01:07Moth Frolic Fest.
01:11Man, oh man.
01:12Those butterflies knew how to frolic.
01:15Best butterfly frolic fun yet, friends.
01:20It's just too bad Hal had to go to the groomers today.
01:23Tis true.
01:25Nobody enjoys frolicking with butterflies more than our Hal.
01:29Oh man, he'll be so sad he missed it.
01:31I'm back, baby.
01:33It's Hal.
01:34Well, ooh, maybe we'd better not tell him.
01:37I don't want him to feel bad and we all know how bad he'd feel.
01:41Ta-da!
01:42So what do you think?
01:44Stylish.
01:45Mmm, chic love.
01:46Frolicky!
01:47Huh?
01:49Nothing.
01:50I said nothing.
01:51I most certainly did not say frolicky.
01:52No, frolicky.
01:53No, not frolicky.
01:55I said not frolicky while saying frolicky.
01:56Frolicky.
01:57Wait a minute.
01:59Something's different.
02:00Uh, different?
02:02Nothing's different here.
02:03Same old, same old.
02:04Frolicky.
02:04I smell something familiar.
02:12Must be my natural mask.
02:15No, it smells like something with wings.
02:20Smells like cinnamon.
02:22No, frolicking!
02:24You can smell frolicking?
02:26Uh-huh.
02:27Smells like somebody was frolicking with butterflies?
02:31Oh, I can't keep it from my best buddy.
02:33It is true.
02:35We were frolicking.
02:37With butterflies!
02:41No!
02:44Yes, Hal.
02:45Uh, well, a few butterflies flew by,
02:48and then a few more came,
02:49and then before we knew it,
02:50it turned into a full-out butterfly frolic fest.
02:54Oh, I can't believe I missed a full-out butterfly frolic fest.
02:59Oh, please don't cry, old friend.
03:01I know, maybe it's not too late.
03:03Maybe we can find more butterflies to frolic with.
03:06Yes, of course.
03:07There's got to be some more butterflies around.
03:09Oh, butterflies, it's me, Hal.
03:12Come on, butterflies, frolic with me.
03:14Tiddly-diddly-dee.
03:16Oh, I don't think it's going to work, Hal.
03:19It's dusk, and it says here
03:21that butterflies are only active during the day.
03:24Oh, but I've got a frolic itch that just needs to be scratched.
03:28Don't give up, Hal.
03:29Maybe we can think of some other way to soothe your frolicking itch.
03:32Oh, I know.
03:33How about moths?
03:35Moth.
03:36What's a moth?
03:38Is that even a word?
03:39Moth.
03:40Moths are kind of like butterflies,
03:42and they mostly come out at night.
03:44They do?
03:45Oh, Dez, you're right.
03:47They flutter and they fly a little like butterflies.
03:50Maybe they're good frolicers.
03:52Okay, settle down.
03:53Just relax.
03:53I'll be the judge of that.
03:54All right, then, gang.
03:56Let's go find Hal a moth to frolic with.
03:59Onward and mothward.
04:07Oh, moth!
04:09Oh, moth, where doth you hide tonight?
04:11Come out and see us in the moonlight.
04:14Where are you, moth?
04:18Uh-huh.
04:20Whoa!
04:21Whoa!
04:22Here, mothy, mothy, moth.
04:33I don't see moths anywhere.
04:35What gives, man?
04:36I don't know.
04:38Moths are supposed to be out at this time of day.
04:40Are you sure moths are even real?
04:44Moths doesn't sound real.
04:46Psst.
04:46Hey, bud.
04:48Yes, we're for real.
04:50Wait, who said that?
04:51Psst.
04:52Over here.
04:53Right over here.
04:54I think the voice is coming from that log.
04:58It's me.
04:59Hey, it's a talking leaf.
05:00Hi, talking leaf.
05:01It's me talking dog.
05:03Al.
05:03Shh, not so loud, Al.
05:06I'm not a leaf at all.
05:07I'm a moth pretending to be a leaf.
05:10God, we found a moth.
05:11Guys, over here.
05:12Quick, quick, quick, quick, quick.
05:13We found a moth.
05:14A real moth.
05:16Shh.
05:16Come on.
05:17Keep it down, would you?
05:19Oops.
05:19Sorry.
05:20I'm sorry.
05:21Hey, psst.
05:21Why are we pretending to be a leaf?
05:23The name's Morton, and I'm mimicking a leaf.
05:28Mimic?
05:28Is that anything like frolic?
05:30No, Hal.
05:32Mimic means to act or look like something else.
