00:00Hey, oh, these chairs. I know. I'm just trying to make sure I don't fall. How are you guys doing today?
00:09All right, come on. Last panel of the day. We need more energy.
00:14That's what I'm talking about. All right, so this is like our sister, sister panel.
00:20Partner in prime. So it's about how you and your sister, your bestie, really just take and elevate
00:26each other and take yourselves to the next level. So without further ado, let's get started.
00:34So we want the inside scoop, like on what it's like working with your sister, what your relationship
00:40is like. And you guys have both had viral videos blow up. What has it been like showing off your
00:47chemistry and your humor? And what's the secret? Give everybody the tea.
00:56Take it away. You got it first. No, I think that how we enter content in general is just
01:04from the basis of our relationship. And we've always, even though we came into content creation,
01:09maybe like bigger a few years ago, we've always like made dances and videos, you know, like when
01:15you're kids and you're like, oh, let's do this in the garage. And you pull every parent in the
01:19neighborhood, you know what I mean, to come watch you like we would always do those little things.
01:22And so I think we just, when it comes to content, we just put it out there authentically of like
01:28what we already do.
01:30I love it.
01:31Very that.
01:33That was great.
01:34You summed it up for me as well.
01:36Yeah.
01:38So which one of you guys like is like the very type A person and who's like type B?
01:44Because there's always that sister that's type A and that sister that's type B. And you'll
01:48probably like know which one we are.
01:50By the end of this panel, you will know whether or not I'm type A or whether or not Rochelle
01:54is the type A one. It'll be very evident. I promise.
01:57No, I'm very type B. Go with the flow. Unorganized. Everything's everywhere.
02:04It works. It works for you.
02:06It's organized chaos. You know, I've done this my entire life and I've made it this far.
02:11So it's working for me. But yeah.
02:14You're up here.
02:15I'm here.
02:15It's working.
02:16But yeah. So no, Sydney's very, she's a type A sister.
02:20Yeah, I'm definitely more type A, but I have my moments.
02:22Yeah.
02:22Yeah.
02:23Yeah.
02:27So what's one thing fans might be surprised to learn about your relationship as sisters
02:32behind the scenes?
02:37I don't know.
02:38I feel like we're very authentically ourselves on social media and our relationship is very
02:46similar to what we show on our social media accounts. So I don't think that there's anything
02:53that people would be like super like, oh my God, to hear. That's like something that's
03:00like insane. Yeah. The way we present ourselves is very much who we are.
03:04Yeah. Yeah. We obviously have like, you know, family, private moments and things like that.
03:09And we, we don't really fight that much either. So when people may, you know, see us on social
03:13media and they're like, are you guys really like this all the time? Yeah, we are.
03:18What's the last fight y'all got into?
03:22I think it was yesterday.
03:23Was it yesterday?
03:24Yeah. I don't remember what it was, but I remember we were at dinner at our hotel.
03:30Oh yeah.
03:31And I went silent because it's like, I was like, are you good?
03:35No.
03:35You're like, my feelings are hurt.
03:37You hurt my feelings.
03:37And I was like, oh, whatever.
03:39We got it, but it was quick.
03:41Yeah.
03:41It was like three minutes later.
03:43You were like car wheeling in the hallway.
03:44Let's go.
03:44That's amazing. So speaking of navigating differences, how do you guys navigate your
03:50creative differences and ensure that the way that you want to show up on social media and
03:55through your content rings through and is very authentic despite working together on a lot of
03:59content?
04:01I think when we do create content together, since we're sisters, it's really easy to be
04:09honest and blunt. Like I don't have to be like, let's try this instead. I'm like, Sydney,
04:13this is disgusting and it's not working. Like we have to do something like this. I hate
04:17this. Like let's do something else. So I think just being honest and depending on which content
04:24is going on, which sister's account depends on who's like leading the conversation of the
04:33type of the vibe and like what everything is. So I think we also understand that as a
04:38base and just follow the other's lead depending.
04:41Yeah. We also just like do a lot of like improv. So there's not a lot of planning a lot of the
04:46times either. Like we did this video where we were talking about the magic school bus,
04:50if you, you know, and we were talking about like, we were kids who like survived to that
04:54class or something. And we were just, it was a conversation we were having and we were like,
04:59let's tape this cause this is so dumb. And then we did and it went crazy. So it was cool.
05:03It was fun. So it's almost like our parents are like the best like collaborators because they
05:09give you like this bonus, like built in front. Exactly. So it's like, shout out to the mom and
05:16dad collaborations out there. Thank you.
