's it, boy.
02:48That's it, boy.
02:49That's it, boy.
02:52Come on.
02:53Let us head right away.
02:58Let us go.
02:58That's it, boy.
02:59Get up.
03:02Get back.
03:04Get together, Greg.
03:05We got to look longer.
03:06Let us go.
03:08Stay together.
03:09As long as we look like that.
03:10Good, good, good, good.
03:11Two rocks up.
03:13Let us go.
03:14Let us go.
03:19Don't be looking like that.
03:21Go on, nice.
03:22No.
03:22Stay in there.
03:25Good, good, good.
03:26I don't think we're going to eat.
03:27Just guys.
03:28All right.
03:29With no bear spray and no weapons, he warned his friend to grab a rock and be ready if the
03:35bear charged.
03:36Every second felt like it could be their last.
03:39Suddenly the bear got distracted by a nearby tree.
04:07He told his friend to stay calm and keep backing away slowly, afraid that running too soon could make things worse.
04:15Yeah, look at the bear. Beware of wildlife. Use an old risk. Holy shit.
04:21Atta boy, big guy. Beautiful. Atta boy.
04:28Once the bear finally moved off the trail, the men saw their chance.
04:33They turned and ran as fast as they could, straight to their car, not looking back.
04:40Lost at ae.
04:42Ae.
04:44Ae.
04:46Ae.
04:47Ae.
04:49Ae.
04:50Ae.
04:52Ae.
04:53Ae.
04:54Ae.
05:55Oh, my God.
06:02Oh, my God.
06:04Holy fuck.
06:05Holy fuck.
06:12Holy fuck.
06:13Causing workout.
06:15Holy fuck.
06:16Holy fuck.
06:16The shock fully hit them.
06:22Their faces showed pure terror, and he truly believed that could have been the day they
06:28died on that trail.
06:29With that being said, let's move on to our second disturbing trail encounter.
06:35Case number two.
06:36Recorded on Thanksgiving Day in High Alpine, Colorado, this video was uploaded by Nat Moran
06:42on November 30th, 2025.
06:45About what began as a calm holiday night slowly turned into fear.
06:50My name is Nat Moran, and I've been living on the road full time for almost five years,
06:55and I have my trusty companion, Pike, next to me.
06:57I think this Thanksgiving is so special because I'm choosing to be grateful.
07:02She had parked her camper in a cold, quiet, alpine area, thankful to have a safe home and
07:08a peaceful place to spend Thanksgiving with her dog.
07:12The night felt still and calm, with only the sound of the wind in the trees.
07:18I did choose to come to this location specifically because in the next couple of days, they are
07:24calling for a really significant snowstorm, and we really haven't had a lot of snow, and
07:32I'm really looking forward to a winter wonderland.
07:36It is Thanksgiving, and I'm going to be cooking my Thanksgiving meal over the campfire, and...
07:44As darkness settled in, a strange sound broke the silence.
07:49She heard a helicopter flying close to her camp, low enough to shake the air around her.
07:54She had no idea why it was there.
07:56Soon, another helicopter came in, even closer than the first.
08:00Oh, my gosh, I think I hear another helicopter coming.
08:18A helicopter just landed right there.
08:23You can kind of see the flashing light.
08:26So loud and so close.
08:28I don't know what's going on.
08:30What is happening?
08:41Okay, whatever it was, they're gone.
08:44I hope no one was hurt.
08:46Just when she thought it was over, more helicopters returned.
08:50One flew directly above her camp, so low that the force of the wind slammed into everything
08:55around her.
09:00Oh, no.
09:12It's flying right on top of us.
09:14It's flying right on top of us.
09:14I hope no one was hurt.
09:30I'm going to go try to get the scoop out of my neighbors tomorrow to see if they were able
09:36to see or hear anything more than I was.
09:44Parked in the middle of the road?
09:48I am so confused.
09:50I think I see flashing lights.
10:00I think someone has a flashlight.
10:03If it wasn't so dark, I'd be able to see what's going on.
10:10This is so weird.
10:15Okay, it's flying away.
