Most West Yorkshire councils reported falls in Bonfire Night anti-social behaviour but Leeds saw an increase. Partnership measures are set to continue this year and beyond to reduce disorder.

00:07bonfire night. New figures from West Yorkshire Police from the 1st to the 8th of November
00:12show incidents in Leeds rose to 364 from 345, that's a 5.8% increase. Bradford fell to 280,
00:22Kirk Leeds to 137, Wakefield to 111 and Calderdale to 66. Council said police, volunteers and youth
00:31groups worked together to educate, deter and respond while neighbourhood officers monitored
00:37activity. Officials are wanting to continue such an approach this year.