05:19Right. So like, have you guys ever gotten to a place where you guys were like,
05:25I think that you should do it this way. Like how, what is your way of being honest with your sister
05:31and also being and having kind of that constructive input?
05:37I don't, we just trust each other a lot. So there's not a lot of times where like you said
05:44earlier, like being blunt, we just, I don't, I don't know. We don't ever try to hurt each other's
05:49feelings or anything, but we also have our own visions and our own kind of humor and how we
05:54express it. So if I'm helping her with something and I'm like, this is kind of weird that she's
05:59like, well, it's what I want to do. And so, so that's just how that works. Not a lot of like
06:03control or having to navigate. We just listen to each other really. Yeah, absolutely. Because
06:09typically if we're helping the other one film for something, they have the vision and they know
06:13what they want it to look like. So having that trust and being like, this is wild, especially
06:18with my videos, sometimes filming them, it's really odd, but you have to just trust the process
06:23and it comes together and editing for sure. But I think that's, what's really great about your
06:29videos, right? You've built a very strong social media following and presence based off of these
06:35super niche, yet very understandable and realistic videos, videos that touch on things like what
06:42it feels like to create a specific phrase. What does that person feel like when they made
06:46this phrase? So what is it, what is the process of creating this content? How do you come up
06:52with these ideas? Do they just come to your mind? Absolutely. They just kind of, they just
06:57fizzle in and I'm like, wait, literally off the cuff. I could be about to go to bed or in the shower
07:03and I'll be like, I need to write this down because I will like just awaken and write it down. No, but
07:11ever since I was younger, I've been weird and in so many fun ways. And I think as I've gotten older,
07:18I've been more comfortable exploring my quote unquote weirdness and being outside of the box. And
07:26growing up, I always gave personalities and names to inanimate objects and like random little
07:31things. And I think... You don't hear voices, do you? No. Just not yet. Not as, not as of late.
07:39Who knows what the future holds? No, but yeah. And so I look at things and I look at phrases. I also
07:46really enjoy like history and mythology. And I imagine what it would be like in that time,
07:52but like fun. Cause we grew up on parody films and I like to take the humor out of everything.
07:59So that's my biggest thing. So I like saw the word black licorice the other day and I was like,
08:03oh, that's a diva. Oh, she is. No, black licorice does sound like a diva. Black licorice is like,
08:10what is her stories? It's just like random things like that, but that I feel cultivate.
08:15Okay. I absolutely love your mind. And I need to know, like, was there any hesitation or a thought
08:23process behind your first weird video being posted? Was it like sitting in your drafts for a moment and
08:30you were like, I don't know if I need to let people see this side of me. I don't know if I'm
08:33ready to broadcast this for the world to see. Like what was, what was the process of just posting that
08:39first video? Absolutely. I, I, I started social media in my college dorm room because my roommate
08:46was never there and I was just by myself often. Um, and I truly, I was like, oh my God, what are
08:53people going to think? Like my friends I went to school with cause like, this is a side that I feel
08:57like has been reserved for like my family and, and, and close, close people. Um, but then at the end of
09:04the day I was like, I don't care. I'm just going to live life. Someone's going to enjoy this somewhere.
09:09I hope. Um, and then people did, people really liked it. And, and I just kept getting weirder
09:14and weirder with my videos. And I was like, how far, how weird can this get further? Yeah,
09:20but yeah, that's, that's really, but they're absolutely is sometimes even hesitate now. I'm
09:28like, is this, is this even funny or is this only entertaining to me? Like, oh, people will get it.
09:33And, but so absolutely. But at the end of the day, I'm like, it's fun. I enjoy this. I enjoy sharing it.
09:38I enjoy entertaining people. And yeah. That's the beautiful thing about the internet. It's like,
09:44sometimes you don't have to find a niche. Like you can be the niche. It doesn't matter how niche
09:47or how weird you are. Somebody's going to find it and somebody's going to love it. Right.
09:52So like going viral, what's that like? Like all of these thoughts, all of these opinions,
09:58all of these comments, like how has that changed you guys' relationship? Has it?
10:05In terms of like going viral, I think in our sector of the internet, like it's, it's like comedy and
10:12humor. So I think, you know, when it's viral people, it's like humor, it's good. Like it's fun.
