00:26have your own identity and confidence that really portrays on your outer
00:30beauty. For me beauty is very natural, it's very authentic, it's very genuine, and
00:37it's just very engaging. I would say something that I definitely thought was
00:44a flaw growing up was my hair actually. I always wanted to be straight and flowy
00:49and just like blow in the wind, but it wasn't until my freshman year of
00:54high school that I decided to get rid of the relaxer and cut it out and then
00:58just really just embrace my big, frizzy, crazy hair. You know, it has a mind of its
01:03own and it's hard to manage, but I really love it now. A beauty tip I would share
01:10with the next generation and my nieces and everything would be try and eat
01:15healthy. That's a really big thing with a lot of water that makes a huge
01:19difference with your hair and your face, a lot of green drinks and spinach and
01:25healthy foods. If they could really start that young and start that as a habit, I
01:28think that's one of the top things that affects your beauty. For us, because we
01:32are a biracial family, my grandchildren also have curly hair and we are teaching
01:37them embrace that curly hair, take good care of your hair, you know, never try to be
01:42someone else, just this is who you are. I just, I'm just a believer of encouraging
01:47women, young women especially, to let them know that beauty is from the inside out
01:53and not to ever diminish who they are and it's okay to feel good about
01:58themselves and even enhance their beauty. If I had to describe my shade of
02:04beautiful, it would be authentic, genuine and loving. If I had to describe my shade of
02:10beautiful, I would say fearless, outgoing and confident in who I am.
