00:14is actually the essence beauty carnival master class i'm so excited to be with you guys and i'm
00:21gonna do something that i do a lot on my social and i get a lot of feedback on that people love
00:26is i'm gonna do an eye focus that's pretty much focused on a brighter uh lower lid so i'm gonna
00:34use a really bright pencil on the lower lid to make it pop and maybe just like a bit of color on
00:40the upper lid which is here okay so just to give you guys a heads up i already kind of have on my
00:45skin i have on my foundation i did my brows of course brows have to be done and i actually did
00:52um i didn't do any concealer i don't have any concealer on and just a little lip conditioner
00:57because i like to start a little fresh i'm gonna start with an eye pencil and it's this eyes pencil
01:04it's actually by the lip bar and it's pretty amazing and i'm gonna put it right on my lid
01:11that's what i love about colored eye pencils they're very multi-purpose and you can do a lot with it
01:20and then i'm gonna just take my brush
01:26and buff it out one thing i don't like to see is any line of demarcation so that looks pretty already
01:37and that's the shadow that i'm going to use is actually a completely different color and that's
01:42another that's a great tip like when you're trying to do some bright eyeshadow it doesn't necessarily
01:46have to be the same color as an eyeshadow as long as it's something vibrant it's going to make your
01:51eyeshadow pop so you guys you guys will see the shadow that i use on top of it is not even the
01:55same color which i always like to do makeup has no rules so i always like to do fun things so let's do
02:01the other eye
02:02and you want to stop pretty much where your eye that crease part is where your eye opens that's
02:12considered your crease you see when i lift my eye up you want to stop there you don't want to go above
02:19because the blending brush is going to do the work for you to kind of just get rid of that rigid line
02:26and this can basically be an eye by itself right but no we're gonna do more
02:33because i love doing more so now i'm going to use an eyeshadow
02:38and it is one of my favorite brands pat mcgrath and i'm going to use this color right
02:49right here because this color is almost like a purpley blue color i'm pressing the eyeshadow on
02:59the lid
03:00like i told you i wasn't going to use a shadow that is the same exact color as a pencil i kind of just
03:10use it as a base to really make the eyes pop and i'm actually stopping right here because i want
03:19that peak of blue to be right in that inner corner of my eye using that same brush that i
03:26used to buff out the pencil just to give it like i said clean lines
03:32like i said i'm keeping that little corner open because i want that that blue to peek out a little
03:42bit because i'm going to go back with the liner again and add a little more this is so pretty and
03:49what i like is that this purple like i said it's like a purpley blue and then with the blue base
03:55it makes it look even more blue which is really pretty when you're buffing out any color in your
04:01crease you want to use the brush like almost like a windshield wiper you just want to go back and forth
04:06i love how it looks already now a habit that i have is i always have to kind of groom my lashes as
04:19i go because i want to make sure they look nice and neat as i go so i kind of just take my finger
04:24and kind of just push my lashes up
04:29to ensure they're not looking wacky
04:34all right so now i'm actually before i put that color as the pop in the bottom i'm actually going to
04:44go in with concealer and i like to do two different shades and the concealer under your eye is just as
04:51important as your eye look because if your concealer is not nice and flawless your eye look is not going
04:57to look as great as it should so just add a little concealer there now i'm going to use a brush to buff
05:06it out really easy just kind of pressing the concealer in once again pressing everything is really important
05:18and the quality of brushes is really important as well you want to make sure your brush is super soft
05:23especially when you're using it around your eye because your eye area is super sensitive so you
05:29see how that kind of just brightened me up a little bit yes i'm so excited i'm such a makeup artist i can't
05:36so now i'm using a loose powder
05:38just to set under my eye and i'm actually using a little bit more than usual because i'm about to go in
05:49with eyeshadow and a liner
05:59just setting in the t-zone so it looks a little bit brighter a little bit brighter than it should but
06:05when you guys see the end result trust me you're gonna love it so i'm going in now with that blue liner
06:16right in my waterline actually and under my waterline
06:26and this is one of the my favorite looks to do just because
06:29it just adds a lot of pizzazz to the look see the difference
