00:00On to the news of the official World Golf rankings, we've seen some movement from the OWGR,
00:07but with points limited to the top 10 in the LIV games.
00:15So that means LIV remains more restricted than other tours.
00:19Five seasons in, what do you think is driving this continued restriction?
00:25Well, I remember reading a book when I was in high school called A Tale of Two Cities.
00:30And the book opens with a great line that says, it was the best of times, it was the worst of times.
00:34And I think any time you were trying to insert yourself into change, and it's particularly in a very traditional sport,
00:43there's sometimes resistance.
00:45And that has to be okay.
00:46Like, that's what we signed up for, that's what we understand.
00:48And in terms of world ranking points, what a great testament.
00:53You know, we have some of the people who have the most to lose, the two tours that have the most to lose in the world,
00:59are actually voting members on that group.
01:01Can you imagine?
01:02The commissioner of the PGA, the head of the DP World Tour.
01:05And so, from our perspective, you know, what a great vote of confidence for them to say, okay, we'll give you points.
01:11Now, on the other hand, it's a bit unprecedented.
01:13You know, in every other event that they have across the, you know, hundreds of tours that they sanction,
01:21if there are no cuts, you know, only 15% of the field gets no points.
01:25In our case, it's 82% of the field.
01:27So, that didn't feel great, you know, and I'm hoping that this is the first step of many steps up the flight of stairs
01:34where we'll actually be ranked and recognized where we actually should be,
01:37which I think is the greatest, deepest, most talented, strongest strength of the field, international golf in the world.
