00:00While I was at school I worked part-time. I was a full-time student. I had a merit
00:09scholarship and I ran my own business. My name is Cameron Miller and this is my She
00:13Got Now HBCU experience. Being in college there's a lot of internship opportunities
00:18but they're not a lot that are tailored specifically towards HBCU students so
00:23finding one like the She Got Now program that was not only for HBCU students but
00:28also for black women specifically was something that really stood out and on
00:32top of that it was really special that Pepsi is a company that takes time to
00:36cultivate their employees and really invest in our potential. Throughout the
00:40summer we were able to build a type of sisterhood where we can come to each
00:44other and give each other advice and even now a whole year later we still use
00:48that group chat and we still talk and communicate now that some of us are
00:51full-time we compare our experiences we still give each other advice and it's
00:55really just a great sisterhood. My senior year when I was looking for jobs the
01:00Career Center started posting lots of different opportunities and the one that
01:03really stood out to me was the She Got Now program and it stood out because they
01:07were specifically looking for black women who were entrepreneurs and who were
01:11business-minded and that really resonated with me and who I am as a person but now a
01:16year later I'm 22 and I'm a manager at one of the biggest companies in the
01:20country and I'm very thankful to Pepsi and Essence for the opportunity.