10:17Um, so usually it's good for us. That's, that's nice. Uh, but for us, it doesn't really,
10:23it's never like affected us negatively or positively. It's just like something funny
10:27to laugh at. Do you think? I agree. I, yeah, I agree. I think going viral, it hasn't changed,
10:35um, us or our dynamic or anything. If anything, it's just, it's, I, I enjoy when our, when our videos
10:43do well, because we get to connect with other people who are, who are like us or who, especially
10:48like our sister videos, who are like talk about their sisters or their siblings and things like
10:53that. So I love seeing that in the comment section and seeing the repost and the shares.
10:58I feel like when the videos do really well, it, it's like, um, I don't know, a reward in a way,
11:04but it just like, it's a good feeling because you know, like Snapchat, like back in the day,
11:10Snapchat, right? Yeah. It's still you. It is. My little sister's always on Snapchat.
11:14No, yeah. The kids are on Snapchat. It's crazy. Lord knows what they're doing on there. Who knows
11:18what they're doing on Snapchat? It's scary. But like, you know, you have like your friends on
11:21there and I would post her on my Snapchat all the time. So I would feel like they were viral anyway,
11:25just because they were fun, you know? So. That's amazing. So Sydney, you straddle between the
11:31world of the internet, but also Hollywood. Your acting career has been taking off. You featured in
11:36power book to ghost as well as Grey's anatomy, which of course demands a different type of
11:41vulnerability than the internet and then social media. So how do you navigate the different types
11:46of performances that you're putting out to an audience, whether that be on the screen or online?
11:52I, well, I started social media because I was an actor. Like I wanted to have an outlet for my
11:58creativity when I wasn't on set somewhere or auditioning. Um, and I, I wanted to show like who I
12:04was more sort of like what was funny to me. And if you saw those videos, Lord, they're private now,
12:09but they were crazy. I was, I was like crawling out of cabinets. I don't know what I was doing,
12:14but it was fun and it like caught on. Um, but when it comes to the other side, I think when you're an
12:20actor and you train in acting, you're, you know, you're taught how to go into yourself to be other
12:25people. So, um, it's very different, you know? So you can, I also think that it helps with, um,
12:31what is it like, uh, typecasting. So if someone sees you this way and they have,
12:38they don't know your personality, you know, you'll probably get typecast as this certain
12:42character, but social media is helping a lot of content creators and influencers who are also
12:46actors or want to be actors, um, get into that field because it's showing them like different,
12:52uh, assets or aspects of their personality and people they can portray.
12:56Yeah. That's a really great point. I've never thought about that.
13:00So what does supporting each other look like? Like, what does that mean to each one of you guys?
13:05How do you support your sister and how do you, you know, love her to support you? Cause I think
13:10that's also very important as you guys move through content creation, you into acting,
13:15what does that look like for you guys?
13:18Yes. I, Oh no, go ahead. Thank you. I think listening, just being there and listening to
13:25whatever, like communication, whatever she needs. Like she's the first person I tell any good news
13:30to, like if I'm on the phone and I find out I booked something, like we're screaming together,
13:34like we're jumping together. You know what I mean? So, and it's, it's just all so real and genuine.
13:40Very that I agree. It's all about communication and listening to each other. I think also me
13:46personally, I, it takes a lot for me to open up to people and be vulnerable. Um, and that's
13:53something that I need from like my family in particular. And so with Sydney, I can be vulnerable
14:01and I don't have to be on all the time and I can just relax and chill, but also just be absolutely
14:09insane and not feel judged at all. Um, and so support in that way and vice versa with Sydney
14:16as well. So for sure, just like, just allowing, holding space for each other.
14:23Yeah. Oh, that was cute. Sophia, let's do that.
14:26There's a lot of space actually.
14:28Nevermind.
14:31So I would, I have a challenge also that you guys are going to love this, but you guys
14:37are going to love this. How many of you guys have a sibling and they've stolen your style
14:41or they, you come out, they come outside and you see your shirt on them. How many, how many
14:46people have, Oh, I know everybody in this room has this experience. If you got it, only,
14:51only reason you shouldn't be holding your hand is if you're an only child.
14:56I do. Okay. That's my mom.
14:58We got a heckler. So spill the tea on when your sister reheated your nachos and stole your sauce.
