Chinese title: 快樂王子
In this Korean-style 2000s CGI animation (or reminiscent of Japanese 2000s games), a Prince who, after living a life of luxury within the confines of his palace, discovers the suffering of his people. After his death, a statue of the Prince is erected overlooking the city. The statue, covered in gold leaf and precious jewels, becomes a symbol of beauty, but the Prince is saddened by the misery he now sees. Moved by compassion, the Happy Prince enlists the help of a little swallow who is migrating south for the winter. The Prince asks the Swallow to pluck the jewels from his body and distribute them to the poor. The Swallow initially hesitates, but the Prince's genuine sorrow and the plight of the needy convince him to stay and help.