06:38so pretty
06:41let me make sure i'm finishing like i told you i was going to go back in
06:43and just put a little bit right in the front
06:53let's do the other eye
07:00knowing me i might go back in and do it again
07:03because i'm so obsessed with this liner
07:11so pretty
07:14now i'm literally going to use the brush that i used to apply my eyeshadow earlier take a little paper
07:19towel kind of wipe it off a little bit
07:24just to get the excess shadow off of it and i'm literally just going to buff this out
07:30so pretty
07:33and now i'm gonna wipe off that excess
07:39powder that i put under my eyes see so under the eyes it looks really bright
07:44but it's blended even more
07:52now every eye look is not complete without mascara so i'm going to use some mascara
08:01at the bottom because at the top i have individual lashes so i don't need mascara there i just need it
08:07at the bottom so what i'm going to do is when you're putting on mascara at the bottom you want
08:11to put your head down kind of wiggle the brush and just pull it out
08:21when you put your head down it actually helps you not hit the bottom of your eye to mess up
08:27the shadow or the line that you already have down there
08:29and mascara is needed on the top lashes and the bottom lashes it's really important
08:43because you want your makeup to look proportioned
08:47and you want it to look like i said cohesive you don't want to have a very heavy eye at the top with
08:53lots of lashes and no mascara at the bottom it's almost like brushing your top teeth and not your bottom
08:59i always like to use that analogy because people actually get it when i say that so it's really
09:05important for you to do that i'm actually going to add a little bit at the top just a drop not too much
09:12and now we're going to finish the skin so with finishing the skin i already have on my concealer
09:19i kind of set it with loose powder now i have to do bronzer because like everyone else we were living
09:25in a pandemic for a very long time almost two years and i had no sun exposure as far as getting a tan
09:33so bronzer is really important so now i'm going to put some on my cheeks
09:45and my bronzer actually i like my bronzer to be a little cooler
09:49warmer than warmer and i will warm it up after because when it's too warm because of my complexion
09:56personally it tends to look uh orange so i like it to be a little bit more on the cool side to just
10:06give me more of a shade opposed to like bronze like i don't want to look orange i don't want to look
10:12like i stepped into like a tanning salon and they didn't know what they were doing right
10:21and i like to put it on my cheeks too and a little on my neck because then that gets the least sun
10:26exposure so just a little on my neck to just deepen it up see that looks really pretty you guys see that
10:34really pretty now i'm gonna go in with something a little warmer
10:39and one of my favorite brands so this bronzer is a little warmer so you guys are gonna see it's
10:49gonna warm me up a little more than the first one did
10:58with makeup it's levels to it so sometimes you're not gonna get the results out of one product you're
11:05definitely gonna have to mix it sometimes just put a little bit on the bridge of my nose nothing crazy
11:11because i actually love my nose i don't need it to look slimmer just to give it a little little
11:18bronze and a little shape yes warmed up i feel so much better because i definitely felt super pale
11:28all right now let's do some blush orange blush is my favorite
11:40best way to apply blush is to smile
11:49and we're just finishing up this eye look you know because this eye look is super bold
11:53and you see how easy it was it took me two seconds it doesn't take forever a lot of people think that
11:58eyeshadow has to take all day it really doesn't like you can do it in like literally five seconds
12:04now i'm gonna do some highlights my favorite
12:14sure you guys can see that
12:15best areas to put your highlight is right on the top of your cheek a little on the bridge of your
12:28nose doesn't have to be a lot because a lot really starts to look weird
12:35this is really pretty then they have like a bronzing highlighter here i'm actually gonna put a little on my
12:41cheeks
12:46so pretty and
12:51i would say last but not least you see how fast that went i am gonna do
12:57some gloss nothing crazy because normally when you do a bright eye you definitely want to have a
13:03balance to your makeup so i wouldn't recommend especially if you're a person that doesn't wear
13:09too much makeup to do a bright like vibrant eye and then a bright lip i would definitely do a neutral
13:16lip so i'm gonna do this lip gloss right here and it's like a warm beige color
13:25pretty neutral you don't have to use a lipstick under it it's full coverage
13:29yes this lip gloss is giving what it needs to give