05:35Exactamundo.
05:36I look like a leaf, which bats and other critters don't want to eat, so they leave me alone.
05:41Not too shabby, huh?
05:43Whoa-ho-ho!
05:45Moths are super cool!
05:48Don't you think, Hal?
05:49Huh?
05:49I don't know.
05:51I mean, maybe?
05:52Is that all moths do?
05:54Mimic leaves?
05:56What, are you kidding?
05:57Lots of moths mimic lots of different things.
06:00Like what?
06:01I shouldn't tell you this, because I'll blow their cover, but there are moth mimics all around you.
06:07Where?
06:08Where?
06:09Shh, keep it cool.
06:10Keep it cool.
06:11Right, right, right, just act cool.
06:13Ayy, so cool.
06:16Good.
06:16Now check this out.
06:17That's Gwen over there.
06:19She's a moth mimicking a bee.
06:22Whoa, man, that blows my mind.
06:24I thought that was a bee.
06:26That's how I roll.
06:27And over there, that's Andrew.
06:29You're not going to believe this, but he's mimicking bird poop.
06:33Bravo, Andrew.
06:35Really convincing job.
06:37You really do look like, you know.
06:40Ew.
06:41Ew.
06:41Thank you, sir.
06:44Man, oh man, how cool is this, Hal?
06:47Moths, am I right?
06:49Give me some what?
06:50Well, I'll admit moths are pretty cool with this mimicking thing, but they look a lot less like butterflies than I thought they would.
06:58Just not sure they can frolic, you know?
07:01I mean, really frolic, you see?
07:04See, those moths' antennae are kind of feathery and pointy, and the butterflies' antennae start skinny and then get fatter at the tip.
07:11That's true.
07:12And the butterflies have thin bodies, and the moths have thick little bodies.
07:16Very nice observation, Hal.
07:18And butterflies keep their wings upright and close together when resting, while moths rest their wings on their sides.
07:25I have no idea what I just said.
07:27We might look different than butterflies, but we're just as cool.
07:31Oh, I'd love to hear more about that.
07:33Why don't you sing it to me?
07:34We are flying creatures in the skies, we are different than the butterflies, and out at night we're attracted toward the light.
07:45We're coming many colors, shapes, and sizes too.
07:49How about red, brown, and blue?
07:52And it's time for everyone to know our name.
07:55All right.
07:56We're moths, we're moths, we're moths, we're moths, moths, moths, moths, moths, moths.
08:02We're magnificently marvelous, we're moths.
08:07Some of us fly during the day, most of us like to fly by night.
08:13You'll see us by the light of a silvery moon.
08:17We start as eggs at an early age, then caterpillars at the lava stage.
08:24And when we all emerge from our cocoons, we're moths, we're moths.
08:30We're moths, moths, moths, moths, moths, moths.
08:34We're magnificently marvelous, we're moths.
08:38Some creatures like to eat us, true.
08:42So here's the thing we have to do.
08:45We protect ourselves, it's time you got the scoop.
08:49We're camouflaged, we entertain.
08:52Our kinds of things are really great, yeah.
08:56Can look like bees, leaves, even birds, you know.
08:59We're moths, we're moths, we're moth, moth, moth, moth, moths.
09:06We're magnificently marvelous, we're moths, we're magnificently marvelous, we're moths.
09:14We're M-O-T-H, moths.
09:19Wow, great song.
09:20You moths really are magnificent and marvelous.
09:23Thank you, Al.
09:24Okay, and I just have one more question, okay, just real quick.
09:28Can you frolic with me, like right now, like immediately?
09:29Please frolic with me!
09:31Bat!
09:35Morton, where'd you go?
09:36Don't you want to frolic?
09:37Psst, I'm down here.
09:40It might not be such a great idea for me to do anything but mimic a leaf right now.
09:44I don't really feel like being that bat's dinner.
09:46I understand.
09:48I guess I'll never be able to frolic with a moth.
09:51Psst, don't give up, kid.
09:52If you find a place without animals that like to eat moths, maybe you can attract moths to frolic with you.
09:59Great idea!
10:00Where's like a good, safe place?
10:02How do I attract moths?
10:04Can't talk now.
10:05Gotta mimic.
10:06Good luck, kid.
10:08Hey, we gotta leave these moths alone.
10:10Moths gotta be moths, right?
10:12Okay, but what do we do?
10:14You shan't worry, my dear good dog friend.
10:17I know a safe place and then we'll do some investigating.
10:21Tally-ho!
10:23Now, how do we attract moths to our fair backyard for how to frolic with?
