00:00I knew Monet was wrong about you.
00:02We gotta do something about this.
00:04You wanna be on the run for the rest of your life?
00:09Can you confirm his identity?
00:10Jabari Reynolds.
00:11What happened to him?
00:13I need a list of his students and advisees.
00:16Hi, my name is Revae Ruff, and I'm from Essence.
00:20How are you doing?
00:21Good.
00:22How are you, Revae?
00:23The show last year was a pretty big success.
00:27So you guys have kind of become like household names,
00:30very recognized in the street these days.
00:32How is that for you?
00:34You know, it's funny.
00:35I can shave and no one knows me.
00:37So I still...
00:38Really?
00:39It's really cool.
00:41So far, so good.
00:42As long as I keep the beard off, it's all good.
00:45It's a blessing.
00:46But I mean, it's really nice to be able to have, obviously,
00:49to be normal, you know, just to be normal.
00:52Yeah, I think it's amazing how people respond to the show.
00:56Courtney has created such a staple within the culture.
01:00She's done an amazing job.
01:01Yeah.
01:02Yeah.
01:03Now, Woody, coming from a comedy background
01:06and then kind of going into acting through the Bobby Brown story,
01:10and now you have a kind of more serious, gritty,
01:13like very gutter role that people are responding to.
01:16How has that transition been for you to going from, I guess,
01:19kind of doing more comedy into like really serious acting
01:21and putting on a whole new face?
01:23Mmm.
01:24Man, it's been an amazing journey.
01:27Amazing journey.
01:28And it's allowing me to just explore different personalities within.
01:33I mean, we all got different, you know what I mean?
01:35But it allows me to really go far left from who I am.
01:39And I think it's stretching me as an actor, and I love it.
01:42And I enjoy it.
01:43It's a great process to go through.
01:45Now, Daniel, for you, how does it feel to kind of be,
01:47well, it depends on who you're asking,
01:49to kind of be seen as a villain on a show where there's so much crime
01:53and underhanded activity going on,
01:55but you're kind of still seen as one of the opposing factors.
01:59How does that feel?
02:00It's awesome.
02:01I don't often get to play this kind of character.
02:05As a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever played this kind of character.
02:08Maybe once, but Mecca's totally unique.
02:12And, yeah, no, it was an honor to be included in the Power Universe
02:16and on Ghost in particular.
02:18Now, Bertone, where do you guys play family members,
02:21dysfunctional though it may be?
02:23How do you feel that, did you guys form your own sort of family-type bond
02:29while filming the show?
02:31Absolutely.
02:32100%.
02:33Yeah.
02:34100%.
02:35Yeah.
02:36Yeah.
02:37I remember the first day I met Woody.
02:39We were on the van on the way to set,
02:40and we had a conversation exactly about our relationship.
02:45And in that moment, it was like an instant, oh, my God.
02:48We understood what we were diving into in that moment.
02:52So from day one, it's been, you know, the theme of family has always been there.
02:57And, you know, what is a good guy?
02:59And he comes from a good place and he's a humble individual.
03:02So it's, for me, it was, I let myself go.
03:05You know, there were no walls and I just, I just went for it, you know?
03:08And I just, you know, you expose yourself to someone else, you know?
03:12Your feelings are out there in the open.
03:13You have no reason to hold back.
03:15And I feel, I feel reciprocated, you know?
03:18Same, same.
03:19And it's like, I feel like our whole cast is selfless.
03:23Everybody is, you know what I mean?
03:25There to help each other.
03:26It doesn't feel like, oh, I have to.
03:28It just feels like everybody wants the best for everyone.
03:31So it just makes the atmosphere that much easier to work in.
03:35100%.
03:37I personally, I just want to say, Woody and I, however, didn't get along at all.
03:42I don't like the guy.
03:44I just don't like him.
03:45But, you know, I like his character on the show.
03:48Well, perfect.
03:49That comes across on screen.
03:50I love him.
03:52I love that.
03:55Thank you all so much for your time today.
03:56I really appreciate it.
03:58Thank you, everybody.
03:59I appreciate it.
04:00Nice meeting you.
