00:00A large crowd of Lebanese gathered on Wednesday in front of the headquarters of the United Nations Economic and Social Commissions from Western Asia in Beirut to express their support for the Lebanese resistance and the role it plays in defending sovereignty, independence and integrity. 00:20The cessation of continued Israeli aggression, the withdrawal of occupation troops from Lebanese territory, the release of prisoners, and the reconstruction of southern Lebanon are the main demands of the participants in the demonstration, representing the different political currents, forces, trade unions, and civil society organizations in Lebanon.
00:45The negotiations and dialogue did not yield results as the Zionist occupation entity continues to violate our airspace, our sea, and our land, and continues to kill our children and brothers.
00:57From all factions and components that make the Lebanese people, that is why we are gathered here today to demand an end to these attacks that cause harm to all Lebanese without the station.
01:08Today, we have come to defend our rights and to demand that the Zionist enemy withdraw from Lebanon, return our prison, and instructing the reconstruction of our country.
01:21We therefore affirm that we defend our freedom, sovereignty, and independence, and that we want to live with dignity and without humiliation.
01:27The protesters also expressed their condemnation and rejection of the U.S. Zionist pressure exerted on the Lebanese government to disarm the resistance at a time when Israel continues to violate Security Council Resolution, 1,701, and a November 2024 ceasefire.
01:50The resistance was created to free the country from Israel, and until the goal of liberating Lebanon and totally eradicating this tumour materialized in Israel is achieved, the resistance will not cease to exist.
02:05And it will continue.
02:06We condemn what happened in Venezuela and the threats against Cuba, Colombia, and Greenland, as well as the threats against Lebanon, Asia, and Palestine, are being carried out in the service of the interests of the tyrannical United States, which seeks, through its interventionist policies and its attacks and hostilities, to eliminate the will for freedom and the will for resistance and independence of the free people of the world.
02:31Israel, in addition to causing the deaths of more than 350 people since the truce came into effect in November 2024, occupies five strategic points along the Lebanese border, and refuses to withdraw from the territory, despite being a key component of the agreement.
02:54Israel, even so, even so, in contradiction to the position of the participants in the demonstration, there are Lebanese voices that continue to blame the resistance for the country's instabilities.
03:08Unity between the people, the army, the government, and the resistance, is the key to preserving Lebanon's sovereignty.
