00:005.
00:01Gocero.
00:02Gocero.
00:03Gocero.
00:04Gocero.
00:35What has changed?
00:46I mean, I'm a bit older.
00:48I've gone through some tough times.
00:51I went to college.
00:52I grew up a little bit.
00:54And I think now I feel a lot lighter.
00:58And I wrote about this as well.
01:00What I mean by that is I don't have anything left to prove.
01:03I've won more World Cups than any free skier ever, male or female.
01:08I am currently tied for most Olympic medals.
01:11I'm the youngest free ski Olympic gold medalist.
01:14I am the only free skier to win three medals at a single Olympics.
01:17Like, I don't feel as though I have to prove anything anymore.
01:22I'm here because I want to be.
01:23And there's something so freeing about that.
01:25Before, I think I was doing what I knew how to do.
01:27Now I'm doing what I want to do.
01:29Hopefully new trips.
01:31I mean, I don't know.
01:33I was joking about procrastinating the Olympics.
01:35Like, I've been procrastinating finals.
01:37The idea being, like, studying the night before finals.
01:40I was training the day before the Olympics.
01:42I got into the village at 10 p.m. the day before my first training.
01:46So, we'll see.
01:47I mean, I'm here to do my very best.
01:49I think this is the stage to push myself if I can do so safely and if I have the capacity to do so.
01:54And I really hope that I can represent myself in the sport and women's free skiing honorably.
01:58That's kind of the only goal that I really have.
02:00I'm here to go.
02:30Because, although I'm now the second tournament, it's my second tournament, but it's my second tournament.
02:37And I hope after the third tournament, it's my second tournament.
02:42So, my experience is actually different.
02:44And I'm also a different person.
02:45But I feel like I'm the same person in my heart.
02:48And I'm not too proud of my heart.
02:50This is a wonderful course.
02:51Everybody is skiing super strongly.
02:53I feel honored to be a part of the field and I'm being pushed and hopefully pushing other people every single day.
03:00And there's nothing more freeing than the feeling of progress.
03:03I do full-time school, which I love so much.
03:06But between that and a number of injuries, I guess there was a little bit of self-doubt that made its way into my skiing consciousness.
03:13But this past season, especially leading up to the Olympics, it has been so wonderful to rediscover my love for this sport.
03:18Not just for competing, which I've always loved, or using my platform, which I'm so privileged and so grateful to have, to spread the sport to more young girls.
03:28You know, I've always felt passionate about those two things.
03:30But what I mean more is appreciating the inherent craftsmanship of the sport.
03:36And there's so much creativity and self-expression to be had.
03:39I think I've learned so much about myself.
03:41And the reason I love skiing is that it's an embodiment of all the values that I judge myself by.
03:48And the reason I love skiing is that it's an embodiment of all the values that I judge myself by.