10:17in seconds her camp turned into chaos the gear was knocked over diesel spilled everywhere
10:28and her heater was struck hard she watched her space fall apart right in front of her
10:33oh my god
10:41what is going on
10:49just knocked into my camp
10:55look at what just happened this helicopter just flew
11:11in and knocked over everything
11:13oh my god
11:18diesel everywhere
11:23i hope my diesel heater didn't break
11:27like two helicopters just came in over my camp at tree line so like
11:38oh god i'm going inside
11:40they're flying off
11:44okay
11:48they broke my heater so i have absolutely no way to heat myself tonight because
11:55standing there in shock she realized her heater was broken leaving her with no real way to stay warm in freezing temperatures
12:06panic set in as the cold night closed around her
12:10i'm about to cry
12:13this is my home
12:18hello
12:22hey
12:24hey
12:25i feel stupid for crying it's just like
12:31i think i'm in shock
12:35two helicopters just came by and completely destroyed my camp
12:39last time something like this happened like my camper was gone so like my casita's fine from what i can tell
12:45um
12:46i know it's not an a-liner
12:48i know it's not an a-liner
12:50all i can think about is the moment that my camper got total
12:53and that's all i can think of right now so i'm trying to stay grounded
12:58oh my god i think another helicopter is coming
13:02this has been the most stressful moment in a long time i'm just trying to get packed before this freaking helicopter is coming
13:10okay
13:11okay
13:12okay buddy
13:13let's go buddy
13:14you're such a good boy
13:17i'll get you inside the car
13:19come on
13:21let's go
13:24okay
13:25okay
13:27let's go buddy
13:29you're such a good boy
13:31let's get you inside the car
13:32come on
13:33okay
13:37Overwhelmed and shaking, she tried to pack up while helicopters continued to pass nearby.
13:54The noise and wind brought back old fear from past damage she had lived through before.
14:01Later, she realized that not one, but six helicopters had flown through the area.
14:07In seconds, everything outside was pure chaos.
14:11My solar panels were thrown across camp with visible damage.
14:15My diesel heater was hit hard enough that it wouldn't turn back on.
14:19As the night grew colder, coyotes circled outside her camper, adding another layer of fear.
14:25Exhausted, cold, and shaken, she focused only on making it through the night.
14:31Go!
14:37Okay, here's what we're going to do.
14:40We're going to throw that in there.
14:44And we're going to hurry up and get inside.
14:50Because that is scary as heck.
14:52Okay, I have to pee.
15:01Y'all need to go away.
15:03Okay?
15:07I'm going to read it again.
15:14Ow!
15:14Oh, my God, my finger is stuck in my bottle of it.
15:25You okay?
15:26What happened to my camper, bud?
15:31Here.
15:33Go this way.
15:34There you go.
15:36Just 15 minutes.
15:37By early morning, the shock still had not faded.
15:42Her camp was damaged, her power was limited, and she still had no answers about why the
15:48helicopters came so close.
15:50What began as a peaceful holiday ended as one of the most frightening nights she had ever
15:56faced.
15:58We okay, Pike?
16:01I got a little stressed today.
16:03I'm sorry.
16:05I'm sorry, honey.
16:08I love you.
16:09All right.
16:10We'll see you in the morning.
16:11Hopefully.
16:13Hopefully nothing else happens.
16:15Okay.
16:20I'm so tired.
16:23Okay.
16:26I'm so happy you're here.
16:29There's coyotes outside.
16:31We're so close.
16:33All right.
16:40Night-night.
16:41Night-night.
16:41Around 2 a.m., my heater ran out of propane, and it was like 20 degrees outside, but Pike
17:03just laid right where he's at, and we just wrapped up under the covers and hunkered down.
17:09I did not detach.
17:12I have no idea where I'm at.
17:13I don't even know if I'm in a good spot, pretty spot, what spot.
17:16It's just pitch black.
17:17This sun's starting to rise, so I'm going to go outside for a potty break.
17:21But last night was absolutely wild.
17:24I lost my diesel heater.
17:26I don't even know what the condition of my solar panels are.
17:29They look like they were shredded to pieces when I picked them up and just threw them in
17:32the car.
17:32Even in daylight, the fear stayed with her.
17:36The quiet after the chaos felt heavy, and the mystery of that night remained unsolved.
17:43Moving on to our third disturbing trail encounter for this video.
17:47Case number three.
17:48On November 12, 2022, a video titled, Thief Breaks Into My Camper and Drops His Knife, was
17:56premiered live on YouTube by the Hunt Your Way channel, showing what happened on his rural
18:01property, which was no less than a nightmare for him.
18:04Without repair of the whole entire place.
18:07For the first three years, everything went smooth.
18:10We had absolutely zero problems.
18:13Started getting comfortable down there, leaving tools in the shed, no problems.
18:17So we had everything we needed down there if we had to make repairs.
18:21Then we started noticing some vehicles pulling in the driveway.
