00:19OK. It was so horrible that my director, he hasn't even you can ask James. Right.
00:25He hadn't even seen my audition tape.
00:27What? Like, yeah, it was that bad.
00:32Casting was like, oh, hell no, you know, which is totally respective.
00:37I can't even be mad at it because I know what I brought into the room that day.
00:40And it was everything that wasn't my work. You know what I'm saying?
00:43I had too much on my mind. And so it was like, you can't even be mad at that.
00:49That's like one of those ones was like, all right, bro, that was your fault.
00:52Right. Right. I'll take that.
00:56Yeah, that was it. I was just like, damn, I'll take the L.
01:02And so when Jonathan called me, asked me, told me what he was doing, I was like, cool.
01:10And so he put me on with James. Right.
01:12And first thing, James was like, oh, wow, you're swag.
01:17You're Jim Beckworth. Like, you just have balls.
01:20I'm like, word. I don't really know what that means.
01:23But, yeah. You know, he was like he gave me a scene to do.
01:29Right. And then he said he was going to call me back the next day.
01:31He was going to run it and see what's popping. Right.
01:33So I was like, cool. And then I'm reading. I'm like, dog, I feel like I done done this before.
01:38I have. You know, it was like, oh, snap. Big full circle.
01:43It's like God was like, hey, man, I told you to chill out the first time you listen to me.
01:47You get up. All right. I'm going to give you this second chance.
01:51All right. Now, don't mess this up, Papi, because the third time probably ain't going to come around.
01:54I mean, maybe because the pandemic happened and all that.

02:00And and so then we did it, you know, James Carver the next day, like right on time, you know.
02:06And then he had to call me back. So I was like, dang.
02:09It was like my first line that we started reading. Right.
02:13Yeah. Just cut off. Like he just hung like hung the whole thing.
02:16I was like, oh, oh, you know.
02:19I was like, damn, you ain't even.

03:20I was like, oh, that's the easy part.
03:22He trying to get out of this character is going to be the hard part.
