00:00OK, let's talk about what Iran has by way of a nuclear threat.
00:05What's Iran got in terms of highly enriched uranium stockpiles?
00:10And could the country already, in your opinion, be in a position to build one or more devices?
00:17Thanks to the U.S. and Israeli strikes in June 2025, the program has severe bottlenecks and choke points in
00:24the pathway to nuclear weapons.
00:26I'd say they were set back about two years, if not further.
00:30What we've really seen them do is try to start to look at what might have survived the strikes at
00:36the low ground sites.
00:38They haven't touched really the Fordow enrichment site, which was the main facility under a mountain that President Trump struck.
00:45But they do have around 10, 11 nuclear weapons worth of this highly enriched uranium, which can be used directly
00:52in a nuclear device.
00:54So far, they likely have not been able to get to that.
00:57It's buried in tunnels at Esfahan that the U.S. had struck, as well as in the Fordow facility.
01:03And so they really don't have much to bargain with at the moment because they themselves don't have access to
01:08the HEU.
01:09So it's fine.
