00:31I think it's the first of its kind for young Black kids to see themselves
00:35inside of a huge theme park like this. Can you speak to that?
00:39Yeah, it was so important for us to represent Wakanda.
00:42It's such a big part of this story universe.
00:45And to not only have Black Panther, but to have his royal guard,
00:49having the Dora Milaje, having it led by Okoye.
00:52When they come into the land, it commands the land.

01:13So I have to say, Essence is Black Girl Magic headquarters.
01:16So when I look at the Dora Milaje
01:18and how they just came out and represented that way,
01:21it makes me so proud because I know that young Black girls
01:24will come here and see themselves here in this world.
01:27What did you think about when creating it to make sure that they were incorporated
01:31and that they showed up in a powerful way?
01:33Oh, absolutely.
01:34It is such a rich, diverse world.
01:36When we watch these films, when we read these comics,
01:39there's so much representation and we all want to identify with a hero
01:44and making sure that we have that in Avengers Campus was core to our philosophy.
01:49So as you go through, there are heroes of every shape and size
01:53to make sure that we deliver on that promise.
01:56And we're so excited to welcome all new recruits to Avengers Campus.
02:00Yeah.
02:00So with that being said, when new recruits come here to Avengers World,
02:04how can they interact with the Dora Milaje and Black Panther?
02:07Oh, the Dora Milaje are going to walk out into the middle of Avengers Campus
02:12and they're going to train all of us to become something more,
02:15to become warrior allies of Wakanda.
02:18And it's exciting for all ages to be able to, you know,
02:23get into these poses, train with them and just be inspired.
02:27And that's our goal of the entire campus is to step up, become something more.
02:32And the empowerment that we want all of our guests to feel
02:35is at the core of a promise for Avengers Campus.
02:39Absolutely.
02:40So here you can unlock your inner warrior
02:43and also unlock your inner hero.
02:45And you can unlock a little bit of Black girl magic for yourself too
02:49here at Avengers Campus at Disneyland.
