The Day of Resurrection (Yawm-ul-Qiyamah) is one of the most important beliefs in Islam. It is the day when this world will come to an end by the command of Allah, and all human beings and living creatures will be brought back to life to be judged for their deeds. Belief in the Day of Resurrection reminds Muslims that this life is temporary and that the real and eternal life is the Hereafter.

Before the Day of Resurrection, many signs will appear, showing that the end of the world is approaching. When Allah wills, the Angel Israfil will blow the trumpet. With this command, every living creature in the heavens and the earth will die, except whom Allah wills. Kings and poor people, humans and animals, the strong and the weak—no one will remain alive. This shows the absolute power of Allah and the reality that no soul can escape death.

After a period known only to Allah, the trumpet will be blown again. On this second blowing, all human beings will be resurrected and brought back to life. Every person who ever lived—from the first human, Prophet Adam (AS), to the last—will stand before Allah. Even animals and other living creatures will be resurrected so that complete justice can be established.

On that great day, people will be gathered in front of Allah for accountability (Hisab). Every action, whether good or bad, big or small, will be shown. No injustice will be done to anyone. Those who believed in Allah, followed His guidance, and did good deeds will be rewarded, while those who rejected the truth and did wrong will face the consequences of their actions.

Learning about the Day of Resurrection helps us understand the purpose of life. It teaches responsibility, justice, patience, and hope. Islam teaches that this world is a test, and the Day of Resurrection is the day when the results of that test will be revealed.

This video/article aims to help viewers learn about Islam, understand the meaning of the Day of Resurrection, how all living beings will die by Allah’s command, and how everyone will return to Allah for judgment.