10:30Hurry!
10:31I need to frolic with them!
10:32I need to frolic with them!
10:33Do you not understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?
10:37I need to frolic with them!
10:39I know what to do!
10:41Moths, come out to play-yay!
10:46Moths, come out to play-yay!
10:49It's working!
10:50Hey, look at all the pretty mothies.
10:58Yeah, I don't think I'm gonna be frolicking anytime soon.
11:01Hey, guys!
11:02I got it!
11:02I found a way to attract moths!
11:04So, boy!
11:06Old bananas!
11:08We got old bananas!
11:09Brown sugar!
11:10Brown sugar!
11:12Fruit juice and molasses!
11:13Fruit juice and molasses!
11:15Now, we mix it up into moth bait!
11:18Come on, guys!
11:19Let's paint!
11:22Okay!
11:23We painted the moth bait on the trees!
11:26Now, what do we do?
11:27Now, we wait!
11:31Hey!
11:32Hey!
11:32Hey!
11:32Any moths yet, Squeaks?
11:33Not yet, Hal!
11:35Okay!
11:35Any moths yet, Daisy?
11:37Not yet, Hal!
11:38Okay!
11:38Any moths yet, Nature Cat?
11:40Not yet, Hal!
11:42Okay!
11:43Any moths yet, Moth?
11:44Oh!
11:45Roby-bush-moby!
11:46It's a moth!
11:47Hi, moths!
11:48It's me, Hal!
11:49Ah!
11:49There's two more, Hal!
11:51Ooh!
11:52It says here they're hawkmoths!
11:54Amazing!
11:56Moths, I have one very important question!
11:59Will you frolic with me?
12:01Come on, moths!
12:02D-d-d-d!
12:03Frolic with me!
12:04Did-de-de-de-de-de!
12:05Ooh!

12:07Hooray!
12:08Frolic with me!
12:12Dune patrol!
12:14Ha-ha!
12:18Yeah!
12:19There is nothing like the beach!
12:21What he said, baby!
12:23I love the way the warm sand feels beneath my doggy toesies!
12:28Ho-ho-ho!
12:29Ho!
12:29And I love the way the wind whips the salty sea spray off the ocean!
12:34So refreshing!
12:36Guys, we're dancing around the most important part!
12:39Ho-ho-ho!
12:39No waves for me today, gang!
12:45Thank you very much!
12:46Now, who's ready to play some catch?
12:49Oh, pick me!
12:50Pick me!
12:50I'm ready!
12:50I'm so ready!
12:51I pick hell!
12:53Go long!
13:00It's up there!
13:02Last one at the top of the sandy hill is a multi-tender!
13:05Not that there's anything wrong with that!
13:06What's wrong, little bird?
13:14You can't go up there!
13:16That hill is a sand dune, and just walking on it can hurt it!
13:20It could fall apart!
13:21Use the pathway, please!
13:23Huh?
13:23Okay!
13:24Woo-hoo!
13:25Woo-hoo!
13:26Woo-hoo!
13:27Woo-hoo!
13:28Woo-hoo!
13:29Woo-hoo!
13:30Woo-hoo!
13:31Thanks, Mr. Dog!
13:32It's just that the sand dune is very important.
13:35Uh, no offense, Mrs. Clover.
13:37Is it...
13:38It just looks like a hill of sand to me!
13:40What makes the sand dune so important?
13:42Allow me to explain...
13:45Well, please explain in song form, maybe.
13:47Wink, wink!
13:48You read my mind, Mr. Dog!
13:49Hit it!
13:50Dune, dune, dune, dune, dune dune, dune, dune, dune!
13:52Dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune!
13:57This dune acts as a barrier, blocks the sea and all its foam.
14:00It helps hold back the ocean, yes, this dune protects our home!
14:04Dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune!
14:07Stails the dune!
14:08Dune, dune, dune, dune!
14:09Dune, dune!
14:10Dune, dune, dune!
14:11Stay up the dune!
14:12Dune, dune, dune, protect the dune, dune, dune, dune, let's fear it for the dune, dune, dune, dune.
14:17Dunes are like big storage bins, they store up lots of sand, they help replenish beaches, so let's give those dunes a hand.
14:25Dunes make great habitats, we think that dunes are best.
14:28When we're tired from migrating, oh we need a place to nest.
14:33Dunes are very fragile, you can ruin them with your feet.
14:36So please don't walk upon them, I'll keep those sand dunes sweet.
