00:08a nice change of pace and I love the use of color and I love the use of simple ingredients
00:16being used over and over again.
00:18You have great butter, you have great Parmesan, great pastas, great breads and then of course the fruits and the
00:24vegetables and all of it being put together even down to the spices and the saffron. There's so much attention
00:31to detail. It's absolutely beautiful and I think American cooking is just different.
00:37It's not to say that it's any worse but it's definitely much more Americanized and so you're eating a lot
00:45more maybe heavier meals and putting in a few more spices and a few more ingredients and things like that.
00:52It's a little bit more comfort food but then at the same time you come to Italy and it's still
00:56comfort food. It's so delicious. It's more of a simplistic way of cooking and it's really so beautiful.
01:04I've already experienced so much delicious food but like we had the most absolutely delicious cacio e pepe last night
01:12and it was made in a meal of Parmesan and you really couldn't eat it but I also love a
01:19carbonara and stuff and dishes like that but I mean even down to the salads they're all very delicious.
01:25I love the meats. I love the meats. I love the cheese board. There's so many things I could say.
01:32I cook for him. I cook for him anytime that we are together that is for sure.
01:38Red is a funny eater. He definitely is one of those guys that eats to survive.
01:44His favorite food I would say is sushi so definitely not Italian but he loves the pasta. He loves the
01:50pizza.
01:51And he definitely loves the prosciutto. It's one of his favorite foods.
01:57So yes but I cook for him anytime we are together.