18:23We didn't have a gate up at that time, so there was two or three different vehicles that
18:28we noticed pulling in the driveway.
18:30So we threw up a bunch of cameras.
18:32Then we had our first break-in.
18:34As you can see from the pictures, they knocked our window out.
18:38He had owned the property for years and fixed it with care, trusting the area enough to
18:43leave tools and supplies behind.
18:45For a long time, nothing felt wrong.
18:49That feeling changed when unknown vehicles started pulling into the driveway.
18:54Something felt off, so he set up cameras, not knowing how serious things were about to get.
18:59One night, someone came back.
19:01The camera later showed a man creeping toward the camper, stopping to look around and make
19:06sure no one was nearby.
19:08To come out, they took a report, gathered up evidence, and that was pretty much about the
19:15last that I heard from them.
19:19I followed up a few weeks later.
19:20This was all during COVID, and I kept getting the excuse that COVID was going on.
19:24It was slowing everything down.
19:25And then I just stopped getting the return phone calls when I left messages and trying
19:30to reach out.
19:30So it went absolutely nowhere.
19:33So yeah, I decided, hey, I'm going to put this footage out there for you guys to see,
19:37and maybe it'll help somebody else out.
19:39We're going to go ahead and roll this video here.
19:41I'm going to put it in slow motion here so we can talk about it.
19:44So as you can see, he's kind of creeping up here to the door.
19:46He kind of goes past the door and kind of looks, I'm assuming, to make sure there's no vehicles
19:51or anything on down the driveway.
19:55Goes up there, gives the old handle a pull.
19:58Obviously, the door is locked.
20:00Then he goes over to where you can see the window I have taped to where it was broke out
20:06before.
20:07Starts peeling on that tape.
20:09That must have evidently took too long because then next thing you know, he tries to actually
20:14pry the window open, which he does get it open enough to put his arm through there.
20:39You're going to pull out.
20:58And this tape works.
21:00and I have put the screen back in there at this time so you can see there he
21:19actually pops that screen out of the way reaches around there to the door handle
21:24and he's the man tried the door and found it locked instead of leaving he
21:29moved to the window that had been broken before and began pulling at the tape
21:38okay so by by now at this point here we were smart enough not to leave really
21:44anything of any true value in the camper there so the video you can see him coming
21:50out on the slow-mo it as well you can see he's running with something coming out
21:53the door and that would actually be an old ten-year-old heater that we had in
21:58their electric heater that he helped his self to and there he goes running back
22:04down the drive when that took too long he forced the window open just enough to
22:08reach inside his arm slipped through the gap searching in the dark for the door
22:13handle moments later the door opened two weeks later the thief returned this time
22:20the cold stopped the camera from recording but the signs were clear when he
22:24arrived unfortunately the the batteries were just too cold evidently didn't get
22:30any recording of it but this is what I walked in inside the camper something
22:35chilling was left behind the thief had dropped a knife sitting there as proof of
22:40how close this had become here soon but she can see your thief's been back he pulled up the
22:48tape there and I've already actually went in the camper and look he left something
22:53this time left his knife so as soon as I get out of here I'm gonna go call the
23:00sheriff see if you can come down I really hope they're gonna fingerprint this knife
23:03because that's all all we need to catch this guy and I believe I know who it is
23:09and I believe he's already in the court system and he should already have his
23:12fingerprints on file so all they got to do is get a print from that and be pretty
23:17simple to match up so let's uh let's hope they uh they go the extra mile for me and
23:23get that thing fingerprinted and we can get this guy so stay tuned stay tuned he believed
23:30the knife could finally identify the man police took it promised answers and then went silent
23:36ran his fingerprints um on this knife like they said they would when they came out came out he put
23:42his rubber gloves on got his bag took the knife um did all that said it was going to be ran to
23:48contact them and I contact them numerous times um spoke with the secretary left multiple messages
23:54and um the only time I got somebody to call me back was that they were so backed up with COVID
23:59it basically didn't have time to uh to handle this in the end the fear was not just the break-in
24:05but knowing someone had entered his space more than once and could still come back that brings us
24:11to the fourth video for disturbing trail encounters case number four on April 28th in the forests of
24:19Hokkaido province Japan two men were slowly driving down a narrow forest road while foraging believing
24:26the area was calm and empty but not for so long without warning a large mother bear appeared in front of the
24:33vehicle she was close too close and her body language showed panic and anger the bear charged
24:40straight at the van he could feel the danger instantly realizing the vehicle had come between
24:46the mother bear and her cub later wildlife experts explained that the attack happened because the vehicle
24:53crossed the space between a mother bear and her cub triggering a natural and violent defense response
25:00the road became quiet again but the fear stayed what began as a simple drive ended as a reminder of how
25:08fast nature can turn deadly when a mother is protecting her young let's move on to our fifth encounter
25:16case number five on September 5th 2020 in the forests of Michigan a video titled loud scream in the woods
25:25that made me run was uploaded by phoenix who usually posts a smr from forests and wildlife but this video shows how a simple walk in the woods turned into fear
25:39he went into the forest with a calm plan he wanted to record soft nature sounds for a new ASMR idea
25:57he walked deeper and chose a walled-off area where trees had been knocked down the place felt empty and still like no one had been there in a long time
26:16then the silence broke a loud scream came from deep in the woods it did not sound like any animal he had ever heard before
26:31so
27:01He had walked many trails in Michigan before, but this sound was different.