14:40Dune, dune, dune, dune, stay off the dune, dune, dune, protect the dune, dune, dune, dune, let's hear it for the dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, yeah.
14:50Dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, dune, ha.
14:55I had a nest on another beach, but it was washed away by a big storm.
15:00There was no dune to protect it, I need this dune to protect my nest here.
15:05Agreed, little bird, we now understand these fragile dunes are important,
15:09and need protection.
15:11Yeah, we love sand dunes.
15:13We love you, sand dunes.
15:15Stay sandy.
15:16Guys, we gotta make sure no one ruins the dunes.
15:20Okay, okay, I get it.
15:21Agreed.
15:22But how do we do it?
15:23I know.
15:24We become the Dune Patrol.
15:30From the break of day till the rise of moon,
15:34you know we'll protect this dune.
15:36Ah, we're gonna crash into the dune!
15:41Go, go, go, watch, gang!
15:43Tally-ho!
15:45Woo-hoo!
15:46It's sand surfing time for the Ronald.
15:49Uh-huh.
15:51Whoa!
15:55What in the world just hit me?
15:58Oh, I should have known.
16:00Hello, nature cat.
16:02Hello, Ronald.
16:04What crazy big game are you playing here anyway?
16:08It's no game.
16:10We're on Dune Patrol.
16:11We protect the dunes.
16:13I don't even know what a dune is.
16:16Oh, they're so cool.
16:18What they are is don't have time to listen
16:19and don't really care.
16:21I'm going sand surfing on that huge sand hill over there.
16:25Okay, have fun, Ronald.
16:27Maybe we'll join you.
16:29Oh, surfing on a sand hill sure does sound like fun.
16:32You got that right.
16:33Sand hill surfing sounds like big time fun.
16:36You guys know what a sand hill is, don't you?
16:41The sand dune.
16:43Ronald's going to climb up and surf down the sand dune.
16:46We have to stop Ronald's!
16:49Dune Patrol!
16:52Ronald!
16:53Get down from there this instant!
16:56The sand is sliding down!
16:58Get down from here?
17:00What?
17:01Oh, he's just jealous he can't sand surf.
17:05What do we do?
17:06What do we do?
17:06We've got to get him off that dune!
17:08Freeze, mister!
17:09Why am I freezing?
17:11If we climb the dune, we may cause more damage.
17:17Daisy's right, team.
17:18We need to figure out a way to stop Ronald
17:20from surfing down the dune
17:22without disturbing it ourselves.
17:25A few more steps
17:27and the Ronald will be surfing in the sand.
17:29Hurry!
17:30How do we stop him?
17:31Ronald's almost at the top!
17:33Aha!
17:34I have an idea.
17:36Quick, fly me.
17:38Dune Patrol, help!
17:40Oh!
17:41Hey!
17:42What are you doing?
17:43Saving the day and the dune!
17:46Ha-ha!
17:47Nothing can stop me now!
17:49Oh, no!
17:52They're gonna crash into the dune!
17:54Paul!
17:56Uh-oh!
17:57Huh?
18:01Why did you stop me
18:02from surfing down that awesome sand hill?
18:05Because, Ronald,
18:06that so-called sand hill
18:08is actually a sand dune
18:10and you may not surf on it!
18:13Why not, Squeaks?
18:15Because, Ronald,
18:17sand dunes are important!
18:19They protect the beaches
18:20from storms and...
18:21You know what else is important?
18:23The Ronald having fun on the beach!
18:26Toodle-a-to-the-oo!
18:27You're walking away.
18:28Nice job saving the sand dune,
18:32dune patrol!
18:33Way to stay frosty!
18:35But our job is not done yet!
18:36Dune patrol!
18:37Ho!
18:40In May December or in June,
18:42you know we'll protect the dune!
18:44Uh, guys?
18:46What's that sound?
18:49What in the world is that?
18:51Oh, no!
18:54It's Ronald!
18:57He's riding in some kind of tiny car!
19:00Oh, and he's wearing a cool helmet!
19:05It's not now!
19:06I'm going to ride my dune buggy
19:08on the sand dune!
19:10Oh, he's riding his dune buggy
19:11on the sand dune!
19:12Riding his dune buggy
19:13on the sand dune?
19:15Man, oh, man!
19:16We gotta stop him!
19:18Dune patrol!
19:19Ho!
19:21Oh, Rats!
19:25We'll never catch him!
19:27He's going too fast!
19:28I know what to do!
19:30Hop on!
19:32Amazing work, Daisy!
19:34Let's ride.
19:35He's heading for the dune!
19:38Oh, sweet sand dune!
