00:00There is still less than about 1% to 2% of designers that are in major department stores that are designers of color.
00:09That hasn't changed since I started.
00:11That same statistic has remained.
00:13There is more now, but it still hasn't moved the needle a ton.
00:17And then when you go inside of retailers and go inside of brands, they don't even want me to walk on their design floor.
00:24I've had several brands go, Brandis, I'm like, let me see your design floor.
00:27Nope, I'm so sorry, we're not taking you there.
00:31And they will tell me, Brandis, we're embarrassed to take you there because we know that you're going to be tracking and we don't have enough black designers.
