00:00I mean, these, the characters in this are shakers, and that's how they operate, that's how they survive, that's how they thrive, that's how they worship, that's how they, you know, that's how they move throughout the world.
00:15They have days, they'll go like hours, days, dancing and rinsing, cleansing themselves of their sins and, you know, singing these gift songs that were given to them by God, and that's just, so it's like connecting to them and singing them as they would is less like a musical, like a jukebox musical like Mamma Mia, like where we're just kind of like in a fantasy land where we're singing and then we're like talking again, and it's just like you believe that and you expect that.
00:45But with this, you don't expect it, but it feels so much more natural, you know, because this is what they would be doing, so, and it is like, they're like, they're kind of in a reverie at times as well, but it's just different, and I found my voice in a way that I never had, even after childbirth, it took me the testament of Ann Lee to really find my voice in a way that I think, even my voice coach just like agrees with me, she's like, you sound different.
