00:10Question. What is meant by Haram, Makru Tahram, and Makru Tanzahaj?
00:15Answer. Haram. An act whose prohibition is established by definitive proof.
00:21Whoever commits it is sinful and deserves punishment.
00:25And whoever denies its prohibition becomes a disbeliever.
00:28Makru Tahram. An act whose prohibition is established by speculative proof.
00:34Its denier does not become a disbeliever.
00:38But the one who commits it is sinful.
00:40Makru Tanzai Steu. An act that is better to avoid and earns reward if avoided.
00:47Committing it carries no punishment, but it is considered a lesser form of wrongdoing.
00:52Muba. Question. What is meant by Muba?
00:55Answer. Muba refers to an act for which there is no reward in doing it, and no sin or punishment in leaving it.
01:02Time of Fajr Prayer.
01:04Question. Explain the time of Fajr Prayer.
01:07Answer. Approximately one and a half hours before sunrise, a whiteness appears on the eastern horizon.
01:13It rises vertically. This is called Sub-Karib.
01:16Then a second whiteness appears, which spreads along the horizon, covering the eastern edge.
01:22This is called Sub-Saddik, or True Dawn.
01:27The time of Fajr begins with Sub-Saddik and lasts until sunrise.
01:31As soon as even a small edge of the sun appears, Fajr ends.
01:35Question. What is the recommended time for Fajr?
01:38Answer. When there is sufficient light to perform the prayer properly, according to Sunnah.
01:43Time of Fajr Prayer.
01:45Question. Explain the time of Fajr.
01:47Answer. It begins after the sun declines from its zenith.
01:52It continues until the shadow of everything, excluding the original noon shadow, becomes twice the length of the object.
01:58Question. Recommended time for Fajr.
02:01Answer. In summer, delay until heat decreases.
02:04In winter, pray at the beginning.
02:06Maghrib begins the moment the sun sets.
02:08It continues until the Shafak, or twilight, completely disappears from the sky.
02:14First, the redness fades, leaving a white glow.
02:17When this white twilight vanishes and the sky is uniform, Maghrib ends.
02:22Then, Isha time begins.
02:23It lasts until True Dawn appears.
02:26Ideally, try to pray Isha during the first third of the night.
02:29Now for Witter.
02:30It is prayed only after you have finished your Isha prayer.
02:33If you can wake up, pray Wichur late at night.
02:36If not, it is better to pray it before you go to sleep.
