00:15Hi, everyone. My name is Ajima Cole. I go by Queen Ajima.
00:19Hey, I see it. I played Elon.
00:23And hi, everyone. I am James M. Black, and I play BJ and also served as the film's cinematographer and editor.
00:34So he didn't just edit, though. Like, me and him sat through hours and hours and hours of color correction, sound design, you know, going through slight changes with the music.
00:45Like, he was literally my post-production team. Like, me and him, man, we had some days.
00:51But we got through it.
00:54If anyone watches Game of Thrones, our dynamic is she's the queen and I'm the hand of the queen.
01:00That's kind of our dynamic.
01:01Well, which queen, no?
01:03Oh, right.
01:04No, but honestly, we all wore so many hats during this project.
01:09You know, I wrote it and directed it.
01:10And, you know, it was something that it just took a lot of follow-through because, like I said, the resources were not there in the beginning.
01:18And we had no idea where they would come from.
01:19But I'm really grateful for my team to just believing in the vision and trusting it, even at times when it seemed uncertain, at times when I sounded crazy, I'm sure.
01:27And they were just like, where are you going with this?
01:29But, you know, I'm grateful to have had the support.
01:33It was a – I mean, everybody here, if you're not a filmmaker or if you are a filmmaker, I mean, it literally started with the EBT, whatever change we had in our pocket.
01:43Late nights, you know, there were times where we lost our place.
01:47We had to sleep in the car, but we still had to get up and shoot, go to the gym, wash up, whatever we had to do.
01:52My car was repossessed during the making of this film.
01:54Yeah, her car got repossessed.
01:55Y'all did everything.
01:57Yeah, we wound up using her car.
02:13Yeah, it was a pretty big part of me, because of me.
