00:03Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh.
00:07Singing has been in my family for so long.
00:10And so there's so many wonderful singers in my family.
00:12Writers, pianists, my dad's a bass player. He's here tonight as well.
00:15So I've been around all of this musical legacy.
00:17My grandfather's 92 years old, still singing, literally.
00:21So to be a part of something so wonderful,
00:24you know, thinking that it's normal growing up.
00:26Oh, everybody's saying this is just what we do.
00:28And now, you know, being acknowledged and being, you know,
00:31representing a style of music that I didn't grow up with,
00:33but I've come to love and it's a part of my musical identity now.
00:35It's really, it's only God.
00:38That's all I can say. It's only God.
00:39Because I couldn't have planned this out in my wildest dreams.
00:42So it's just divine.
