00:00has changed and we need to change with it to make sure our federal law enforcement officers
00:03and their families are protected. My next question is for Director Lines. Body cameras have been
00:09deployed in Minnesota. I think transparency helps regain public trust. Is there any plan to release
00:15any of the footage to the public? 100%, sir. That's one thing that I'm committed to is the
00:21full transparency and I fully welcome body cameras all across the spectrum in all of our law
00:27enforcement activities. Yes, sir. Body camera footage will be released. I agree with you
00:32completely. Everyone assumes this body camera footage is bad footage. In so many cases, it's
00:38the exact opposite and we get a show from the officer's lens what exactly they're dealing with
00:44on a daily basis, not just a 15-second clip we see on TikTok or whatever it may be. I'm very
00:50pleased to hear the releasing of more public footage. My next question is for you, Commissioner
00:56Scott. As a member of Congress, I have a very similar, all of us, the question is really
01:00for all of us. As a member of Congress, what can I do to make sure what happened in Minnesota
01:06doesn't happen in my community? Put laws in place to protect our officers and agents so
01:11they can go out and do their job confidently and know they really truly have the backing.
01:16And then, I got to plug it, actually fund the programs. So when body cameras got rolled out
01:21to CBP, the technical capability, the camera got rolled out, but the funding for the personnel
01:26to support the programs and the data, that can drain basically all your other operations.
01:32So fund the entire program so that we can be transparent and that we can make sure America
01:38knows what we're doing because that trust is critically important.
01:42Thank you for that. My next question is to Director Edlo. Too many times we talk about
01:46the enforcement side, which I think is very important. We see the millions of criminal aliens that
01:50are loose in our country. We got to go out there and keep our community safe. But we need to be
01:54talking more about the legal aspect of it, the people that are doing it the right way.
01:57I was very encouraged to see 65,000 visas get released not too long ago. The question I have is,
02:04what are the details? What is the timeline behind that? What is the purpose of those?
02:08Can you specifically speak to the legal visa process?
02:13Well, you're referring to the 65,000 that were the supplemental H-2Bs.
02:18That's exactly right. That's a, there's 60,000 or 65,000, 66,000, excuse me, that go out every year
02:24at two times in the year. And then Congress has for many, many years, given the department, the
02:30authority through the secretary to increase that based on the needs of the country.
02:35So that, that those visas were released. I don't remember exactly when the-
02:41Gentlemen, time has expired. I apologize. And again, any questions? I know I'm,
02:46I'm being tight on the rules. We have to be, uh, there's a lot of questions we want to get through.
