00:25And the message I'm going to be giving to you today is why is church important in your spiritual
00:41walk?
00:47Hmm. Okay, good. The reason why church is important in your spiritual walk is for you to grow spiritually.
01:03And no, you obviously cannot sit at home and just read the Bible and not go to church.
01:13Church is important because that's respecting Jesus Christ.
01:21Because that's Jesus Christ's own life. His own bride.
01:33Bride that we're talking about here.
01:35And some of the ways you can respect Christ is by dressing up appropriately.
01:57Not allowing a whole bunch of mess to be up in that church.
02:06Up in that church.
02:11In Jesus' presence.
02:13And also not to promote any type of outside business up in that church.

02:38Not to allow the business world and the church world just to come together.
02:48Because the church is supposed to be a house of prayer.

02:59You can sell things to people, promote things to people or even take advantage of it.
03:15Because the church is subject to Christ.
03:20The church belongs to Jesus Christ himself, not to, not to you, not to the pastor, who
03:34claims this is my church.
03:37And some of these pastors claim this is my church, New Flash, this is not your church,
03:48this is Jesus Christ, home property, that's his bride, that's his wife, not your, you want
03:59to pay attention to your own wife at home, at your house, this is in verse 25,
04:18Galatians, Ephesians, Ephesians verse 5, verse 25, it says, husbands, love your wives just
04:27as Christ also loved the church, and he gave himself for her, yes, the church, that's the
04:39identity of the church.
04:41The church is a her, a she, a woman.
04:51Jesus Christ has loved the church, and gave of himself, Jesus Christ gave himself for his
05:07wife, who is the church, that Jesus, that he may sanctify and cleanse her with the washing
05:23of water by the word, that he might present her to himself a glorious church, not having a spot,
05:35or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
05:47The husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies.
05:56He who loves his wife, loves himself.
06:03Whenever I have a person, just like a person, who doesn't respect your wife, husbands, and
06:18whoever doesn't respect your wife, ain't respecting you.
06:30Same thing goes with Jesus Christ, and his church, and his church, and the church.
06:45Whosoever disrespects the church, bringing all sorts of things on in it, what's also a mess
06:53foolishness in it, what's also a foolishness in it, not respecting Jesus Christ himself.
07:00They don't love Jesus Christ like their Savior do.
07:08And whenever you say, I love Jesus, but I don't go to church, or I love Jesus, but the church
07:29church people hurt me, that's why I don't attend, or Jesus ain't real.
07:43You ain't real.
07:45And the reason why you say that, it's honestly because you're too afraid of what other people
07:56might think about you.
08:01And you're only proving the other people that hurt you inside that church right.
08:11Yes, it may offend you, but I'm here to step on toes.

08:19I'm not here to cuddle you or comfort you.
08:24I'm here to say what's right.

08:38Nobody should be disrespecting your partner.
08:45You should not be disrespecting your partner.
08:48You should not be disrespecting Christ's own wife.
08:52Right?
08:53Who is the church?
08:58And the minute you start letting other people disrespect your wife, and you're disrespecting
09:10you're disrespecting the church.
09:11You're disrespecting Jesus Christ himself.

09:20Life...
09:21You're disrespecting Christ.
09:22Jesus Christ himself.
09:23And you're also...
09:24Embarrassing yourself.
09:25In front...
09:26Of your own partners.
09:29That cause any embarrassment to Jesus Christ, to his bride, the Church.
09:43that caused any embarrassment to Jesus Christ, to his bride, the church, to your own partner,
10:00and to yourself, yourself the most, and that's the worst part of it all, the worst part of all,
10:16I'm not saying it needs to condemn anybody, I'm not saying it needs to look down on anybody,
10:21imagine anybody, I'm saying this out of concern, out of concern for you, because I understand you've been hurt by people,
10:38but there's certain type of ways you have to come inside of the church,
10:44you can't, you can't just come up in church dressed in any kind of way, I didn't, dress,
10:59we're gonna have to dress, appropriately, for the church, appropriately, because this is Christ's church,
11:09it's Christ's own bride,
11:14this is Jesus that you're representing,
11:26and do not forsake the assembly,
11:33the gathering,
11:36as some have been doing the entire time,
11:41husbands,
11:44husbands,
11:46friends,
11:47family,
11:48invite your loved ones,
11:51to church,
11:52make sure to dress appropriately,
11:55and act,
11:58like you have some sins,
12:02with,
12:04this,
12:04is Pastor,
12:05this,
12:06Dr.

12:11this is authentic authority,
12:14this is why,
12:15this church,
12:16is important,
12:18in its spiritual world.
