Pin collecting fuels Olympic spirit at the Winter Games  Olympic pin collecting enthusiasts queue for hours for the chance to snag one of 250 free 2026 Milan Winter Olympic pins. The hobby has become a key part of the Games' culture, as fans travel around the world to attend in the hope of adding to their collections. “Sometimes I wonder why my wife still stays with me,” jokes Edwin Schneider, who said he has accumulated at least 25,000 pins after attending 14 games as a collector. 00:28I discovered people's fanaticism for pins at the Paris Olympics, I got one as a gift and then somebody asked to trade me for another pin and all of a sudden it just started, you met different people from all around the world, they had some of their own pins for their own countries and I thought it was really cool to share in the joy of the Olympics with pins.
