00:13And welcome to Titan Quest Chapter 3 Arcadia Plains, the exciting new update that brings
00:18you, our hero, to Olympus and onward to your toughest challenge yet.
00:26The beginning of your journey will see you traverse the home of the gods, where you can
00:29speak with multiple characters from myth, take in the ethereal ancient architecture, and
00:34prepare yourself for the trials ahead.
00:40Amongst the inhabitants of Olympus, you will find Daedalus, at the Forge for trading and
00:44a new side quest, Orion and Scorpius, and Hephaestus, god of the Forge and cousin of Arion.
00:52Hephaestus will usher you forward to the world ahead, though each character helps you understand
00:56this strange new plane that you will be exploring, so be sure to meet them all.
01:03As you once again embark forward, you will find yourself at the occupied city of Tagia, a once
01:08beautiful settlement of peace and prosperity, now subdued by the rule of the callous centaurs
01:13and their leader Centaurus.
01:15While the people of Tagia are resisting the regime, it will be up to you to reclaim their
01:20security and freedom.
01:23Though all is not lost for Tagia, by infiltrating the city via the trap-laden sewers, and with
01:28the aid of the cunning skiller and her abilities, you may reach the center and light the beacon
01:32of champions, and bind the proud centaur army to a duel, a contest of champions.
01:38Win, and the centaurs will stop their aggression.
01:41Lose, and the city will be forced to submit.
01:43But be warned, champion, this fight will take all you have, so be prepared.
01:49Before we dive into the duel, let's take a look at the enemies and combat of the Arcadian
01:55Plains.
01:56New wildlife fills the roaming areas such as lions and scorpions.
02:00We've also added more powerful variants of existing creatures like eagles and cobras
02:06to make their encounters more engaging.
02:08Taking a look at our newest foe, in combat, centaurs are individually strong, and nearly
02:14all of them have the ability to charge or kick you.
02:17They will generally form small, hard-hitting groups in an attempt to overpower you.
02:23The centaur hunter is a precision specialist, able to swap between a spear and a bow, and
02:29has a net to snare enemies with.
02:31The centaur spirit caller is able to summon centaur spirits, as well as heal allies.
02:37So you may want to aim for them first.
02:40The centaur chieftain builds dual flaming axes, and has overwhelmingly powerful combo attacks,
02:47as well as the mark ability, reducing resistances.
02:51Later in the chapter, you will also encounter the ferocious boarmen.
02:55A smaller faction that tends to work with other factions, doubling their lethality.
03:00Bormen axe throwers do exactly what you would expect, but they also throw dung grenades at you,
03:07that then splits into smaller, stinky bits.
03:10Nasty.
03:11Bormen shield bearers are tanky creatures that can absorb damage taken by their allies,
03:16and increase their own resilience by raising their shield.
03:20Bormen geomancers are casters able to have rock spikes burst out of the ground,
03:26as well as summon a large boulder to hurl at you with their magic.
03:34We have added 24 new enemies in total, and we can't wait for you to get to fight them all.
03:43Back at the arena, you will be taking on Skirion, the centaur champion.
03:47This duel will attract quite the crowd.
03:50You'll be surrounded by enemies calling for your blood, but don't let it get into your head.
03:55You'll need to focus.
03:57We're starting off with simple axe attacks and stops, but in phase 2, the gloves come off.
04:03Skirion swaps to his fire and ice maces, casts earthquakes and flame spikes,
04:09and creates fire and ice explosions around himself.
04:13Dodge these, use the openings between and during attacks to your advantage,
04:17and you may just succeed.
04:19There are a total of 4 boss fights in this chapter.
