00:00Inspiration!
00:02Come!
00:13Hi there, I'm Damian Ryan, I'm the Artistic Director of Sport for Joe Theatre Company
00:17and this is where we make theatre.
00:20It's a joy working outdoors and we're thrilled to be working with Marigong Theatre Company.
00:23It's a partnership that we've loved over the years.
00:25As you can see we've been coming here for a few years
00:27and it's an incredible experience, I think, to do Shakespeare outdoors.
00:31These plays were written for the outdoors, they were written for a huge theatre with a hole in the roof
00:36and Shakespeare continually references the natural environment, the cosmos, the bird life, the animal life,
00:42what's beneath us in the earth and so it's a fantastic experience coming out into this beautiful environment
00:48and seeing a wonderful cast here in this beautiful Turkish setting.
00:52The play, of course, The Comedy of Errors is our season for this year.
00:56It's our 17th annual Shakespeare Festival, the first time we've partnered with Marigong for it
01:00so we're absolutely thrilled to be here.
01:02Don't miss out because it's such a wonderful opportunity.
01:05Come, have some wine, some cheese, sit with your friends on a rug and have a wonderful laugh.
01:10Let me fasten on the sleeve of mine. Thou art an elm, my husband, I abide.
01:20If aught possess thee from me, it is dross, usurping ivy, briar or idle moss,
01:27who all for want of pruning with intrusion infects thy sap, then live on my conclusion.
01:36To me she speaks, she moves me for her theme. What, was I married to her in my dream?
01:42Or sleep I now and think I hear all this? Who's he talking to?
01:46What error drives our eyes and ears amiss? Until I know this sure uncertainty,
01:52I'll entertain the offered fallacy.
01:57And cut!
01:58Dumbach, Dumbach, Dumbach, Dumbach.
02:00Dumbach, Dumbach!
02:08Eas partnerships with ė§ģģ and direct suggestions.
02:10Bonaches!