15:09I think I've slowly been reheating city's nachos since I came out the womb. Honestly. Um, I,
15:17because Sydney's my older sister. Um, I wanted to be just like her growing up. I wanted to do
15:23everything that she did, went everywhere that she would go. And our parents also made her allow me
15:28to do that. Shout out. Thank you guys so much. And so in a way I, I kind of molded myself to,
15:35to, to, to be like her in a way, um, until I got older and started like finding my own identity
15:40a little. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, but in your own way, you know, you just took a lot, you crunched
15:46on the nachos and, you know, digested them. Right. Added some stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Added some like,
15:51you know, peppers and stuff. Hot dog meat. Yeah. Um, but I, because we, I'm sorry, we also have
15:58like a six year age difference. So when I was like, uh, you know, 13, 14, hanging out with my
16:03friends, they're like, Oh, she has no friends in the neighborhoods. Just take her with you. I'm
16:07like, she's seven. Like, what is she like, what are we going to do? So she's always been super
16:12mature. Like she was always wherever I was mentally. Um, so I think that's, that also is,
16:18you know, I often also did of course take Sydney's clothes and her items and her things without us
16:25and our older sisters too. Oh, absolutely. Yeah. You were in the closet. Wait, how many sisters?
16:31We have an older sister. Older sister. So three. Any brothers? No. All girls? Yeah. We're all
16:36girls too. We're all girls too. And I'm also the third. So I had my pick of the litter when it came
16:42to stealing cream. And I was good at it. Good at it. Oh yeah. Yeah. No, we had some kids. I remember
16:50like in school, the high school would go to school before like the elementary school and the middle
16:55school. And so I'd wait for them to leave. And then I'd go in their rooms and be like,
16:58what am I going to get? But then we'd get home before you. So when you start stomping through
17:04the front door, we're like, what is that? What is that? Sounds like my shoes.
17:11I will say my sister has a really great taste. So if I'm reheating the nachos, just know they're
17:17fire and there's plenty of sauce to go around. So I appreciate that. I feel the same way about you.
17:25And I also feel like being an older sibling, you learn so much from your younger siblings
17:29too. Like it's not just the other way around. Like she puts me on to a bunch of random things.
17:35I'm like, what are you talking? And then you'll see them come into style and trend. And I'm
17:38like, oh. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
17:41No, literally. Our little sister is 15. And let me tell you, we take photos with her and
17:46she eats us up. I'm like, what is this middle schooler doing eating us 20 plus year olds
17:53up? Like what? I can't even post this on Instagram. Like what? She teaches us about makeup, how
18:00to apply makeup, the newest things. Then literally she's, it's insane. It's crazy.
18:05Right. Yeah. And kids these days, they don't go through an ugly face. No, no, they don't.
18:10The ugly faces build character. They're born knowing how to beat a face. It doesn't make
18:15sense. They don't go through the like pink. No, it was like the blue eyeshadow and the Claire's
18:22makeup. Blue eyeshadow with the tank top over the t-shirt. Yeah. Nope.
18:27I learned. Ooh, it was rough. I, ooh. You learned best from your sister though. I remember
18:35like, I would like look at Sophia and be like, okay, like, oh, that's cool how she did that.
18:41Let me, let me try it.
18:44But I don't think anything that I did was something that you would wear.
18:47No. Again, type B, type A. So very different.
18:51It's good to experiment, you know.
18:52Yeah. Like she's all colors, I'm all black. So like, I, I, we're very different. Do you
18:59guys find like very similar ways that you guys are like very different? Like different
19:04in the same at the same time, if that makes sense?
19:06Yeah. Our style, definitely our style these days. It was very much the same for a while
19:11and then she, you know, and then I started, I started branching out and I remember when
19:16I started, oh, branching out. I, from you. Right. From you. No.
19:21And I had like an identity crisis. I remember like telling my mom, I was like crying and
19:25I was like, I don't know who I am anymore. Like, I don't. And she's like, you're just
19:29forming your own. Opinions. Right. Right. No, right. Because you know, like when your,
19:35your mom will ask you, oh, what do you think she wants for Christmas? And she's like, oh,
19:38this. And she's like, I don't know anymore. I don't know. You don't know what looks good.
19:42Right. Yeah. But everyone still comes to me to ask. Right.
19:46What does Sydney want? Right. I'm Sydney. You have her number. I know. Call her.
19:55Sister, sister. You guys have insane chemistry. I feel like it's very obvious when people are
20:03like watching and scrolling through your content. Is that something that's always been the case
20:08or is it something that's kind of developed over time?