13:46so pretty
13:47and
13:54i would say that's it just to recap i pretty much
14:01use a blue liner the same blue liner as my base for my eyeshadow and i use it under my eye
14:09um buff it out a little bit so it gives you that bright vibrant blue eye and then i use um some
14:16bronzer blush highlighter highlighter is always a pretty addition to your contour slash bronzer
14:26um and then i did some mascara at the bottom which is always easy because like i told you you want to
14:31have balance if you're going to use mascara at the top or if you're using like false lashes in my case
14:37i have on individual lashes you want to put a nice coat of mascara at the bottom to even your eye out
14:42and then i did my concealer of course i said that and i put on this beautiful lip gloss so
14:51i mean this was pretty easy and i'm sure you guys can follow through and do it as well bye guys thank

15:49bringing the beauty of all things beauty and god into it and so guys i'm just so grateful to have you
15:54guys tune in so we're gonna do a popping brow as you can see one brow is not done the other brow is
16:02and so i'm gonna do a brow and the next thing you're gonna i'm gonna teach you how to use kamara
16:06a unique beauty lashes effectively so that you can apply your lashes with ease yes there is an easy way
16:13to apply lashes and then after that we're gonna finish it up with a popping lip i want to do a warm
16:20chestnut um a warm chestnut cork kind of lip um that's a really a beautiful nude lip that i fell in
16:28love with and so let's just jump right in it and i'm excited okay so we're gonna do the brows first
16:35i have on my brow i am using i fell in love with this um cosas brow pencil and so with cosas it's i'm
16:45using brown black and i'm just gonna take a handheld mirror so that i can see myself and i'm gonna take
16:52my spoolie brush it's a it's a it's like a brow comb and i'm gonna just comb my brows downward when you
17:03comb your brow downward you're able to see the line of your brows and how they form so you want to
17:11basically follow the brow bone and just draw a soft line connecting the dots of the hairs
17:21working your way from the arch and then working your way downwards to the tip you can see i have
17:30a line right closely to the brow line and then i'm brush my brows upward
17:38and then i'm gonna do the same thing on the bottom
17:46just draw a line and it's basically like connecting the dots
17:51i kind of like having full brows and having the little choppy parts here
17:58because it kind of gives me the fullness of like a thicker brow and i'm always trying to have a thicker
18:04brow so as you can see with that line that i just drew here i'm just going to take the brow pencil
18:13and just draw
18:17fine hairs hair like strokes we'll say going across the brow and working my way up and over up and over
18:28until i get a nice color okay so the next step i want to do is i want to do a quick brown smoky eye
18:39um this is one of my signature looks that i love to do on my clients it's something that is super easy
18:44so what i love to do is use a um shadow pencil like a it's an eyeshadow pen pencil um makeup forever
18:53makes this really really great one it's called the aqua resist um smoky shadow and so let me show you
19:02how easy it's gonna be it's gonna blow your mind you just take it you want to look down into a mirror
19:11and you just want to press that into your skin
19:14and you already can see the color just
19:22picking up and forming on the eyelid and giving me a smoky effect and so i just take my finger
19:30and i just brush out the harsh edges and bring it up a little bit into the crease
19:37and push it and pull it out into the corners of the eye
19:46and then i'm good to go quick and easy you guys can do a smoky eye you can do this with any color
19:52i'm gonna do the next eye now play it up with a blue you could play it up with a black you could
19:59play it up this is a smoky eye that you can create that's not gonna drop and fall on your cheeks and
20:03you're like oh my god i got my makeup all over again it's a mess it's a mess it's a mess this is
20:08basically helping you not create a mess and create something that is effective and beautiful at the
20:15same time and easy brush that through on my next lid you want to make sure you're going all the way up to
20:26the crease i know i got a lot of lid i have a lot of eye
20:35and it's okay and if you don't have a lot of eye you want to make sure that you are looking
20:39a lot of lid you want to make sure that you're looking down just so that you can see where your lid
20:46starts and stops then i'm going to take a little bit of this and i'm going to put it right in my waterline
20:56right in between the lash lines i'm going to do the other side
21:05and i'm literally just taking my finger
21:09so just softening out that line
