00:01My name is Ania Khan-Odofia.
00:03I would describe myself as a painter and illustrator.
00:07Well, being a creative here in D.C.,
00:10it's necessary to incorporate
00:13some of the elements of the city into some of the pieces.
00:18Take me to 1234 9th Street.
00:21Directions to 1234 9th Street NW.
00:25I start from one medium and go to the next
00:28and in my mind it's always like go further.
00:31I try to incorporate that in more of the public works.
00:35My name is Nikki Barnes.
00:36As a creative professional, I would be more classified as an artist.
00:39I create designs that are inspired by just everyday things.
00:44I actually am drawn to Georgetown a lot.
00:48Georgetown has changed over the years.
00:51It's almost kind of like reinventing itself and I love that.
00:54So, a couple years ago, my son would actually run into my sewing room.
01:00He would, you know, take of course my buttons and throw them everywhere.
01:04He pushed me to like go further and be that phenomenal designer and mom
01:09and seeing the pinnacles I could reach.
01:13Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Chef Daniel Thomas.
01:15I'm your culinary creator for the world's most powerful appetites.
01:18Some people call me a celebrity chef because of the clientele that I have
01:22and some people just call me a food connoisseur.
01:25I'm an entrepreneur now.
01:26Before, I was one of the head chefs for the United States Senate,
01:29the president and all foreign heads of state.
01:31So, I was always at the capital running the executive of the dining room.
01:35I've cooked for over 100 foreign heads of state.
01:37Now, I have the honor doing it on my own with my own business
01:41where I manage the diets of celebrities, politicians, kings and queens,
01:45making sure they stay healthy. It's all about food.
01:48We have embassies from almost every country here in Washington, D.C.
01:52Food brings people back together.
01:54And I would say my mission is to change lives one tasteful at a time.
01:59I'm Steve Smith. I'm the singer of the band.
02:01I'm Silk and I'm the drummer.
02:03I'm Ariella O'Neill and I'm the guitarist.
02:05I'm Frank. I'm the bass player.
02:07I'm Reed. I'm the rock.
02:08We are the fix.
02:09We're just a bunch of musicians and artists who came together to form our song.
02:14It's pretty much how things work here.
02:17You know, Steve handed the R&B, handed the hip-hop,
02:20and they're great at what they do on the instruments.
02:23We have a sound of, like, the old D.C., I would say.
02:27Some of that good background of good R&B, like, it's hard to really find music these days
02:32that's not just how some people would say, like, 7-Eleven songs.
02:36You just get seven lines, 11 different times.
02:39Our music is timeless.
02:41It's a feel-good vibe.
02:42It's different. It's us.
02:43Yeah.
02:44It's your girl Lonnie Love at the My City Four Ways.
02:48We're having a good time.
02:49This is D.C.
02:50Look up the hashtag The My Ford City.
