00:13We're wrapping up February which is known as Black History Month here in the United
00:16States so we just wanted to you know reimagine some of our favorite historical moments and
00:22tell you what really happened.
00:25Rosa Parks's real name is actually Ronisha Parkett and at the time MLK was really pressed
00:36and frustrated because he already had Claudette Colvin and he had to push her to the side because
00:40of the whole team mom thing so he was just like change your name to Rosa Parks and that's
00:45why we know her as Rosa Parks.
00:47Harriet Tubman actually had an older sister named Henrietta Tubman who okay was
00:55the inventor of the technologies that is now the railroad and Harriet being the jealous
01:03younger sister that she was oh so you think you can just come and make a railroad I'm gonna
01:09make the underground railroad and actually she did not intend on freeing slaves it was just a nice bonus.
01:18When Olympic medalist Tommy Smith and John Carlos were raising their fist
01:23they were actually just doing it because they had just eaten they were giving thanks you know to
01:27a really good meal and everybody else made it political it wasn't even that serious.
01:33Little known fact George Washington Carver actually invented the Reese's peanut butter cup
01:41but because he was Black obviously they wouldn't give him his own candy so they just gave it to a white dude named Reese.
01:48A lot of people don't really know this but Beyonce is actually called Queen Bee because she's actually
01:55from the monarchy of a small African nation off the Ivy Coast.
02:00Michael Jackson is more commonly known as the world's greatest entertainer but did you know that
02:06he was also the first man on the moon? Think about it. Where did he learn the moon walk? Stay woke.
02:16BET was actually T-E-B. Tell everybody bye and it was invented because you know people were just hanging
02:24out after church on Sundays and we wanted to get people to go home and watch television so that's why it was invented.