21:14next we're getting ready for the lashes how i like to get ready for applying lashes is i like to use a
21:21black eyeliner right in my lash line on the top lid since i already put a little bit of the brown on
21:29the lower lid i'm not going to put any black there because i really want to keep it as soft as possible
21:34on the lower lid i'm going to hold my mirror down here so i hope you guys can see and i'm going to just
21:43take my lid and pull it up
21:49and i'm going to just slowly apply
21:54my black liner
21:58right in my lash line right in between the lashes
22:04so this is effective of making of really showing the shape of your eyes
22:11and allowing your eyes to look bigger because it defines the shape
22:20and yes because i do have big eyes i still want my eyes to look
22:24big eyes are popping big ass is popping these can be made fun of for these eyes
22:30so now i do as much as i can to show them off going to apply
22:34the lash so that i'm not getting any lashes trapped into
22:42in between the lash and the glue it could get messy it could get messy
22:51so i'm just applying one coat of mascara and they know what i could get the bottom lashes now too
22:55because we i love bottom lashes like i'm like riddle me my my bottom lashes please
23:05i i have like things that i say they sound weird but
23:12bottom lashes
23:13just makes the world go round it just makes you like the fullness of the makeup just completes
23:24when you apply mascara on the bottom lashes so now we're going to prepare the lash
23:32so i am using my kamara a unique beauty roof lash
23:38all the lashes are inspired by the iconic women in the bible um so you guys if you do know my about
23:45my brand my brand is about all things beauty and god and so i am so happy that i have the grade to
23:52have a lash line that's foaming um cruelty free and it's amazing um the the band is a clear band so that
24:02if you did lose your lashes due to alopecia or due to cancer you're okay because i got you and so
24:09the clear band will allow you to feel like the lashes are going to come out of your eyes which is
24:15amazing and so i'm going to apply the roof lash today because ruth ruth was my girl i am using
24:24uh scissors and i'm just gonna cut
24:26the little corners where you can see where the line ends for the lash that's when that thing like
24:36when you feel like that little pricking and you feel like something is irritating you
24:41you just want to cut the edges of the lash this lash is perfect for all eye shapes so you just want
24:49to take it and see see i already have like super large eyes so it's going to fit me
24:55pretty much perfectly draw a line like you're drawing a cat eye or you can do a fine line
25:10right to the edge of my eye this glue dries down very nice and match so it's not sticky
25:24even though it's a glue and a liner in one and then i'm going to take my roof lash that's ready for me
25:32and i'm just gonna bend it and play with it a little bit i just want to bend it because this
25:37is a brand new lash with these lashes you do get up to 25 to 30 wears with it um with proper care
25:45so i pulled out a new one just for you guys and so i'm gonna bend it and snap bend and snap bend and
25:54snap so i'm gonna look down into my mirror turn my head over to my inner corner pick up the lash and just
26:04press it right into the inner corner and then take the applicator and just press everything in so
26:12that it is on and ready to go to really get that lip line filled in completely and then starting from
26:21my cupid's bow
26:26i'm gonna draw like an x
26:31and then i'm going to fill
26:36now i started my career at mac and um one of my favorite lip colors from mac was velvet teddy
26:45and so i went and picked up a couple of a couple for myself and for my kit the other day and i was
26:50like we're gonna show you guys how amazing velvet teddy is but this cork liner is so good
26:58with velvet teddy on top of it
27:02is like a nice soft pinky brown velvet teddy looks great on all complexions from
27:10latinas from chocolate girls all complexions should feel comfortable wearing this how beautiful that
27:21is it's just so good it's so good it's so good and i know after a year of wearing masks you're not
27:28really thinking about your lips like that but i mean going out and you want to like take the mask off
27:34and you need to take the mask off because you're enjoying a good night out i think that this will really
27:40really help you feel like i'm a fan of lip oils right now because lip oils you could either wear
27:50the lip oil without makeup or you could just wear it on top of what you're you know what you want
27:56to do and so the lip oil is not sticky
28:02but it feels so good on the lips i like to put a little lip oil on
28:05on in the morning when i wake up after i brush my teeth put a little lip oil on my lips feel
28:12moisturized but this is gonna complete my look and i eat so how do you guys feel about this look guys
