00:00Let's look at the dunk contest, which is the craziest of them all, because our very own Kevin Walsh is
00:05in the dunk contest this year at 16 to 1.
00:07No, I'm just kidding.
00:08But it's really that.
00:09I mean, honestly, I could not tell you one thing.
00:15Kishad Johnson, I know because he plays on the Heat.
00:17Carter Bryant, Jackson Hayes, Jace Richardson.
00:21I think his dad was in this.
00:23Okay, so I guess I'm familiar with him as well, which makes me feel not old, but super old in
00:28this.
00:30Look, what is left to do here with the dunk contest?
00:33They already have dunked over cars and fire and who knows what.
00:38Are they going to bring back money in for this one, too?
00:40Have they done the MTV Rockin' Jock lift?
00:43I think they didn't Dwight Howard lift the hoop to 12 feet.
00:46I think that was one of his at some point in time.
00:49To your point.
00:50Yeah.
00:51Oh, he had the Superman coat.
00:53I remember that.
00:53Well, yeah, he did the cape and all of that.
00:56Look, the dunk contest, it's a shame because, obviously, it used to be great.
01:02It used to be the – it's still the featured event.
01:04It's the last event of the night.
01:05But it used to be the showcase, Jordan against Neek, who's – Neek is going to be one of the
01:10judges here in this thing.
01:11And it's all previous contest winners that are on that judging panel.
01:15At least four out of the five.
01:16The fifth is yet to be determined.
01:17I guess a fan vote is determining who that's going to be.
01:20But in terms of name recognition, Craig, we've never had a worse dunk contest.
01:27I mean, it gets worse by the year.
01:28This is unbelievable.
01:30It does not mean – it doesn't mean it's going to be a bad contest.
01:33Maybe these guys are good dunkers.
01:35We'll find out.
01:36But in terms of the name – like, you don't have a John Morant.
01:38You don't have a – you know, an Aaron Gordon again or a Zach Levine.
01:43Anyone.
01:43These guys that have – like, it's awful.
01:45I mean, Carter Bryant of the Spurs is the favorite and, you know, has a nearly 40-inch vertical,
01:51which is obviously incredibly impressive, and he's explosive.
01:53But again, he is the shortest odds.
01:55You look at Jackson Hayes, a seven-footer.
01:58Other than Dwight Howard, big men, like exceptionally big men, centers, they don't win this event.
02:03And so he's a bad bet.
02:05Never mind the fact that – like, we talk about Damian Lillard is a feel-good story.
02:09Nobody wants to bet on Jackson Hayes, who had a domestic violence incident recently
02:14and just got, you know, suspended a game for shoving a mascot.
02:18So then it goes down to the two guys with the longest odds.
02:20You have Keyshaud Johnson, who you mentioned, who has a 42-inch vertical, which is bananas.
02:27Some great in-game dunks that you can Google as well.
02:29And then Jace Richardson.
02:31He's only 6'1".
02:32He's only dunked four times in a game this year.
02:34But his dad, Jason, did win this event twice.
02:36One of seven multiple-time winners of the event.
02:40To me, it's one of those two guys.
02:41I'd probably invest in Johnson.
