Transcript
00:00Hi, my name is Greg. I work here at Pat O'Brien's and today we're going to show you how to make some classic New Orleans cocktails.
00:12So the Hurricane was invented at Pat O'Brien's in the early 40s.
00:15It has 4 ounces of Pat O'Brien's rum and 4 ounces of our Hurricane mix.
00:22It's a passion fruit based mix.
00:24The key to a good Hurricane is passion fruit. It would be the key ingredient into a Hurricane with the rum obviously.
00:30The big thing is you just don't want to make it overly sweet.
00:33So now we are making our Category 5 Margarita.
00:36Tequila.
00:38And we use Grand Gala. It's a triple sec.
00:41It has some sour mix to it.
00:43And then we're going to finish it off again with our Hurricane mix.
00:47Lime and cherry.
00:49And you have your Category 5.
00:52So now we have the Rainbow.
00:54This is one of our creations here.
00:56A very fun drink.
00:57We're going to start off with a little bit of grenadine.
01:00There you go.
01:01Then again with the sour mix.
01:03Then we're going to add a shot of vodka.
01:05Top it off with some blue Curacao.
01:08Finish with an orange and cherry.
01:11If you're in New Orleans, you have to stop by Pat O'Brien's.
01:14It's always a good time.
01:16You'll be right back to Pat O'Brien's.
