00:01Long ago black people weren't able to do as much stuff as white people.
00:06They had different stores and different stuff just for white people.
00:13He tried to help other people get along and black people and white people can go wherever they want.
00:23He wrote a speech and everybody just started listening to him.
00:31He really changed the world for our generation.
00:35He accomplished making everybody, every race equal.
00:43Them being friends and going to the same places, going to the same restaurants, the same shopping areas and stuff like that.
00:50He made a speech in Washington D.C. called I Have a Dream that I should be proud of who I am and believe in myself.
00:59He tried to break slavery and go on the bus and sit wherever they want.
01:12Some people can have glasses, some don't. Everybody's really different, really.
01:17So we don't really look the same, but we're still people.