20:13Okay. I think, I don't know. I think, I think that's always been that way from what I remember,
20:19but you know, hindsight's 20, 20, who knows what was going on back then really, but I think it's
20:24always been that way. We've always gotten along really well. Yeah. I, I agree. Sydney and I have
20:28always been on the same wavelength and on the same page for basically everything. I think
20:34rarely do we, do we differ in opinions or ideas or things like that. Yeah.
20:42Yeah. I don't think there was ever really a time where it was like, we weren't close. I think we're
20:47just always close. Although when I, cause I remember when my mom, you know, was my parents were having
20:52her, like I was like five and they're like, Oh, what do you want? I was like, Oh, a brother. And
20:56they're like, well, it's a girl. They're like, Oh, well, what do you want to name her? I'm like, Oh,
21:00maybe summer. They're like, well, that's not her name. So I was like, okay. Um, and I don't
21:05remember her really as a baby because I was living my own life, you know, playing with Barbies and
21:10things. So when she came and became like an actual cognizant person is what I was like. Oh,
21:16shoot. Okay. You know? Yeah, exactly. And since then, I think we were always really close.
21:22All right. So my last question is going to be a little different and it's not really a question,
21:30but yeah, it's not really a question, but in so many words, write a love letter to your sister or
21:36talk through a love letter to your sister. I'm going to start crying. I cry. I cry at every,
21:46it's insane. I cry so quickly. It's a gift. It's a, it's a talent. Yeah. You go first.
21:54Um, I don't want to start crying. Okay. Hold on. Um, oh my God. Thank you for,
22:05being my best friend for always being there as a partner, as a family member, sister, someone I can
22:33bounce ideas off of, um, you make life so fun and so easy. And I'm so excited for all the things
22:43happening for you and all the things that people are going to get to see from you and that I get
22:49to be there for it together. Um, I also want to say thank you for being my best friend, being another
23:12mother at times to me for allowing me to learn from you and, and, and, and supported me.
23:30And when, when times were tough and dark and sinister and malevolent, um, and, um, thank you for
23:50always listening and seeing me and hearing me. I am so proud of you and everything that you do.
23:56You are my superstar. You too. And I, I don't, I don't, I wouldn't be here without you. Like I
24:05would not be here or who I am without you. Same.
24:10Thank you so much. That was amazing. That was so cute. Y'all's turn. Yeah. I know, right? Oh God.
24:19Your turn. Go for it. Go for it. Okay. Queen. You can be short. Just say three things you like
24:27about me. Yeah. I love how chaotic you can be. Carefree and consistent. Consistently chaotic and
24:38carefree. Yes. Three C's. All unconnected. Okay. Go ahead. Talk about me now. Talk about me now.
24:45Okay. Oh, three words. I have to, okay. I'm going to try to like. Be nice. So Rochelle is consistent,
24:51but in a way that is like more consistent than my consistent. I'm just like consistently me.
24:57She's consistent at things. Uh, also very much a real one. Like anyone who meets her is like,
25:04oh, wow. She's a real one. Um, I'm trying to think of a good third one.
25:13I know just so many things are coming to your head. There's so many things. I'm like,
25:17what is the, what is the best option? What is the best option to go with?
25:21Gosh. This is the first time I've ever heard her say anything nice about me, by the way.
25:31Of course it's in front of people. Milk it. I'm going to take it. Savor it.
25:37What is a good third one? I'm trying to. Oh, you stuck, stuck. Okay. Well, no,
25:41I'm not that stuck. I'm just like, which one do I want to say? And then how do I want to explain it?
25:45Okay. Okay. I was going to go principled. Very principled. I was going to go principled or disciplined.
25:55Okay. Security. Security. No, Rochelle's very, very principled. And I think that leads into the
26:05consistency part. She's very much like lives by the principles that she has and executes against them.
26:12I'm crying on the inside, truly. But before we go, please tell us what you guys have coming up.
26:22You know, are there any projects in the work, anything that you guys are working on and where,
26:26we all became family in here. So also where everybody can keep up with you too.
26:33I'm on Instagram, Sydney Winbush on Tik TOK, Sid Winnie.
26:37Um, we have a few things coming up, but if you follow us, you'll, you'll, you'll find that out soon.
26:42Really good stuff. Some really fun things.
26:45Nothing that we can officially talk about just yet. Um, but yeah, I, on social media,
26:52um, on Instagram at Casey Winbush and on Tik TOK, Casey Winnie.
26:56That's it. And thank you so much. You guys have been an incredible audience. I hope you guys go home
27:06to your sisters, brothers, and just love on them. Thank you. Thank you. And this was the last panel
