00:00One thing that I'm so passionate about is community, and I remember, you know, my relationship with myself and with my hair changed when Instagram came out, and I saw all these women doing something called the big chop, and they were putting their foot down and saying we're no longer going to conform to what other people say beauty is.
00:25We're going to start living out our own truth, celebrating, you know, our hair, and that's exactly what I did.
00:35I was like, wow, this is so amazing seeing all of these wonderful women that look like me from just different curl textures to different, you know, communities, and they were embracing themselves, and it was so beautiful to see and watch.
00:53And I'm a true believer in if you see it, you be it, and that was a lot for me, and that's basically, I will say, when I really started to have and develop a beautiful relationship with myself and living out my authenticity.
