00:15I don't think I can say, it's like life.
00:17It's never the same, and we respond to the moment,
00:21and we live that moment, and it's different guests,
00:24it's different personalities, it's different moments,
00:26it's fun times, it's exciting times.
00:28It's like a roller coaster.
00:29It's a bit of everything, but it's full of surprises.
00:33Some days I don't even know what to expect,
00:34but I look forward to each and every day.
00:40What is the Jennifer Hudson show?
00:42First of all, it's full of Jennifer and Jennifer Rising.
00:45I think it's full of laughter, fun, joy, unity, peace, and fun times.
00:53You know, I want it to be everybody's happy place.
00:55We want to have entertainment shine a light on incredible people,
00:58and highlight everybody's superpower,
01:01and give you a chance to have the spotlight,
01:03at least share the spotlight with everyone.
01:05I love giving, so I love the field pieces.
01:08I love the audience because they're there with all the beautiful energy,
01:11and then I love all my peers coming through,
01:13the different celebrities.
01:15You can't help but to feel the love in that.
01:16It's just, it's a feeling that I can't even begin to describe.
01:21I feel like happy place sums it up.
01:23I hope you feel the joy and the love
01:25once you come through the doors of the Jennifer Hudson show.
01:31One of my favorite parts is wardrobe,
01:34and I have the absolute best team.
01:35I got hair and makeup, which I call double A batteries.
01:39Fully charged.
01:40Adam and Albert, they glam me up and give me some good hair and makeup.
01:45And then there is V and Layla, and we play in clothes together,
01:50which I know us ladies like to do.
01:51Speaking of which, can I show you and share it with you?

01:58Ah, come into my closet, which is one of my,
02:02well, this is the, this is just the rack.
02:04I'm not going to show you the closet just yet,
02:05but this is some of the looks throughout the start of the week.
02:09This is to name a few.
02:10We come in here and we play in the closet,
02:12and we Jennifer-ize the looks.
02:14And right now it's a bunch of color, right?
02:17That means I'm having a color party.
02:20And when you see me in color, that means I'm super happy.
02:24And sometimes I wear black and then put a pop of color in there
02:27or put the color on the floor.
02:30But we have a lot of fun in here.
02:32So here's a few of the fabulous looks or fun.
02:36And I find clothing to be an expression.
02:39So sometimes listen to the clothing.
02:41And when I meet people and they have on clothing and different outfits,
02:44I'll be like, what are you saying to me?
02:46So I hope you hear me when I'm speaking to you through my clothing.
02:49So I had Simon Cowell for my premiere show.
02:53And if you watch me on American Idol, I had some outfits.
02:56So I decided to create the 2022 version of one of those outfits.
03:01So this was my outfit for the premiere show for Simon,
03:06which has the same pink colors that if you remember, you'll see it.
03:12So that's this look that I prepared for Mr. Simon, me, V, and Layla.
03:17And then here, Mr. Magic Johnson came through.
03:21So I wanted to wear a good pop of color form because I needed to feel magical myself.
03:27And so this look helped me do that.
03:29And I hope you enjoy it.
03:31But you was going to see Jennifer, that's for sure.
03:35I've been on every facet and form of a stage and performing.
03:38But I feel like what I love most about the talk show life is being able to sit on the couch
03:44and actually talk to somebody.
03:47I love hearing different stories.
03:50I love meeting people.
03:52And most of all, my favorite thing is bringing everyone together in positivity on one accord.
03:58That's my absolute favorite.