27:16It was not natural to him, and that made it much worse.
27:21For a moment he stood still, listening, afraid another scream would come closer.
27:26The woods no longer felt safe.
27:29He believed something was out there, and he did not want to see it.
27:33Whatever made that noise was not something he wanted to meet.
27:37Fear took over.
27:39He turned around and ran, leaving the area as fast as he could, not looking back.
27:59The forest went quiet again, but the scream stayed in his mind.
28:13What started as a peaceful recording trip became a moment he would never forget.
28:18That brings us to our last encounter for the most disturbing trail encounter ever caught on camera.
28:25Case number six.
28:27On June 7th, 2015, at Dillon State Park in Ohio, this video was uploaded by Collins2002,
28:35showing a normal day that slowly turned uneasy.
28:38Of course, he ended up in the video of his way, you're watching him on camera, he was not listening to Climb builder.
28:50Alright?
28:50Bye.
28:52Bye.
28:53Bye.
28:54Bye.
28:55Bye.
28:55Bye.
28:56Bye.
28:57Bye.
28:57Bye.
28:58Bye.
28:58Bye.
28:58Bye.
28:59Bye.
29:00Bye.
29:01Bye.
29:02Bye.
29:03Bye.
29:03Bye.
29:04Bye.
29:05Bye.
29:06Bye.
29:06Bye.
29:08He went into the woods to look for a specific tree.
29:20The park felt quiet with only wind and birds around him.
29:25Nothing felt wrong at first.
29:38The park felt quiet with only wind and birds around him.
30:08There were trees around him.
30:10The woods felt wide and empty, like no one else was nearby.
30:26And somebody's built a berm for mountain biking.
30:31He's around the trail.
30:38Must be some kids that aren't afraid it doesn't work.
30:42I bounced you off a rock.
31:09That rounded rock looks a little out of place.
31:28Then a loud sound came from far inside the forest.
31:31It was deep, rough, and very strong.
31:34He stopped walking and tried to listen again.
31:39I'm looking for tree burrows that I can reach.
31:45Nothing bad about tree burrows, if they're still in the tree, usually they're ones that are worth cutting.
31:52I hope I got that on audio, because I don't know what the hell that is.
32:07The noise did not sound like any animal he knew.
32:10I got the, I don't know if you'd be able to tell, but that's a big burrow right there, but it's.
32:20I'd have to have a chainsaw to get the damn thing off.
32:22There's, here's some, they're on a dead tree, but the problem you run into there, there's a lot of times, like that's a burrow right there.
32:43A lot of times, you end up cutting them off, and they're rotting inside, and you end up wasting a lot of time.
32:55That one's probably seven foot up, that big one I just showed you.
33:01Knock that, and knock the damn tree down, it'll be alright.
33:05It's not that dead yet.
33:06Oop.
33:08A second loud noise broke the silence.
33:20It came from the same direction, almost like a call, or a warning.
33:28I'm showing my age now.
33:38And there it is again.
33:47Alright, now I have the fogiest clue of what the hell would be making that noise out here.
33:52We don't have wild pigs.
33:56We sure shit ain't got no howler monkeys floating around these woods.
33:59People lose their damn animals all the time.
34:07Especially around Ohio.
34:11He tried to think of what it could be, but nothing made sense.
34:16Ohio does not have animals that sound like that.
34:20Big ol' good something, got a bunch of woodpecker holes in it.
34:23But heard about the crazy guy letting all his tigers and shit out, and then killing himself.
34:30He was my sixth grade teacher's husband.
34:35For a moment, he stood still, listening for footsteps or movement, but heard only the wind after the noise faded.
