00:23so what was it like for you being in this action film this time?
00:27You know, this is an action film, of course,
00:31but I think what really drew me to this was the heart of it
00:34and how my character is really the heart,
00:38the heart space of the film,
00:42and I just wanted to do something honest
00:45and not just do a role that maintained a certain amount of,
00:51you know, gain in any way,
00:54but that this was just honest for me and truthful
00:56and it had heart,
00:59and so that felt good,
01:01and I wanted to contribute right there.
01:04Yeah, and are you an action thriller fan?
01:07Like, I am, but then I found myself jumping.

01:13I am a, I love dramas,
01:16and I love, like, you know,
01:18I keep telling everyone, like,
01:19I love Waiting for a Tale and Love Jones,
01:23and those are my type of film,
01:26but, you know,
01:28I think the blessing of this is that I'm in this film,
01:30and now I have a different appreciation
01:32for action and suspense.

01:37I would love to do more.

01:42And what was it like, you know,
01:43getting back to work?
01:44I know a lot of people, you know,
01:46at the beginning of the pandemic were like,
01:47I'm glad to have this break,
01:48but then they got kind of antsy,
01:50like, I'm ready to work again.
01:51Were you definitely at that place?
01:53You know,
01:54we shot this before the pandemic.
01:57Okay.
01:58Yeah, so,
01:59it wasn't too far from,
02:03it was in 2019,
02:04which is by far the toughest year of my life so far,
02:09and so getting back to work
02:11was more than just being anxious
02:14because I wasn't working.
02:15It was really a stand on,
02:18will I work again?
02:19Do I want to work?
02:20Yeah.
02:21And I am.
02:22Is this where I still belong?
02:23Do I still hold faith here?
02:25Should I?
02:26And so with all those questions in my head,
02:29and it was like a leap of faith
02:32and just moving with the fear of,
02:36I don't know if I should,
02:38if I can,
02:39will I accept it in that way again?
02:43Because it's been a while.
02:45And I will say that,

02:49God is so gracious
02:51because it was the best way
02:53I could go back to work.

03:17And it was just such a genuine
03:19respect and mutual love for each other.
03:24And we were both in Germany.
03:26And so it was like that sister,

03:34we're not in scenes together.

03:36and I hold space for you.
03:38And it was the same way with her.
