00:03Malaysia today stands on firmer ground
00:21Our GDP is on track to grow by around 4.9% in 2025
00:29while inflation has been contained at 1.6%
00:35Investment confidence is returning
00:38These are encouraging signs reflecting disciplined fiscal management
00:45and a renewed sense of seriousness in governance
00:49This progress did not come about by chance
00:54It reflects a deliberate effort to restore trust in public finances
01:00credibility in institutions
01:03and integrity in the exercise of power
01:06Confidence does not respond to slogans or short-term measures
01:11It responds to consistency
01:14to clarity of intent
01:17and to the assurance that reform is sustained rather than episodic
01:23So, let us be clear
01:26Numbers alone do not define success
01:30Markets may respond to data
01:33but the rakyat judged by experience
01:37Growth must be felt in homes
01:40In workplaces
01:42and in the course of living faced by ordinary families
01:46Otherwise, it remains hollow
01:50One visible signal of renewed confidence
01:54is the strengthening of the ringgit
01:56of the ringgit
01:58External factors do play a role
02:02But currencies ultimately reflect the trust in institutions
02:07in policy directions
02:08and trust that the country is governed by discipline
02:13and purpose
02:15That trust is being rebuilt
02:19because of this Madhadi government
02:21has taken a clear, principled
02:24and uncompromising stand on governance
02:29There will be no tolerance for corruption
02:35and no exceptions for the well-connected
02:41Without accountability, there can be no credibility
02:46Without credibility, there can be no sustainable growth
02:50This is not a campaign for headlines
02:55nor a passing phase
02:57It is a recognition that lasting confidence
03:01depends on the certainty
03:04that the law applies equally to all
03:08When enforcement is consistent
03:11trusts can be restored
03:13and institutions regain the authority
03:17And yet, enforcement alone is not enough
03:21That is precisely why institutional reform
03:28continues without pause and without apology
03:33We are strengthening institutions
03:35so that integrity does not depend on personalities
03:39but on systems
03:41Rules must outlast individuals
03:44Reform must endure beyond political cycles
03:48These efforts are already bearing fruit
03:52And thank you to the team
03:54Investors are responding to consistency and predictability
04:00They see firmer governance
04:04clearer direction
04:05And a country serious about long-term stability
04:09This is reflected in the investment decisions
04:13and in a reassessment of Malaysia's economic risk
04:19economic risk
