Giant horse-shaped kites are set to “gallop” across Johor’s skies at the Pasir Gudang World Kite Festival, adding a festive flourish ahead of Chinese New Year.

The showpiece kite was flown by veteran participant Tan Xin Bo from China and is part of a record-breaking edition of the festival, which has drawn 155 participants from 56 countries across six continents.
